Episode description

Elsy Wameyo joins us on the pod this Friday! The Kenyan-born, Adelaide-based singer, rapper and producer has been building a name for herself over the last few years and has shared stages with the likes of Sampa The Great, Adrian Eagle and Hilltop Hoods. She's releasing her incredible debut EP today, entitled Nilotic. In today's episode, we're talking with Elsy about the inspiration behind her brilliant single River Nile, where this new sense of self came from, whether she'll get her Dad on a track soon, and we discuss the music of Little Simz.

You can buy Nilotic here.
