On today's episode, we chat with Tim Nelson, the frontman of Brisbane four-piece, Cub Sport. With the release of their gorgeous fifth record, Jesus At The Gay Bar, the band continues to push the boundaries of their sound, diving headfirst into the realm of emotional dance music. We discuss the inspiration behind the album title, which stemmed from a poignant poem, and how Tim drew on his past to create a cohesive and introspective record. We also delve into the band's songwriting process and the importance of sonic evolution. And, of course, we couldn't resist asking Tim about his experience working with Savage Garden frontman Darren Hayes.
