Hi there and welcome to RoboTots. We're so excited for our latest Christmas action adventure. So stand up and move along as you listen to the story. Oh, and be sure to hit that like and subscribe button.
T’was the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was to stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that Saint Nicholas would soon be there. The children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads.
Let's dance like sugarplums. Get up on your tippy toes and walk around with tiny steps. Move your arms up and down slowly and twirl around.
Daddy and I in pajamas and cap had just settled down for a long winter's nap. Tucked tight in our beds, all snug and sound. It began to snow and blanket the ground.
Spread your hands out and wiggle your fingers like it's snowing. Move your hands up and down and make it snow all around. Look, it's snowing.
When out on the lawn, there arose such a loud clatter, I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window, I flew in a flurry to open the shutters and looked out in a hurry.
What's all that noise outside? Get down on the ground and pretend that you're lying in bed. Now quickly sit up and look from side to side. Lay back down and try it again.
When what to my wondering, eyes did appear, but a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer.
On Dasher, and Dancer, Prancer and Vixen. On Comet and Cupid, Donner and Blitzen
Time to prance like a reindeer. Skip around the room and pretend to be a flying reindeer. Put your hands on your head like you have antlers. Can you prance faster?
So up to the housetop the reindeer team flew with a sleigh full of toys and St Nicholas too. And then in a twinkling, I heard on the roof the prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew my head and was turning around, down the chimney, St Nicholas came with a bound.
Let's jump down the chimney. Pretend that you have a big bag of toys slumped over your back. Now jump in place. This bag just won't fit. Let's try it again.
You did it.
He was dressed in all fur from head to his foot, and his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot. A bundle of toys - he carried on his back. He flung the bag down and opened his sack.
Time to open Santa's sack. Spread your legs out wide and place the bag in the middle. Take one hand and bend down and reach deep into the bag to take out a present. Now, use your other hand. Keep going until you've taken all the presents out.
His eyes - how they twinkled. His dimples - how merry. His cheeks were like roses. His nose - like a cherry. He had a broad face and a little round belly that shook when he laughed like a bowl full of jelly.
Can you laugh like Santa? Take a deep breath in and make a big belly laugh. Ho ho, ho ho ho. Let's do it again. See if you can make your belly shake like a bowl full of jelly.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to work and filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk and laid his finger just under his nose - SHHH! - and giving a nod, up the chimney he rose.
It's time to leave and there's only one way to go. Up this chimney. Pretend to climb up like you're climbing a ladder. Keep going until you make it to the top.
You made it.
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle. Away they all flew, as light as a thistle.
You're in Santa's sleigh now. Let's zoom around the room. We're flying high above the housetops. There's your house. Now, let's bring the sleigh in for a safe and smooth landing.
I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight, Merry Christmas to all. And to all - a good night.
It's Christmas Eve, time to go to bed early, because Santa will be coming tonight. Curl up on the ground and close your eyes.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight. We had such a great time. Thanks for joining in and be sure to catch our next RoboTots action adventure. See you next time. Bye.
