Episode description

'Millennials are killing _' has been a rallying cry for older folks for years now; an anti-youth complaint directed at a generation greatly misunderstood and misrepresented.  Within the last few weeks, the clapback to this, and against the generation largely responsible for the original anti-youth attacks - Baby Boomers - has come not from Millennials, but their younger cousins, Generation Z. 'OK BOOMER' is as potent and becoming as viral in its cry against the injustices and ignorance of old age as much as using 'Millennial' as shorthand for entitled and lazy youth has been for the previous 5 to 10 years.  But why are the generations feuding?  What even are the generations, anyway? Let's learn the fascinating details of generational theory, and what exactly it is that has caused 60-somethings to be at war with 20-somethings, and what this theory can teach us about the rhythms of our society.  *Presented to you by a very proud, 29-year-old, Millennial*
