General Skating News

• ISU posted that Junior Grand Prix in Yerevan, Armenia has been postponed due to safety concerns regarding the developments taking place at the Armenia/Azerbaijan border and protests in Yerevan.  

• The Russian Anti-Doping Agency announced the completion of its investigation of Olympic figure skater Kamila Valieva. USA Today’s Christine Brennan wrote an article on it. 

• The ISU posted its entries for Finlandia Trophy. U.S. Figure Skating confirmed its entries on its International Assignments page.

• ISU posted the entries for the seventh Junior Grand Prix -Egna, Italy (no pairs). U.S. Figure Skating confirmed its entries on its International Assignment page. Canada did not confirm their entries yet. 

• Nominations for the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame continue until September 26.

• Kirsten Moore-Towers is launching her website on Sept. 20. 

• Sara Hurtado & Kirill Khaliavin have created a new ice dance school in Spain - it now has a name - SK International Ice Dance School.
