Episode description

In this episode we are joined by Oskar Cedermalm of Truckfighters. Ozo talks with us about the sound on the new album “V”, their live show, Live in London, some of the cities they are playing on this US tour, the difference between crowds in the US and Europe, Fuzzorama Records, the epic Calm Before the Storm video, why every band from Sweden is great, and even Golden Corrall. We also lament the closing of Downtown Lounge in Tulsa as we talk about the Truckfighters show with Redwitch Johnny and Kings Destroy. We take a complete look back at the memorable and amazing Holata Fest from this past weekend at the Shrine in Tulsa, the event to honor the the life and music of John Holata. We talk about the excellent performances from Machine in the Mountain, Enslaved by Fear, Forever in Disgust, Fist of Rage, Sovereign Dame, The Revolutioners, Grind, Severmind, Dryvr (with Eddie from Even the Dogs on vocals!) and the emotional performance from Screaming Red Mutiny. We also play a track from SRM. Thanks for listening, and please share!
