Welcome to this. Watch live hi. I'm Lydia Winters. And I'm Boo Boo. And it is Friday. This morning I said to one of our colleagues, I was like, hey, how was your weekend? And he was like, I was like, no, but what did you do this weekend? And he's like, I can't really think of, I can't think of it, 'cause it was a while ago. And then I was like, I didn't even know what day it is. I'm so confused about time. You were asking him. About as. Though it was Monday or

something. Yeah, but that doesn't make sense 'cause it was a really long. Week. It was a really long week with a lot of stuff. But also we. Just got home. Someone came in and it was the first time I saw them today and I was like, oh, bye. And then a while later I was like, I think I meant to say hi. So we had a really big work day today and a work week and a work month. And so, yeah, I am very excited because. We have not missed a day of podcast. Today I found out that the

weekend starts tomorrow. It does start tomorrow. But we have not missed a day of podcasting. We. Have not. And today, we are going to RIP off Brit Pierce. Yes and Brit Pierce is an amazing YouTube. She's also one of our best friends in the world and she is brilliant. And when we are like, there's no ideas left in these brains. We no no no put on a Brit Pierce

video has. Nothing to do with that, it's just a pure RIP off, Yeah. Well yeah, but isn't a RIP off when you have no ideas in your brain and you want to RIP it off? No. You can have tons of ideas and still RIP things off. Oh, you're that? Good. Oh, you're saying you just have tons of ideas? I am so full of ideas, but the. Best one is to RIP off Brit Pierce. Today, episode 180 of our Monday

through Friday daily podcast. Yes. We are ripping off a Brit Pierce video from recently that I suggest you all watch because we're not going to go through everything that Brit said. However, she made a list of her top five worst watches of the last three years. Which is a very specific time period that I love. Three years. 3:00-ish years actually. And and we're going to go through them and give our own

opinions. Yes, because as we watched this video, well, I listened because we were driving. Yes, but I was, I was saying some different opinions, yes. Which which? Which was very interesting to me and that's why it makes for a good episode. Yes, Bert didn't know she was in a debate with someone. No, she didn't know she was in a debate. Actually, she does, because she's read her own YouTube comments before. If you're on YouTube, you're always in a debate. Yes, that is, that is true.

Yeah. I mean, I started on YouTube. Probably a lot of people don't know this. No 2000. I started on YouTube in 2010 so I know about them, YouTube debates and the comments. Yes, I do. You know you'd. Scarred for life? In 14 years that so much would have changed. No, no, nothing's. Changed not for a woman online. Definitely. All right. Number one, OK, on Britt's list, we've talked about this, but we're going to talk about a little bit again, is the Rolex Deep Sea Yellow Gold.

OK, I don't think this deserves to be on the worst. Nope, because I think it's just a little fun to pick on. Which I do agree it's so. Easy. To pick on. But actually when we I got to try it on, I loved it. I thought it was cool. Too big for me. It's gigantic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not about diving, so I get it. But also. But also, why is it not about diving? Because it's a big gold watch, you'll sink to the bottom. You have to. Leave it.

You know how like scuba divers, you, you need to put weights on to like sink, I think down to the ocean floor. Is that what happens with diving? And then then if you have to take the the the weights off, you have to just throw your. Challenge, you know. I have been diving once but it turns out I don't. Remember where weights on that people? But it was kind of surface level. OK, Well, that's not right either. It wasn't. 3 meters. Hold diving, but it wasn't far.

No, I couldn't. I couldn't equalize my pressure, so I couldn't stay down. No, probably because there were no weights holding you. Holding. If only I had a. OK, let's. Solid gold, deep sea. Look, look, remember everyone, this is a person who said bye to someone who walked in into the room so just, and who asked if someone's weekend was good. So don't. They're not.

Brainless. One of the things that Brit liked about this is that it doesn't have a cyclops and that to me is like my only criticism of this watch because I love the cyclops. I do love Cyclops, yeah. Too. It makes it so much easier to read the. Date OK. All right #2 the AP Black Panther. Wholeheartedly agree. Oh, it's a no from me dog. It's a no. For you, yeah. I I I actually completely agree with this.

One I look, The thing is, it's not about Black Panther or they did the Spider Man 1. It's hard with these things that are. Very characters. Like character stuff is hard. I look I The thing is I think doing it is is cool. I just don't like it so OK. This episode is to balance out puppies and watches yesterday. To be clear. This is like a little more hard hitting grumpy. This is. This is hard hitting however. But if you spent 150,000 Swiss francs on this or however 250,000 Swiss francs.

You think people who own the AP Black Panther are listening to our podcast right now? Yes, if you are one of the many owners listening to this podcast, then you know what? I hope you you really love it. That sounds it sounds like you mean but. You sound so sarcastic. Like, I hope you really love it. Hope you love that dumb old watch. Your body, I hope you really. You know you can't say it without sounding so.

Actually do mean it. I I'm glad you got 1 and you really wanted it. That's what I mean to say. Almost all the watches I enjoy hating on I also appreciate, and this is one of those this is. One where I don't. I I do not enjoy the aesthetic, but I recognize that obviously like 150 people did because they sold them all and I get it like

I get the in the world. Different people like different things and although for me an expensive watch with a comic book character on it is not exciting for me. But since I was watching that show with my dad, the Golden touch GOLDIN because his last name is Golden. People pay a lot of money for comic books, like millions of dollars, so at least. But they are collectibles. Yes, I know, but I'm saying at least in this. But those you can't open, you can't read them.

No you can't. At least in this case you could wear it on your. Wrist open it. But you could, you could wear it, but I'm saying you get to use it. So watches are awesome. OK, that's. My that's the summary. Number three, OK, we're sticking with AP because Britt decided to pick on the remaster O2. And for those of you who don't know, this is fairly recent. This is this year and it's an asymmetric case that is, huh, What is that shape? It's rectangular, trapezoidal ish.

Yes. OK, so I think this is a cool watch and I was kind of like no brick, you're wrong. But then when she pointed out the difference in size, how? Because the original was like 27mm. Yes, but that would wear a lot bigger because it's asymmetrical. It would. Wear well, but but it depends on where they're measuring. If they're measuring from corner to corner like so, I don't know how they measure this watch. Like what is the 41 millimeter? Dimension anyway. So it doesn't necessarily mean

it wears bigger. But my complaint is no too big. Have you worn it? Well OK, I've seen the photos of it at 41 millimeters. It is really big and if they're remastering it, I wish it was in a more accessible size. I haven't seen it so but I just I just. I think it's super cool I. Really like it so OK I want more companies to bring back like crystals with facets. OK, Yes, faceted crystals, yes, please. Like. So I I've been a little bit obsessed with some vintage Seikos and grand Seikos that

have faceted crystals. I. And they're super. Just learning this fact right now, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you know, it's one of those things. This is interesting because Vu talks my ear off. I can't tell you everything I was thinking about more. Researching it seems like is that. What you think is that? What? You think, But today I learned that there's still some secrets left in there. Yeah, so I've been looking at them and it's again, I I get scared of vintage, right because

of provenance and yeah. And is it original and? All of these types of having touched it with their grubby little pals, Yeah. Yeah, do you know how grubby the paws are of? The people talking a lot about dogs and paws today. I've said dog. And paw. Anyway, I think this watch is fantastic. I think this is, although not a super attainable watch or even somewhat attainable watch for

most people that exist. I like the idea of doing things that are a bit different, even if it's based on something that already existed in the past. Yes, I agree. Modern watches don't look like this and I think it's really cool. Yes, I do too, but I wish it was. I haven't tried it on, it might fit me perfectly, so I. But I, I know for sure it will not fit me perfectly. And for that, it's a, it's a, it's a worst watch over the past three years.

I agree with Brad. Watch #4 we are talking about the Blancpan Swatch Scuba 50 fathoms. I do not agree with this because OK, wait, here's a hot take. Though I'm kind of scared to say I prefer that to the Moon Swatch. Is that a hot take? Yeah. I guess most people prefer the Moon Swatch. Yeah. Yeah, I like the look of it more. I think it's more like, I think it's a little more trendy. I guess it has a cooler look to me.

This one. But maybe it's because like, I'm burnt on those those little moon swatches from seeing them. Now they are available online, just not here. Yes, only in the US and China. Yeah, so anyway. Not widely. Available. The thing that I wasn't really into with this, well, OK, there were two. One was price. It felt like a lot. And #2 was the fact that It's US feels somehow completely wrong to have this Blancpon dive watch that is also like a throwaway watch.

Yes, OK. Yeah. Like it cannot be repaired, it is. No oceans were saved, no. Oceans were saved OK I and on the back it has like a nooty brank and it like it The whole thing is like oh oceans but plastics are destroying our. Ocean, yeah, but I'm so hard. Saying. Thing. Yes I completely agree. I'm only saying that I like the look of it more. I do. Not the concept or or yeah.

Oh, and I'm not saying that these are worse or better than the Moon Swatch in terms of like being decent for the Earth. I just think that a dive watch, and especially one with like wildlife on the back of it, it just feels very weird. It feels strange. But the actual worst watch in my opinion to come out of that is not the collaboration, but that right after they did that very expensive version of the 50 fathoms and it looked just like the Swatch ones.

That is my worst Swatch because I was like, again, everyone knows if I've paid a lot for it, I want it to be not looking like you. Want it to look like, not. Yes, and definitely not look like the brand new. Plastic one. Plastic one because if someone if you spent all that money and then someone was like, oh cool, yeah, I've got one of those two. From the Swatch. Store. Do you know how often that happens to the person? To the people who bought it? Well, luckily. Right.

Very few people buy actual 50 fathoms. Oh boy. I mean, let's. Be Oh, it's Friday. They're not everywhere. No, you don't see them out there. I. Have never seen A50 fathoms in the wild. No. I've never seen one. No. I haven't even seen one at a watch event. Also no. Yeah, so I'm, I'm, I'm not worried. We're insulting a bunch of 50 fathoms owners. Maybe a couple. Yeah, maybe. Not a bunch, but not a bunch. All right, last one. Yes.

This is an easy one, I think. Well, they're all easy ones because Britt did the homework to actually put this list together and all we're doing is literally ripping off her. Work thank you Britt. I think her video is 10 minutes too, so we also we. Somehow stretched her own content further. Than she did. Because there's two of us giving opinions. Aquanaut. So OK, that's a protect Philippe Aquanaut. Not to be confused with any other Aquanaut. Yes. Luche. OK.

So this is absolutely it. It's like if you took the concept of a rainbow Daytona and then but it's an Aquanaut and the rainbow's everywhere. Yeah, it's like there are diamonds everywhere. There's colors everywhere. Everywhere. And it's a minute repeater and it's two and a half million dollars. Well. Or maybe it was pounds. I don't. Know I mean, I wanted it. I wanted it for. Something that doesn't really matter, yeah. I was all in until you said the price. OK, so look.

I I haven't heard an opinion on this. One, I'm going to say something and I I already know this is not going to go down well. With anyone? A few a few specific friends. One of them is Britt's husband. I'm not a huge Aqua, not fan I. Don't. I'm not commenting on that. I just don't. I get it. I prefer the Aquanaut to the Nautilus. I don't think that I do. I think I prefer the Nautilus, but the little Teletubby babies.

Have you tried them on? Yes, I've tried both on but I haven't tried an aquanaut in my size so that could be the difference because when I've tried a Nautilus that's in my size then I. Then I forget which model it was a. 2 tone or something, then I'm like OK yeah, so probably if I tried an Aquanaut in my size because I can appreciate it.

I just it's not for me. OK, But this Aquanaut, the thing that makes, I think for most people, the thing that makes an aquanaut an aquanaut is the rubber strap. That's what really separates it from a Nautilus for for many people, at least the way I've heard people talk about it and this one. I thought it was like the little grenade look. That's part of it too, yeah. But when you look at this one, it is clearly like the the case of the watch is Aquanaut, but the bracelet could be anything

because it's a bracelet. It's not rubber, it's covered in diamonds. It's made of gold. It is It is another thing entirely. Like I said, it is as if you took a rainbow Daytona and you were like, OK, rainbow Daytona, you're super lame because you do not have enough color, enough diamonds or enough expense. OK, Wait, hold on. When I look at this, I've changed my mind on Aqua. She wasn't looking and I just

showed. Her I really, I must say I just kind of slightly remembered it, but the gradient of colors. Yeah, I'm I'm kind of in for this. I have to say this is not a worst for me. You should start saving. I am going to. Well, you've said you want to consolidate the collection. I want to consolidate it. Into two and a half million dollars. No. That's some real consolidate. I would be impressed with that

level. Of I would be impressed too because I would have to really somehow consolidate plus make a lot, a lot of money. Exponentially, yes. It's Friday, Boo. Oh yeah. All right, all right. We did it. Wait. Bye bye, bye, bye bye, bye, bye. Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye. Bye bye bye bye. Bye. Bye bye, bye, bye, bye. Bye bye.
