Episode description

Recapturing that early morning moment when you wake up and the mind is still. The moment before you calculate what day it is and what's in store. The moment before you remember what you were thinking about yesterday. Using 4,7,8 breathing to switch out the stress response into a place where the body also gets a chance to rest and recover. Breathing exercises are a fast way to bypass the mind and access the stress off switch in the body. If you are new to breathing exercises it may be difficult to reach the count suggested, in which case don't force anything and keep practising. If at any time it feels uncomfortable or you feel dizzy, please stop and instead take some deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
