The LA based jazz vocalist cites Billie Holiday, Tina Turner and Gladys Knight as influences and has recently released her incredible debut record Black Acid Soul. In today's episode, we're speaking with Lady Blackbird about her upbringing in Christian music, working with artists like Trombone Shorty, getting back to touring and what it's like recording in Studio B (Prince's room) at Sunset Sound in LA.
