Raising Tech Healthy Humans with Author and Productivity Consultant, Daniel Sih
Episode description
For children to be apprentices of Jesus, the way we use technology cannot continue. The amount, and the way technology is used today, where tech addiction is on the rise, we are robbing our children to learn self-control, empathy, goodness, and kindness.
Technology preys on certain parts of the brain, especially at a young age, that does not allow them to develop the relational devices required for true heart connection with their families and peers.
There is a growing disconnect between children and God, which is why we have welcomed back Daniel Sih to shed some light on how to bring our children back to themselves, their humanity, and God.
Daniel is a productivity consultant, professional speaker and award-winning author. He is passionate about changing the way we interact with the digital world in life and work. Daniel has recently published a book called, Raising Tech-Healthy Humans: How to reset your children's tech-habits and give them a great start to life, in hopes to raising awareness around how our children’s tech habits are taking away a piece of their humanity, and how to get it back
Today’s episode is full of practical knowledge from Daniel’s latest book, explaining why technology is affecting children, as well as adults, the lasting repercussions of too much tech use, how to limit screen time after having allowed too much, and tips on what kind of tech use is beneficial and what isn’t.
Tune in to hear advice and to learn how you can change the way you and your children use technology so you can get back to the simple things, and God.
