Had a great time talking to Kurt about his history in the restaurant industry. Traveling the world, learning an teaching others. Before returning to OKC to open 30+ restaurants. He is currently at VAST, 179-seat restaurant and bar with multiple private dining rooms, including a Chef’s Table and Lounge, situated on the 49th floor of Devon Energy Center. Kurt and his team of professionals are building on the restaurant’s success over the past five years and taking Vast to the next level. By using local producers to add a more regional flair, Kurt believes Vast will become the dining gem of Oklahoma City. Kurt has operated over 30 different restaurants in Oklahoma over the last 30 years and travels around the world representing the Food of the Southern United States.
