Jade Panares joins me this week on the show! Jade has been a friend for years since we were in university together. On this episode, she discusses being a music educator and a performer. She discusses what it was like growing up as a first generation Filipina and having a different Filipino dialect spoken at home than I did. We discuss vulnerability, mental health, and the agency of saying yes and saying no. I was fortunate to receive her openness and it’s exciting to share her experiences.
