Name: Forkroot G&Tea
Inspiration: Sharon Gilham's favorite cocktail is a gin & tonic. So to honor our illustrious costume designer, I tried to think of any other dress designers in the WoT universe and one sprang forth to mind... Rhonda Macura. The Macura woman dosed Nynaeve and Elayne with forkroot tea, so I used early grey infused gin and mint simple syrup to replicate the flavors of forkroot.
Cocktail Recipe:
In a shaker with ice, pour:
2 oz earl grey gin (see a cup of tea recipe for the gin instructions)
0.5 oz mint simple syrup
0.25 oz lemon juice
Shake then strain over fresh ice in glass
Top with tonic and stir gently
Garnish with mint leaves
