Episode description

In today’s episode Anna and Kristina revisit Internal Family Systems work, but with a deeper appreciation and understanding for how deep this shadow work process can be. Anna discusses how IFS seems to have cured her PMDD, and Kristina discusses how IFS keeps her emotionally regulated throughout the day. If you love shadow work, this episode is not to be missed.

Anna’s Strategy for IFS:

1) Establish a yes/no system

2) Put yourself into alpha

3) Take Four Sheets of Paper and Label them: Primary Influencers, Secondary Influences, etc.

4) Using yes/no establish how many clusters are primary influencers, then secondary, etc.

5) When addressing a cluster ask how many pods are in the cluster.

6) Address the protectors (managers & firefighters) first and then the exile within each pod.

7) After the entire cluster has been addressed, have all those parts do ho’oponopono to each other.
