But you know, there were some other events on campus today that is old legacy five k thousands of participants. Yeah, one of our very own Pete and his friends and family did the did the

run. We should have did the run, but it was, you know, too much time ahead of it. Yeah, we wanted to do it, you know, which had to get chu chu. But he was a little was dressing all black and he said, it's Johnny Cash, that's what you got to dress up like that. I knew he was sweating til he got out of there. Yeah. Man, a lot of people out there there, beautiful weather. As we said, I mean the thousands of participants.

So did a phenomenal job in the older bit. Yeah, and also it's it's been a good thing where people turned out, showed up, a lot of people on campus. Uh, we have our baseball, our softball team that was competing. Hopefully softball did getting rained out and they finished the game. But it's a lot of traffic, a lot of support. Yeah, growing was here. Had a strong showing against Miami Temple and Tulsa this morning on Lake Ovid and Sleepy Hollow State Park. Yeah, if you ever

been there, that facility is obviously phenomenal. It's a brand new facility. But it's right on the water. They're rolling. Man, it's on the sand. It's on the sand. But if you had any chance to go out there to the to the boat houses chet oh man. You know, talking about the other events, baseball wins twelve to two or for Western Illinois in game one with doubleheader, Oh yeah last night, man, it was under the lights. It was pretty nice when they won. You know,

you have the flickering the lights. You know, we do the little fan engagement goes in and out, but we all we all all about spartans wins and this is good for baseball. It was good. Yeah, Baseball did the win. Softball had a loss, they lost five to nothing in the Minnesota, but still some positive things. Absolutely absolutely. You know, we have a first new head coach for year one, so you know you're gonna have those pans and games, but she's coaching them up, getting that standard,

switching the tie from the culture standpoint. So uh, keep the support because they has some big wins. But I think next year is gonna be obviously the next next one we're gonna look forward to. Before we get any further, we got to make sure that Harriet Dean gets a shot out. What's up? Mary Smith? Tatum to hear Steve out, oh man,

people, the players are here signing it. You know, it's a it's a it's a family affair here in East Landsley, you know, talking about the hardest schedule for Michigan State, they're saying that Mischigan State now is the number two hardest schedule in the country when you look at the entire nation here only South Carolina being harder than Michigan State coming up at sixty two point seven.

Listen, we talked about this that one. If we just compete and we win the games that we need to win, and we need to beat that team down the road. I think that's just the strength of schedule gets us to obviously the Bowl game eligible. But I think that once we put the the chemistry going on and then we start clicking, we still got a fall, we still got off season the summertime, we still got the training. So capitalize on what happened in spring, which we're gonna update on the

second half of this. But I think it's gonna be great that I'm I want it. I want the competition. You know, you want to be on the national spotlight, and so when you have those wins, there's solid wins. So I'm looking forward to that. You're right about that. Speaking of Harriet Beings the gymnastics update, you know, we talked about the n c A Championships, the lady and in both Gavin Stevens Uh, We're gonna

take a little video here and see how they performed. Otis Listen, I wish I could give you a breakdown of like what he but Harriet could give us a break she really could, you know. I think I think the standpoint of bring them beer right right right here, right here, there's a little breakdown here. We put Harry on the spot here, so I got right here Harriet. So, Harry has been a long time supporter of gymnastics. I've known Harriet. I was playing days. Yep, Harriet has a

bus that all of our former players. I mean, we talked about calculating how many people have signed that bus. Right, It's like three thousand former Spartan dogs all across our sports signed that bus. But she's a long time supporter. And you're in charge of what we don't say booster club. Well no, but I'm president of the gymnastics former booster club now just called the Perfect ten point oh Club. And this year I'm actually president of the Downtown

Coaches Club, which the official booster club football. So I got my hands full, got hands full. Well, we talked about our gymnastics program and from what we've endured to coach micro coming back and turning it to what it is now. Just to have two representatives at the national Championship to be competing is a huge testament to what he's done. But talk about Delaney, talk about Gabby and what they did. I know you were watching. We talk

about both of these young student athletes are simply amazing. And what the leini is doing now is gymnastics is partially artistic when you're on the floor, and it's partially elements that are required that they do. So right here, some of what the lady's doing is simply artistic. So she's getting the audience to believe in her and to follow her and to love her. And so she's just now here comes the first element and the elements that are passed, as

they call them, and here she goes. Now, that is so much harder than it looks, and what she did was darn near perfect. She had a little tiny bobble with her foot at the bottom, which may have cost her a little bit of a deduction. They start with a ten point zero and then they deduct from there. So this is again artistics that she's doing right now, but it's also part of the copulation of her score. So she's putting out a heck of a show right here, and she's also

fiercely competitive. And then in a minute she's going to work her way over to do this is an element. Also, these are the jumps. They have more technical names than that. So forgive me for not knowing the way trying to do her second pass, which is a required element in order to reach the ten point zero standard. So here she goes, and she goes right here, she takes a deep breath, extremely extremely difficult, and she nails it right there. So she absolutely did a perfect landing, and she

knows that you can see her right right now. Did the rest of the team go there to give her the support, because I think that's also the club being there with her. Rest of our teammates are there to cheer her own, especially when he does this. But talk so abby on the beam is the work of art. She is absolutely amazing. What you don't realize, if people don't realize, is that is four inches wide. It is four inches wide. Most people can't even walk the beam, let alone look

at this book that's now right there. She lifted her but that's what cost her, you know, for her her highest score. But it's amazing. Right here. That's an element move. That's a required move is to have some kind of a spin or a turn, and here she is. All of this is somewhat artistic, but it's also elements. And then she's prepping to do right here, right here again, I mean amazing, work absolutely amazing being work well. Here we appreciate this man, because this is this

is how we should before we are expert. That jump that she just did is absolutely flawless. I mean, and here she comes, this is this is going into her dismount. Watch this and a tiny tiny hop in there that kept her from kneeling it. Whoa. We're going to have that segment. Most of this is a future segment. Always thank you. How awesome is that? Man? I mean to she's always yeah, it's delivered. Here you go, all right, outstanding man. I mean, we got

a full breakdown of all elements, all things. Jim nastis like oldis you know when you look at We want to break down the spring game. You know, we want to talk to the players that are here. We got Jacobe women in the house. We've got Cal Holliday, we got Kean Coolevid, we got more, we got Dada, we got all kinds of guys here. We're gonna break it down and actually talk to those guys and you

and I should break down what we saw today. After this message from our friends over an I Hops introducing I Hops New expedis when you take up coached egg added to a crispy English muffin, fire roasted poblano peppers and shredded beef with our rich and buttery Honda sauce. You don't just get our handcrafted New Eggs Benedicts on your plate, you get a smile on your plate and new

Eggs Benedicts in four delish flavors on me for my house. Welcome back to us here live at the Fieldhouse. This is Sparta Jay swaying along with Otis Wiley breaking down today's spring game, having a subscribers only event. As you see it's live here. Man's been a lot of people in and out. The weather was beautiful today. It's a little rainy, but it's drying up.

Ain't nothing but a little rain ain't don't hurt nobody. So look, we got players passing us right now, but we have a player sitting with us right now in Jakobe Winman number four for missus state number one of your what's something to Kobe? Listen? Yeah? Oh, I said, how you doing? There? We go we're good man? How you doing good Man? I can't complain beautiful weather? Well it was it was good. I don't yeah. Yeah, So as you wrap up spring and the spring

itself. Tell us about the feelings is like how you feel right now from the spring now and now it's done and we're going to turn our page to summer workouts. Tell us what you're going through right now from listen at the standpoint I made for the most part, I feel pretty confident about this and our team overall. It's really just a matter of, you know, putting

everything together. So the Spike mab was a good time to compete with each other and just show what you can do on the field and off the field. So I think it's a pretty good spring long something to build off, something to look back on, you know, contique each other, get better from it. And it's man, Jacobany, I'm gonna tell you I was launch here in one on ones. I saw your team period. He's pretty much unblockable, brother, you know, especially in that two minute. You

know, they let Peyton. I think I don't know if it was Peyton that you got to that. If he wasn't wearing the red jersey, probably would have been a sack, but you know, they let him to make the play anyway. You know, Like, how do you feel about the pass or skills and your linebackers to be able to convert from two point stance free point stands. I feel like my pass rush is being a lot better. You know, I'm trying to learn how to steal work new moves.

You know, go DT is a big part of you know, my past rushing. He was very helpful and still so I just really trying to focus on small details on So that's what I'm gonna try and through and then not

going to transition from n tow back and sit. That's been like, you know, my main goal really working talking about the obviously the new coaching transition from change of bringing that coach coming in from the NFL experience obviously Stanford as well, but talk about that transition of having like that first time being with him in the spring and what are the elements that he's brought in that can help you elevate your game. I think for the most part, I love

he is. You know, he's one of them coaches who has a lot of experience. So he's not gonna yeah or nothing. He's not gonna be roud about things like because he's big numberfore. He just more like, let's go look at the fel Let's get a better off. Let's communicate as a elon. Let's Russians one, you know, because that's that's what he's all about. Russia's one one. That's awesome. Russians one. Coach Reno has been real good man for me so far because I can't help working with him

in the fall. Yeah, based off of a spring last season. JAA. Now this season, what are we gonna see from Chakoba women? Uh, I think you're gonna see just you know, our tone center, somebody to go out there and get the job done and do extra you know, effort. I feel like after the he a big part of you know, the defense and you know, be there fight together, making sure we all on one thing. You know. I look forward to it. Just bottle

all my brothers. Yeah, hey, Joe, Kobe. Then we got a lot to talk to you about, man, But we got all kind of teammates in here. We gotta get to to bro a phenomenal performance today. Definitely gonna be a start at this level and the next level. Good luck to you in the preparation for the fall. Captain's coming up. But man, hey, we appreciate you joining us. It's signed a couple of autographs have some chicken couple. Whatever do you want? Man, it's on

oldis Chicken. That's pretty good. Yeah when when you when you read it, he shout out of the field house. Yeah, we gotta keep it real. We want that absolutely, man, We appreciate you spend time with us. Man, Thank you go greedy brother. That's absolutely appreciate. The Kobe women, everybody. Hey, look, we're gonna we're gonna keep this thing moving. I mean we got Cay Holiday. No about look Steve Smith, Yeah we got next. Yeah, after count that, we're gonna have

one. We don't have Town Holiday enjoyed it. So how about that one of my loyal subscribers. Hey, Steve Kee's standing there like he want to get on. He does. We gonna, Hey, Carol, you here, welcome, w Cow gets set up. You got right up there, hold it up to you. Yeah. Cal Holiday joins the show. Welcome to this asparta cow once again. How you doing. Yeah, we're gonna pull that up up there, you guess now, Count Hey, uh,

I just saw your father here minute ago. He said hello, and then he told me that you probably could kick his ass at least you know that. Yeah, oh yeah, hold it all the way up to you. Yep, there we go. Yep. Good. Hey, look we're all about real, live, real lives, real, we're real here school.

Yeah. So Kyle, talk about what Spartan fans saw today in a kind of regular practice format, not your typical spring game that we've you've been a part of prior to our coach d to talk about what we saw out there, and then some of the positives that came out of up today leading into the summer summer program. It's just a good things, right. Yeah, so we still we still came here. Oh speaking loud, speak up loud.

Oh you're thinking out take me loud up in here? Yeah, go ahead, you speak a loud as a live that you gotta improvise sometime, right, the same thing, man's football. But like I saw you today, come in on a on a blitz where you I don't know if it's the blitz or not, but I think you've laid up my man. Uh snel Hopper Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, what happened there? Is it? Playing downhill? Hold on? Is it? Is it? Is it? Not? Set? Is it? Is it? Check? Night?

Check? Hello? There we don't go, Yeah, there we go. We're playing man and stuff. So I just turned zone. It's kind I saw. Yeah, I'm just ending up in my favorite right now. Yeah. So you told us you're like, you're not flashy? You don't you don't do you talk trash? If somebody talked trash, I just let your play talk. Yeah, I talked to myself when I talk to anybody else in the field. All right, So what do you What do you tell yoursel It's usually not very good. It's not very good. I'm usually very

hard on myself. Yeah, it's like, come on, cow, Yeah, what do you what do you do? You call yourself in third person? Or you tell yourself much name? I just dropped that I shouldn't say. I got to dropped a couple of words that you shouldn't say. Oh lot, why not? You know? Family here but a count. So you're looking at the open body, the overall body of work for Misigan State this spring. How do you think you guys stand in these fifteen practices? You get better as a unit? Yeah, I think we got a lot

better as a unit. I think that we just communicated better and became more confident, and we've been able to like work on little things and make sure that we got better and focus on things and just get better every day. Definitely, definitely, so mint. I'd ask the same question that Jacobe is, after you just finished Saturday spring game, what's your mental state of like one you're gonna focus on school or like decompressed get ready for the fall,

summer and summer program. It's just nice singing out on the schedule because we've been off every day's five six o'clock. Yeah, just getting to the subbies by seven. Get to just step back from football once in a while, and folks on school now because I need with the grades up, make sure passing everything to call. I'm coming ready for the summer to just work on. Definitely, definitely. We love it. Man, Before we let you go, I mean, just I see here your father's in the chat.

Gregory Holiday said, just remember your sister was the last to kick your ass. Is this true? This is? Oh? No, gotcha, she said, gotch That's awesome man. I love it. Man. Oh, look, we appreciate you spending time with us. I know you do some stuff for it, but the luck to you next season. We'll be talking to you, man. Yeah, get them guys going in the summer, all right, Brother, thanks Dal Hallen. Yes, sir, all right, So look, I mean otis is I look around. I mean those

are two great linebackers. I mean you look at the defense today. It was extremely fast. It seemed like they were together. Uh you know, missing ten players on defense that didn't perform in the spring game. That's a lot for the level of talent that I was able to see out there. I'm I'm looking forward to what Scotty Hamston the company are gonna be able to

do come to fall. Yeah, and I think the main keys that everybody wants to know is that it is our secondary improved or is it revam more so, because you got guys that got two young safeties yeah, freshmen by the way, Yeah, Mango's about to be a sophomore. Ma leaksa two freshman. Yeah. You got guys like they say, Malice Spiser is that guy who leads the team. And you've got Dialtatum who you know. We

talked to Dark Wesden on the sideline. He was saying that dark, uh Dal Tatum was a guy who is physical smart and you need a solid corner to be able to be able to detect things and things are coming their way and we still had one of our reserves guys and our our senior guys, and and Chuck Bradley, who is nursing an injury, is gonna be in therapy and getting ready for the fall season. But I did like what we

saw who was dressed, You saw things. You saw our guys getting to the backfield quicker, which is is good because like we didn't get we didn't get any hits on the QB last fall and that many sacks. So let's turn that time to where we talked about that rose ball team, right, Yeah, fly on, no fly zone. You knew when they slept on the field what it was about business and gets smacking them out. And I think that's where they're seeing that they gotta take that mantra and that mentality and

and and attack that every day question. Man, we talk about the coverage. If you can cover on the back end, it gives those defensive linemen a little bit longer linebackers to get home, which is getting that quarterback down.

We want to be able to put pressure on quarterbacks and if they're worried about throwing the ball and turning it over, they're gonna hold on to it a little longer, which costs the sacks, which then creates more opportunity to the offense's which we can talk about next, and we talk about Chrisister State offensively. Everybody wants to talk about the quarterbacks, and we'll get to them.

But the running backs look promising today when you look at Nate Carter, Jalen Berger and also Jaron Mango. Yeah, we Jared Mingo ram pass me and this guy is a big running back. Yeah mind Jinchu to you, I'm gonna tell him that is probably excited. You see somebody's gonna be back. I can tell I think we're gonna have a one two three touch. You got a fast guy, you got a guy who's a combo guy.

That a guy is the power guy that has his speed. So I'm looking to see who's gonna take the next step of like how do they share the rotation? But he also had the issues with the jaylen Berger and Hussar last year. It's like they never could get in that grial rhythm and the rhythm. So how much are you gonna let them allow them to get in that rhythm before you rotate it and get the game script or a players on the

game strip. Yeah, that's true. I mean, in Nate Connor, everybody's been wanting to see how he was gonna be as a player today, and smart fans got a tend to see how fast he was. You know. Seem like Dolphins line played really well for him when he was in there. I mean, the guy you know, has a nice burst and able

to pick up big chunk yardage when you need it. Absolutely. You know, you always want to see guys get to the mid level when they break that front line, and then get to the midline when the linebackers are able to make a move and get to the secondary because once you get to the secondary, you're gonna have solid guys to be able to tackle you and get you down. And so I think it was good. It was a good

motivating factor of what we got going into the summer. And uh, it's all gonna get better because now you're gonna put weight on, You're gonna get faster, you eat, you get you get tied to rest in between your workouts. Yea, and what school is done, the finals are done, Uh we'll be we'll be able to see what we got going on the summer leading into the fall camp. Oh. Hold up question. I mean you get some rest, You're right, I mean you heard from Cal Holliday here.

You get a chance to focus on grades, which is not something they don't do all the time. But they have less time in the football building in that practice now, which is always a welcome thing for football players when the spring closes, you know, talking about the quarterbacks. Now, we saw Peyton Thorn, we saw Nord Kim, and we saw Kyton Housing. How do you think those three quarterbacks there today? Otis's It was tough to

to do an assessment there because you're not in a game like situation. And I think that's what we need to see, is like our quarterbacks are making decisions in a game life situation. This see some team, but it wasn't as like I say, elevated like one hundred percent. I did see each quarterback make two solid throws. I think everyone wants to know is how quickly are the decision making when things are coming every which way? And how do

we get the ball out quick enough? And I think that's where everybody's looking. Can we move the offense in the tempo consistently? Just you didn't see anybody take us leap in the competition row because it was a scripted spring game practice. So I think summers it's gonna be our detectic factor. Detecting factor there. I think you're right. I mean, all three quarterbacks show positive

signs of things. You know. You look at Peyton Thorn. I mean, he's the guy that's been there in the position for two years now. He has the mental, the jump mentally on preparation for the teams that are coming up. He understands how it is. You look at a kim elusive in the pocket a guy it seems to be very accurate. Actually through the game winning touchdown pass, said saying Tony Ogates Junior in the back corner of the end zone there on the nice state, which was beautiful that you saw

Kayden Houser. The on talent is undeniable from him and seeing what he's able to do throwing through tight windows. He can get the ball downfield like you want to stretch of defense. So I mean it's going up. This competition is definitely going into camp. It may go into the first couple of games of the season. I mean the question is do you really want that? If you really want where we're gonna we don't know who it is, but

someone's gonna get the start. I feel like it's like a Hard Knocks fall camp where you had a rookie quarterback man you had a vet and that basically say hey, we're gonna go with the rookie. And it's not just it's intense, but like for you as a Spartan, we're fans and a loves now and we're immedia, but like Stan point of what are you feeling that decision making should be when you do name a starter? Can we give another

opportunity faul Camp not to go in with a starting quarterback? Or we're gonna, like last week, right in the week of, we're gonna say, hey, he's our guys. I think they're gonna go into the season honestly, because you have Central Michigan, then you have Richmond. I think you're

gonna see multiple quarterbacks play in those two games. Now when Washington comes to town, and it's gonna be Michael Pennick Junior, a guy who has one in Spartan stadium as an Indiana who's your quarterback beat Michigan State last year at home in Washington is now coming here to East Landson again you need to have a quarterback because it's gonna be a duel of quarterbacks. They come in with a high powered offense, so I think it's gonna be then when you can

really see. But everybody can play well in seven off seven. Some guys even play good in practice with the red jersey. It's totally different when the live bullets are flying around in front of thousands of tens of thousands of fans and you're on national television, which every game mischister state is so in my OPI, and you know, yes, what you like to have us start?

I'd like to have a start the name now. But seeing where things are, I just don't see there being a clear cut person that's gonna say, Okay, he's the guy before summer and into the fuck because they need to be sure. These coaches want to be sure and out of this mark nation once a winner they do. We talk about like he's from last season to spring so to summer training. It's like we need to figure out which one of our transfers and which one of our incoming freshman additional guys that are

gonna make some impact. We saw Jordan Hall. Jordan Hall is the guy that you have. He's a dude. Listen. Is as simple as that, he's a dude. Who Jordan Hall. I think he's in He's in the building. He's in the building. He's in the building. Now we talk about some other guys and we got people, got the kids there also, I see my roommate behind you with this. Uh now one of the fastest corners I've been playing with. I played again, so I played with But it's just Jordan. Hey, man, come over here. Man,

you've been on the show before. I come on, have a seat over there, manor we're gonna talking about the spring. Okay, So look, we got Jordan Hall joining the show. Everybody, are we good? Another property? Mama, mama, you come over here to come over here to they don't have to be in the background. Look, Jordan, Jordan stepped on campus. When did you. Let's talk about it when you stepped on campus earlier in ro league and get the good video, get aditioning, now

you got spring. Talk about that whole transition and how you feel it right now? Put the way there you go. Who's a Who's a very long process in my hot hand January and he's going from meeting conditions too black. I've seen this progression and talk louder too talk because you got people be hiding. I've just been progressing these practice and just continuing to get better these practice. Okay, man, look you look good out there today. I saw

you making plays. You're running sideline, the sideline, like, what was it like playing for your first time really in front of some fans. It wasn't a full cell yet, but in Spartan Stadium for the first time. It was a great experience for me. I honestly, it wasn't expecting that the crowd to be that big, so walking in there and just seeing the love and support from from all the fans are really humbling experience. But it didn't last long, you know, I got to focus up. But I

definitely something off on this exercise. And it's always nice having Mama Hall, Mama Hall there home. Did you get a Mama Holl home cooked meal once you got here? Not yet, it's gonna be. It's happening tonight tomorrow. Yeah, the whole cook mill. What's his favorite mill? Anything? I could anything? She could? Thank you? All right, take care of all right, listen to holiday. There's listen holiday, everybody. So now it's over. What do you think you need to focus on going into

the summer. Obviously finishing school because that farting is coming up, but like summertime, summer workout program, what you're gonna focus on, uh, working on my fework. Well, I want to focus mostly on that during the summer that we got a mother. So I just want to you know, stronger, force, faster, become more physical. That's hey, you chos on a plane. You had the Memphis to to broadcast the game from the US side book and he says, Jordan Jordon Hall implussed me today. He

was on the field watching you. You know, like, what does it feel like they have so many people who played before that are giving you compliments? Is they go to your head? Doesn't seem to you seem to be like I figured in tried man, Like what is that like? I mean, it's great for me. I tried not to let it get to my

head. I try to just receive the positive feedback and it's a hundred thing from me pers especially when it's somebody taking the time out to you know, kee under the We have a bunch of great players, not even just on our team, but just in my position. In general, so being you know, kind of wanting to feel like somebody's watching integrate experience for me, and humbling EXPANSI for sure, we love you and we gotta hear from you. We gotta here for Mama Hall for a minute, and Mama Yeah,

I'm like just say, hey, just see how you do it. Thanks, Jordan, appreciate you. Don't go far, just stay with it. Yeah, while Mama is getting set up here. Yeah, you know all the sudden the maturity, ah man, I mean I wanted to ask him because like, as a freshman, this ain't a technical pressman, No, like this, this is what freshman looks like. Like if you put my picture with Jordan Hall coming as a freshman, it's like a pencil versus like

this is a crafting man from the Lord himself. Right, God's bless this man, and I think he's gonna have a great cold man and just keep up. Keep the baby cry comes into the fall to keep it up. Good job man, And look you talk about the sculptor from God. This is one of the probably main reasons like in Mama Hall, how was it being here today after traveling and seeing your baby performed in Spartan stadium for the first time. It was really really it was yeah, just seeing everybody.

Do you do you journey back to Like when he started, we asked this question. He was on the show The Journey of Young Jordan's to now College Jordan's like running out there with the uniform? Was it like a week we made it feeling or like talking about that feeling just to step for Seeing him finally hit that green field, it was like the we made it feeling house and he was like, okay. Seeing him out there today was just like, oh, here we go. How many calls do you get from here?

Down there? Is the homesakey? Good? All right? Good? Are you breathing? Yeah? I gotta do better. My mom does the same thing. I gotta do better. Yeah, okay, that's awesome. I mean, because you transitioned from IMG to school like this, it's not easy because he's been gone. He's been away for at least like three and a half years already before this, and I know you like having your baby around, but it's got to be comforting to know that he's been through this

before and is able to just keep picking instride because there's other players. I'm sure other freshmen that may be struggling that he can help. He's done really well. It was just you know, like I am I mean here, it's like I got you know, if I'm understanding the question, if it's just you know, coming to year, if it was, it was just like regularly for him. Yeah, he was ready to go. Do you what to do? Like the prep school format as you for this like this

is yeah, well our question. And so you know, I know that you got in the stadium probably like I think there was early that was the rumor out there. They said that you know, no one wasn't not in, but Mama Halls, you were the first one that got a fifty yard mind set. You don't know how it happened. We were just like walking around the stadium and we saw the super security people and he was like, I just want to know, like how do we get in here? We

just want to know ahead of time, like where do we know? And he was like the guy was like, wait a minute, on home, Yeah, oh you can go in right there. Awesome, man, absolutely, ma'am. We'll find the door and you can just go on up. Just like with drawn up. Everything starts until like twelve thirty and he was like, it's okay. I mean, come on nothing. I'm like, it's my house now. That's awesome. It's good seeing you here. Obviously Jordan playing m two. It's everybody. Oh, we gotta get to sign.

That's that's legendary. That's got to sign the bus. No, thank you for joining. Appreciate that. Absolutely. It wasn't too bad man, all right, I know you like to the fine jobs. May thank you, Thank Jordan, appreciate you. I mean, look, man, you talk about this is freshman. No one messed with Mama Hall. Look at that Mama Hall. Let us see Mama Hall on the show. And then

we love this. It's awesome, Oi. I mean, look a lot of festivities going on around here today as we covered her already softball, baseball rowing five K and then you know, remember we're into Chicho. I don't know, like we seen him roam in the streets earlier, and you know, this is a Fieldhouse event and we kept walking by ricks like he just couldn't. We're like, listen, no you get I don't know. We have a picture. I'm jay you ah, well yeah, I like that.

We we masked the hearts with his uh, his Salmon Teler think you cut off listen they you is you know, he's a legendary for keeping rix like that is his most loyal spot, Like you should just my equity. He got shirts, he got hats, he's in I l but Fieldhouse is where we had to help. Actually, here's the spot, there's the place to be. We got athletes coming here. Uhlik Malik Khan, he's walking

around here. That's a that's a big dude. Like then you see that, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's tight end for you right there. I mean, there's there's there's a lot of really bright spots. Look look look at thought he was good. He's trying to eat duck out here and eat. They got to talk into that back loud real yep, Yep, that's good. Yep, that's good. But keep it up there right there.

Yep. We've been talking about you obviously. Then now the leading tight end like starting because you was sharing some time, but this is your job right where we talked about the spring, like talk about your experience this spring because last year he was doing some that little basketball. Uh and this is your first year where you're able to truly focus on football. But like talking about the spring and like what we look to expect the summer and leading to

the next fall. As far as they put up there there, it was really good education. Really yeah, okay, just so smarter like you're the play knowing the playbook. You knew the playbook, but knowing like how you fit in and make sure you get to your route to know everybody see that. That's smart. That's what you gotta know. Yeah, coming from some everybody's just getting in shape, you know, better shape already. Yeah.

Oh you should speak up to keep speaking up. Yeah I know, yeah, yeah, yeah, Like I'm screaming that thing, so I still gotta screaming this. But yeah, but as far as the summer goes, everybody just behap. You know, we already ship right now. But to keep going on the track I'm going on right out? Yeah, what are the best? Yeah, and that's what you're gonna do. Definitely talk about the tidy end, like culture of like what is a missed the state's tight end?

Body make now, like what's your what's the mission for that that that room? Because I know you got a block and when you're out there, you know you want to I know you, I know you like to go catch the ball. But you got to be fitting in the blocking scheme too. But what's what are they required in a tight end? Mississ state? Right now, you gotta do everything. If our coach calls us the ars,

you know you gotta do everything. You definitely somebody definitely definitely they look look look so you have a lot of God given gifts right to play this game, right, you can play obviously other sports in your opinion, what is one thing that you need to work on in order to be the best players you could possibly be? As fars like athleticism goes and the field, I think I'm the right track is more like ship. We're being vocal all

the time and never go in turn. Just sometimes you focus on your teammates to be better. Yet that was that was what we gonna expect from the Elite car in the fall last season. So this season coming up with what we're about to expect, bro, we just have fun. It's not rocket science, right, Okay, your job got definitely definitely, But yeah, man, we appreciate you because I know you're about to head out and eat that food. So basic to spend time man, and like the Leak's mom

is the but she's president of the Prayer stuff. Yeah yeah, team of his whole life. Got you. But we appreciate you. Man, we got a chance to meet your family, So thank you for at least spending before your head out to get some food. I appreciate you. Yeah, thank you, thank you appreciated lenklenkr everyone, thanks for joining the show. Thanks for joining. This is SPATA all day long. I mean, like like I'm losing power over here. We got yeah, look look here,

it's stumping right in there, making sure you sign that bus. Don't forget that. Yeah. See Peggy, Peggy is mom. Doctor Peggy is the president of the Players Association. Players parents, parents. That's what it is. Specifically. You know, I gotta have a tatum. The tams are here. We gotta have one tatum, Like, come on over here, Dan, you gotta get over here and join the show. Man. I mean you've been you're in the tat all the time. You gotta come over

here and get in here. And when you're fit heads. Yeah, yeah, that's it. So look we go. All our players was speaking like they didn't never yelled on the field, So you gotta yell, yes, get your coach voice. That's what we need you've been here us in area. Go ahead, I'm okay, okay, you here? Hello? Can you can you hear us? Can you hear it? We're getting in here there you go. Yeah, that's what it is. And this is my coach's voice. Can everybody hear me? See? You gotta touch our guys

and they came on to be loud. You gotta project, Yeah, to project your voice. That's what you want. All the kids in here there you're looking look and then that's your cameras. You're looking there when you're talking about look like I said, you know miss tatle twenty one, right, we're talking about I've talked to Dylli multiple times. They call it the twenty

one club. Clearly I was twenty one. It's been a while for someone wearing twenty one as like fully embracing him, like making some players out there, right, But like your son stepped up in that Penn State game when we had some injuries and talk about did you get a call from where he knew he was gonna get that starting job? Like talk about that. I can't recall the exact game, but yes, he didn't know when the dance was really good. Exc he's been sitting back and watching and waiting for his

turn and working hard. We maxt year it is ready, ready to go. He stills a long hard of course. I mean you can sing the game, you kind of settle down to it, you're up there. But at the end of the day, I mean he's an athlete. Go out there, Jr. Child and support your team. That's really you do your job, worry about yourself. And then everything happened. Yeah, yeah, yeah, because you know, you talk about the spring and then I feel like he is, he's a patient guy and he wants to, you know,

to happen now. For like, how was his frame leading into uh today, what you saw on the field, Well today he didn't play because of the injury in right now, but I mean he's locked in. He's locked in one hundred and that on the field, in the classroom, and just doing whatever else it takes to take this entire team to the next level. To all the guys out here. You have to be all around. You can't just say I'm gonna play football. You have to embrace everything.

This is your moment in time. You have four years and that's it. So you stepped four You're representing everybody from your hometown lead by it, and every time you meet him it's very what it's very oh man eyes, he's very aware. Man, what's going on? That's w He's await that's what's which is great. You know, So this is is this your second spring game? Yes? Because last year yeah so k so, so this is your second time going around with this thing now? Right, So he didn't

play in this game. I know that it was. He's got a little something he's dealing with, but he'll be fine, nothing to worry about. But looking at his progression as a dad, right, you knowing that what you've been telling him is like coming through. I don't know if it like sometimes I know parents probably don't see it, but do you see that he's growing yourself? Well, how do you feel about where Dylan is right now

as a player. Well, one thing that kind of surprised it was he was like, Dad, it's just taking in two months and him being and he's like Dad, everything is right here at my finger tips. I have no excuse to succeed. So this is just a matter of time. It's not it's kind of different smart exclaims. But now he's like coming out a little bit, like introverted a little bit, but it's a little bit. But now he's getting time, he's getting played. Man, he understands he's

locked in the book exactly be done. You can't make it up. And once you we all know, once you invisit things. Speaking to Ali, absolutely that's true visualization. Your brain doesn't really know the difference whether or not it's really done it or not. So if you think it positive things things will happen positively for you. So if he's a guy who seems to get that more than your average freshman that's out there. I mean, to your point, we talk about every sporting evam, I'm at here, every one,

bring one like it don't matter, like the basketball. He's there, and that's what you think about, Like he's enjoying the whole experience and the holistic approach to be have a student athlete's I caught it because it's like to your point, you get here, you break it is done. And that's what we always looking at that man back in my day, back in my day here like, oh my god, he was But then and I heard you could throw down on the brill and everything else. So my dad saying

like, we don't have a put it off. You haven't set up that situ Michigan game. While they played them cook off, they take them cook off? Did that come over there? We're gonna do Let me just let me just let me just make it okay. My goal is just to provide the things needed right for everybody. The half fun. I am not saying you throw down. I mean I mean he's snowballs all POSSI playing possible and

he's like, I don't want to stick to I'm not. And everybody was very pleased on what we did last season, and we planned to do it again this season. So yes, bring them all. Well, yeah, it's smalling from the parents have to have I know we need to bring our former parents to join with the current. Yes, kids are going us in a family man snay spotting dogs too. Yeah, absolutely, thank you. You do your support here. He appreciate your brother, all right. Man.

I feel like we gotta get my roommate on the ons. We gotta get Ross on. He's write a song ross Ship right here. Mans weavering man, bring him to man, bring him to pring little man. It's been room mate, MANI roommate like you can hear it. You can hear me talking to you and ask you a question to just all right, you just be good, but speak of a keep it right here, speak good

like I said, Eastern Eastern speed. Uh yeah, Ross Man Wills Weave at number thirty seven love me and me and Ross came to campus together in our freshman year. One of the fastest most physical corners that I played with. This is my brother for life man, but one is you know, well, welcome back to campus. Yeah, welcome. I know you come here like you come in real quick, like boom back to the east side.

Tell us what we got here with you, Ross, Well, we got my son, Ross junior year, who we just been on a little father son time here. Yeah, I get the perfect time frea him up here spring game. Absolutely absolutely, he came in hand taking everybody right, Ross O, you brought him back and once you were you just looking at like practice for a minute. It was just tough. Well, I actually

got here little late and everything was good. Oh god, just you know here in the update you talk with the radio and just normal people's comments work. You know, you can only uh you can only help them be excited. Yeah, yeah, so you get the fields when you drive back to cancer, like man's gonna go back to where I grew up as a young man, or you became a man when you got here. But if you get excited or like you see all the new developments because we've knowne that we

had had this. We were here very jealous, very jealous restaurants and they don't have to doings like us. When you slept on beings, I felt like concrete, totally different apartments. They got the sleep number mattresses. We didn't have alcabolic chambers all like yeah, yeah, look, you watched you watched football last season, but our season being in the secondary, knowing what it looks like, what did they need to do to get back onto the

other side of the page here? Or we know we're coming out with all and that we're competing and this is the secondary alone because this is where I like to fuck big offensive lot. So I don't get a chance when I got to be yeah, yeah, I can die. I want to know what's idea about this and being like played in the league, understanding what it's still look like. How can we get better in this offseason? Right now? I honestly think we have the guys. You just need to effect the

communication you can shall when watching the game. If the guys don't look like this communication to each other from the outside looking in, it's like, oh, another dude got beat. But like I believe that was the suication. You know, I think, you know, look like a certain thing. Yeah, the corner of the finding to THEA from the corner, and that's what I think that we can really stop our game. Like there's a couple of times me and him, he looking back for me and looking back to

him. He's like, that's going on. Man, he's on the top. They'll be like, lock it up, you know what I mean. But that's what Doc Crust said on the sideline of the day when they to interviewed him and he asked him what does he think about the defensive back He said, I think because he's with them daily, and he said, I think they need to just get out of their head and play with them themselves and just play, you know. And that's one thing. That's the thing.

You're right, because when Layman, even anybody who play other positions, we don't know what the hell's going on with the coverage just because we don't know the call so it may look like somebody got beat, but it's really not his fault necessarily, right, So when you see good defensive play, defensive play, there's a lot of talking. You can tell the talking communicating guys are movement and adjustice because there's a lot to see out there. Now.

As a former player, what do you think about how there's the NIL transferred portal, all these things that really you guys didn't have to deal with that these players now have to deal with. I mean, they're signing autographs here today for money, but I think if you do it the right way, it could be fun. But what do you think about it to the game? And I half off the coaches because you have a different side of

the people that have to deal with if you ever manage. You know, even for high school coaches from college station, they're looking at players more. Now we're walking into money. You know, it's a different dynamic. And then when they come into college, you have more to think about than just your grave about winning. That's what you also you want the players to think

about. I'm happy for the players, and I just hope that every university who gets an opportunity to have the n I L deal but they'll surround the players with the right people in the right programs to the handle it and manage them. Yeah, that's answer. We always ask if we had n I L what would have been your first deal? What were your ideals the ideal

deal? If you was like, I would love to be an ambassador for what that's a good question about it, Rick, you would have me look about, saying, Wendy for me, probably the engineering building in there all day every day, man, That's yeah, I would. I would come home and be like roll roll, oh, man, I'm in the engineering buildings like I don't see them. So we wake up in the water from

the workout. Wow, that could even be a hard question. Plus former player, because we've never been Yeah, never had to think about it. We never had to think about that. So honestly, I probably even took any deal came. Yeah. We also worked together at the uh what's what's the place down? And remember the front front ground they had Remember that, man were painted the whole pool, painting the whole You guys are doing like we are. Manual label were working. This is like we had to work.

Yeah, and we were in a factory making still wing gears. Guys losing fingers. It's terrible. I said, you know, I knew what I didn't want to listen, that's what I wanted as the clean curves. I was like, no, man, that's when I drawed. I was like, I was like, I'm done with this. Yeah heard Shampoor curves and what Yeah, he took off on. He took off on. Man, he did like a year and a half. I'm out, man,

out of the he knew, he knew how to do the work. He wasn't about that manual label and then going into the running we had to work because that Yeah, yeah, but that stuff like that hells players with and I players not to fish the job because you don't know what come with their background is at home with more homes and give the opportunity. I like that part about it. I'm happy for the guys now man, if they're able to do it. So man, it's great. It's great seeing you jump

back to campus. Always here Ross Jr. In the house. Don't forget the name Ross Junr. Ross leaving Jr. Yeah, listening, we don't bring this up. When he signed right right, appreciated look a great shown this is. We had a good bus behind us. When it came to the crowd control. But if the rain stops and now we've got a good weather. Oh no, Now, now it's kind of you know, I have a problem too, and uh, you know, soak in what we saw this weekend as the spring football comes to a close. Now this is

the state transitions down to get those finals done. Everybody, make sure that you get all that you're on schedule to do the right things there and then int the summer workhouse before Paul Camp opens up. I'm sure we're gonna have more athletes on the show as we continue. This is part of m s U. And you know, Jay, you being on the sign that you know, I like it showing for people out there on the bus talking about the legendary bus. There's a bus so if you see that around, uh,

definitely give a holler. I'm trying to stop it. But with our questions, man, we did have a ball to bab for Jay. You who's on assignment headed to Memphis right now. And otis Wiley.
