#16 Sickness and pain in life

Many people have asked me, “why does God allow such pain, suffering, and sickness in life?” It's a good question that I will try to answer. As always, I go to the Bible to find answers to such questions.

Being sick or in pain is hard! I often have a desire to do many things—but then I will not sleep well, I will hurt my back, or get sick. This is so discouraging! I have learned that God holds me accountable for what I can do, not what I cannot. So I work for God as hard as I can, and if I am sick I rest.

So today let’s look at what the Bible says about pain, suffering, and sickness.
