Episode description

Is Friendship breakups a real thing? If it's real how do we recover or heal from the loss of a friendship? How do we permit ourselves to grieve well? And how do we cultivate an authentic friendship? My friend Fumane shares in detail about all of this. She draws from her own experiences and pours wisdom on having permission to grieve a lost friendship. She further encourages us, to have faith and pray for Christ- centered friendships that glorify God. She also alludes that it is possible to leave toxic friendships, and pursue loudly healthy friendships. I loved Fumane's voice on this topic in our community of sisterhood.   So if you have been hurt, dissappointed or recently experienced a heartbreak in a friendship, this episode is for You sis. I hope you learn, heal, pray and desire healthy spaces that will lift you up and carry you well to your purpose.  We must continue looking to our Lord Jesus Christ for the best example in this matter. We see Him  taking on our nature so that he might be our friend and brother (Hebrews 2:14). The mystery of this friendship is beyond our imagination. “That eminent servant of God, Jonathan Edwards, when he was at his last, said, ‘Where is Jesus of Nazareth, my old and faithful friend? I know he will be with me now that I need his help,’ and so he was, for that faithful servant died triumphant.” (Spurgeon)
