ISMS: a suffix added to a word, denoting action or practice, doctrine, devotion or adherence to a belief system - political, social, personal or religious. ISMS tend to divide. People fight over them, die for them, and deny common ground around them. And then there are MOMISMS for some comic relief. What ISMS are in your brain's file cabinet of ideas about life?
