TDT #286 - Hashbrown Johnny Karate

This week it's the third installment of the Karate Kid/Cobra Kai series and this time Patsy and Ashes are discussing Johnny Lawrence! From stereotypical 80s bully/villain to sympathetic character, they discuss his journey as we get to learn about who he is, what motivates him, and how he came to be the guy we knew in the 80s. They also discuss how his desire to be his own man, the relationship he had with the male role models in his life, and how the events of his life played out to bring him to where he is today helps him mold young karate students into better versions of himself. They also discuss his relationships with the other characters, the drastic change in his financial situation, and more played out and what we might see next from Sensei Lawrence. All this plus some other movies that could use prequel/sequel TV series (and vice versa), a preview of what's coming next, and more on this week's episode!
