We're incredibly excited to advise you that our guest today is Christian Lee Hutson! The California native released one of my favourite records of 2020 with his album Beginners, and last week he released the brilliant follow-up Quitters. In today's episode, we're speaking with Christian about the evolution of songwriting from his last record to Quitters, the experience of having Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst as producers, how Elliot Smith influenced his music, and we discuss why South Australia seems to be pumping out brilliant bass players.
