David Adkins Washington Wizards Assistant Coach

Kurt and Trish are joined today by Washington Wizards Assistant Coach, David Adkins.  Starting his coaching journey at high school boys basketball powerhouses, Montrose Christian and DeMatha, working with a number of talented future NBA players, including Kevin Durant, to leading Maryland Terps female team to the 2014 NCAA Women's Final Four learning from the great Brenda Frese and now as a trusted and respected part of the Wizards organization.  We talk about the evolution of both the mens and womens games,  the importance of protecting players, and one's own mental health and an inside look at the future of some of our favourite players in the League, including a player close to coach's heart, Isaiah Thomas.
