Episode description

Camille Sanzone pays tribute to all mothers, but mostly to her own Sicilian mother, Josephina. She says: “My mother was a good person who didn’t understand unkindness, who never raised her voice in anger. She did, however, raise the Sicilian mother’s weapon of choice, the wooden spoon, but rarely. She had a flawless complexion & a beautiful singing voice. She was a pretty woman who loved music, & wanted to be loved with inspiration.” You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, & you’ll hear her mother sing.
