When the mortality rate in the Neonatal Unit of the Countess of Chester Hospital increased, doctors pointed out that Lucy Letby had been the only one on shift during all the deaths. Management tried to brush it off as coincidence, but it wasn't long before they learned that the infants were intentionally being killed.
