We're excited to have flowerkid as our guest! The indie pop project of musician and songwriter Flynn Sant burst onto the scene in 2018 with songs like 'boy with the winfields and the wild heart' and 'vodka orange juice’, and solidified his position as one of Australia's most exciting young songwriters. He recently returned with his brilliant single 'Diss & Disappoint’, and in today's episode we discussthe songwriting process for the single and what inspired it, as well as flowerkid's honest lyrics and why they resonate with people. We also talk about diversity within the music industry and why songwriting from marginalised communities is becoming more prominent.
