On today's episode, we have the pleasure of speaking with Isaac Brock, the frontman of Modest Mouse. With over 25 years as one of the most celebrated indie rock bands of our time, Modest Mouse has made their mark on the indie rock scene with iconic albums such as The Lonesome Crowded West and Good News for People Who Love Bad News. The band are headed to Australia to headline Daydream Festival, which kicks off this week. In this episode, we chat with Isaac about returning to Australia, the making of The Golden Casket, and his songwriting approach. We dive into the legacy of their previous albums and why they still resonate with fans today. Plus, we get a glimpse into Isaac's listening habits, including his love for Australian acts like Tropical Fuck Storm and the children's show soundtrack Bluey.
