Happy New Year, Prom Party! This week the wives are covering what should have been the most on-brand movie possible for this show, the Broadway hit turned Netflix Original THE PROM (2020).

Harmony confesses she doesn't follow the career of Ryan Murphy, BJ puts on her musical theatre snob glasses, both have some pretty strong feelings about James Corden playing a gay character, and the two discuss whether or not a film we have mixed feelings about can still be groundbreaking, important, or impactful.
