In today's minisode, I'm talking about why music is a great reminder that we are all, fundamentally, the same.

I recently went to see Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel on consecutive nights in London's Hyde Park. Being at those gigs reminded me of the power that live music has to bring us all together.

In an often separated world where so many are afraid of each other, live music is a heartwarming reminder that, in truth, we are far more similar than we are different. When it comes down to it, all of us want happiness and health for ourselves and those we love.

There is nothing like standing in a crowd of 65,000 people united by a song - where religion, race, age, background or beliefs become irrelevant - to remind us that human beings are more alike than we realise.
