Centre alumnus Jay Hoffman (300-77-36) has been the head coach of Colonels women's soccer since the 2004 season, leading the program to conference, regional and national success. Highlights of Hoffman’s tenure include eleven consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (2011-2022), ten straight Southern Athletic Association titles (2012-2022) and a 2015 NCAA Final Four run. The wins are only part of the story for Hoffman. He is just as happy to tell you about what his former players have gone on to do as graduates and ambassadors for the school. He is a greatly successful coach, but more importantly, he runs a collegiate athletics program the way it is supposed to be run, helping build the next generation of professionals and leaders that will impact their communities. It’s my pleasure to share a conversation with my friend, Jay Hoffman, as we catch up on the heels of his 300th win as a head coach!
