Episode description

Hesci! Welcome to the first Skoden Cinema Hall of Fame spotlight episode featuring Oklahoma's own Will Sampson. What can you possibly say about the man who singlehandedly broke tinsel town's stereotypical portrayal of Native peoples? He was a renowned painter, activist, and actor. His career would last but 12 short years, leaving behind only 22 film and television appearances. But the impact that he left in Native filmgoers is still felt today! The episode explores his life told through stories, books, and letters shared with me by friends, relatives, and relations from all over Indian country.MVTO!
