Episode description

It all starts from the minute we wake in the morning. It sets up the brain and the mind for the rest of the day. Mind training has been known for centuries and its benefits are the subject of hundreds of books. Why is it that many of us still struggle to do the simplest of techniques that can help us have a greater ability to handle stresses, negative emotions, and letting go of things we have no control over? Because it is SIMPLE not easy to overcome millions of years of the brain's wiring that primarily cares only about survival. As we learn more, see more, and gain greater knowledge about how the brain works and then take daily action - we can make changes that once seemed impossible.

In this episode we discuss how the first steps begin when we wake up in the morning. Try  taking a deep breath, wiggle your toes before you get out of bed, think of one thing to be grateful for or simply look at a tree. Becoming the boss of the brain.
