Episode description

Kristina and Anna are revisiting the primal wounds, after taking a break to recover from doing this shadow work process two years ago. This episode re-airs the original episode and also includes an update and reflection on what they have learned since the first recording. The original episode has been our most shared episode to date!

In this fifth episode in our eight part series on the Primal Wounds, our cohosts explore the final primal wound, the wound of Humiliation. Have you ever experienced the feelings of shame and unworthiness wrapped up in the the pain of humiliation? In this episode you will learn how to recognize the ways in which the humiliation wound shows up in your every day life. Anna and Kristina explore how masochistic behavior (self-suffering) is the coping mechanism to protect oneself from this wound. And, they explore tools and experiences that helped them forgive and love their own sense of humiliation.
