WHAT CAN BE TAUGHT - WHAT MUST WE LEARN?

(Aired 1/8/19) Camille Sanzone says there are many things we can be taught, but there are others we must learn on our own. Some things, not always purposefully taught, we learn by observation & our experience of life - things like kindness & decency. Adults often tell children: DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO, but children model our behavior, so while children are not inherently prejudiced or hateful, they can learn to BE that way by watching the adults around them.
