Transcript

Do you find it odd that every year when you live in Fresno, when summertime rolls around, it's always everyone acts surprised when it's one hundred and ten. It does suck. I mean, yeah, I've been especially for me, I've been born and raised in this weather is always a shock when it's like damn, we're here again, or for me, I mentally prepare for it. Yeah, but it still sucks. You know what I've been doing

purposely when I go to the gym. After the gym, I go to the sauna, and of course the sauna is good for your health benefits. Yeah, but one of my reasons, like really in my head, I tell myself, I'm doing this to prepare for summer. Okay, so you're gonna get used to the heat. Yeah, And it's kind of been working because a couple of days ago it's one ten and I was like, yeah, I mean it's not bad. I feel like for the most part during this time of year, since kind of like you said, you just expected

coming, so I just I know. So I stay inside a lot, Yeah, and I blast my ac same. I actually like sacrifice during the wintertime. I don't really use my heater it doesn't get super cold out here, at least I don't think. And then once that stummer rolls around, I blast the AC So I feel like, you know, my PG kind of balances itself out. And by the way, we go to the same gym. The gym is always cool inside though, so I can't appreciate that.

And then you know, I'm just I'm never mad at getting an extra sweats However, it does suck when you're dressed up and you're doing stuff and you're sweating, Like, I fucking hate that shit. But yeah, to your point, like it's not like a surprise, but yeah, it's kind of funny how people act like, yeah, it's re reso. We know, happens every summer. I mean, you just got to do things to

keep yourself cool. But yeah, I remember when, you know, when I didn't have my assistance and with my team, and I would have to go out to do the events during this time. Yeah, so I'm glad I have a team now and I haven't send them out. Yeah, I haven't had to go out, which I'm super happy about that. Yeah, funny you said that I actually haven't had any outside events. Yeah, I don't think I have anything coming up. I know, Yeah, I don't

have anything. I think that's been our thing where every year we just tell each other just stay indoors as much as we can. Yeah, except for like the pool parties and all that stuff. You know, you go out for the most part. Yeah, we just stay in the studio as long as we can. The only time I'm out is when you know that walk from my car to the gym, from my car to my home. That's

the only time that I'm really outside. And then here in the studio, we don't pay for PG and E, and I'm one that takes advantage of that. I hate when coworkers are like, it's too cold, put it back up, and I'm just like, as soon as you walk outside that door, that one hundred degree weather's gonna slap you in your face and you're gonna wish that you had this ac that you don't have to pay for. So I got that thing like on sixty five right now, and it feels

cool in here. It's yeah, it's pretty cold right now in the studio, so I'm not mad that I'm wearing a sweaters and well also I want to wear like you know, I like wearing sweaters. Man, take that shit off. Well, it's in here right now. Oh. So, like I just said, you're gonna wish you had that freezing No, it's comfortable in here. I mean I like it cold because I have the sweater on. I think if I didn't have the sweater on, i'd be freezing. Oh I don't have a sweater on. So we we just got two

different bloods. Did you see If you guys follow me on Instagram. This was a few weeks ago, but I posted on Instagram where the power went out in the downtown area, the whole downtown area, and I was knocked out sleeping and I woke up like at eleven and just sweating, and it was all dark, and I'm like, fuck, the power is out. And I decided I knew it wasn't gonna come on anytime soon, so I left and I just at eleven PM drove to the radio station, hung out

here, looked up the pgene website. It said like three and a half hours before it gets fixed. And I just kick, you're by myself at midnight. Hasn't this happened to you in the past? I think, Yeah, maybe I don't remember where I went though, did you go to a hotel? I think so. I think I got a hotel. That's a lot. I remember you telling me that it's actually never happened to me, thankfully. It's happened like kind of during the day where I was out and

about anyway, so it didn't matter. But I've never had a situation where it happened at nights. And if that happens, I don't know what I would do. I might end up taking a page out of your book and coming to the radio station and maybe setting up shop up in here, because that's just that's uncomfortable. I mean, I sleep with the ac on the ceiling fan on, and I also have like another fan, so I sleep like I like it cold. I have a friend that also lives in downtown.

They told me they just they just slept through it, and I was like, wow, man, wow, yeah fuck that. I can't do that. Yeah, man, Fresno summers, I mean, it is what it is. Let's just knock it out three months. Then we're back at the beautiful fall weather. This could give me fire podcast? What up on Jizzo? That is John Magic? And we are back all right, an episode where it's just you and I. Yeah, I think we're in a round up guest again, maybe even next month. We'll go next month,

we'll have like guests every week again. Yeah, we have some people on our list that we need to schedule, but you know, sometimes scheduling gets kind of hard and difficult. But so for today, it's just us too. It's been a while though. There are people that leave me comments on the DM saying I prefer this right, well not Yeah, they just say they enjoy it. They also enjoy it, So maybe that's a good thing

that we just do both, you know. So yeah, all right, So we were talking about this a week or so ago because it kind of came out big news and we haven't touched on it, and it's a common thing that's happening with a lot of places. Yeah, Red Lobster, it came out that they wanted to shut down a bunch more restaurants following its bank

I think they wanted to do like fifty more or something. I was actually looking on this list because I've been trying to figure out if the Fresno Red Lobster was going to be one of them, and so far it looks like no safe. Yeah, so far but I mean, we know, right, eventually maybe yeah, we'll have to wait and see. But yeah, a lot of people were kind of going in on this. I mean, personally, I've never really been a big fan of Red Lobster. However,

there was it the Cheddar biscuits. The Cheddar biscuits. Man, and I got a shout out with Trevor Carrey because every time he goes, because we've had this conversation in the hallways about him, he actually brings me one and he literally, yeah, he literally brought me one. I think it was earlier this week. He brought me one, and I was like, he's like, man, every time I go, like, I think of you, and he brought me a bistic biscuit. And yeah, I enjoyed it

because you brought it up to him before. Yeah, we had talked about it before that. You know that their biscuits just be smacking. And so ever since I've said that, he's brought me one every time that he goes. Well, then I said that story a few episodes ago about Bobby Bell when I first moved to Fresno almost twenty years ago. Yeah, or maybe

it has been twenty years sheesh. Where when I first moved here. That was the lunch spot they both took me to, and yeah that you know, that was red Lobster is like a big part of my Fresno thing, even though you're I haven't been there in quite a while too. But I think I've I want to say, maybe in my entire life, maybe three or four times. Honestly, Yeah, I just it's never really my thing. I will say this till the very first time I tried lobster pizza.

Have you ever had that? Yeah? It sounds worse than it is. I got it there and I was like, you know what, this lobster pizza. There's actually something about it. I don't know why. People have told me they're like, no, you gotta try lobster pizza. And I saw that they had it and I got it, uh, And I was just like, man, I mean mackin lobster anything sounds no. Right, Yeah, I've had lobster pizza. But have you had that lobster not chosen

that Disney California Adventure. No, I haven't. That actually could be pretty good. No, it's it's it's smacks. What is it? Food? Smacks and music slaps? Yeah? Yeah, but yeah, maybe You're right, lobster is just anything. But I mean, this one's going to be open at least, you know, for the near future. It's almost like we should we take advantage of it while it's here. I know, h go get me some cheddar biscuits. Yeah. Man, Well, we wanted

to talk about it. Like I said earlier, it's a common thing that's happening because of where the world is right now. So many places are closing or have closed or yeah, or it is getting ready to close. Now, would you say that this kind of the process got sped up because of the pandemic. Would you say that that was like played a big part in a lot of these businesses closing up shop going out of businesses? I would think so. I mean my restaurant, we ended up selling it just because

prices were going up. And I could just imagine it makes sense because the rent of just having that space costs so much, and no one's going shopping anymore, no one's going out to eat anymore as much. Yeah, the you know, people's habits are changing. Yeah, it's a lot about you know, these delivery services like grub Hub. People kind of just want to like get that fast dropped off to them. You know, we've talked about

this in previous podcasts. Even when you go into restaurants now, they're sort of setting up as more of a to go spot or pick up spot rather than a sit down restaurant. To sit down restaurant vibe is kind of disappearing, and you know that are are our way of living. Sort of change and transition during the pandemic, so people's habits are different. I like, I'm a restaurant goer. I like going to restaurants. I did too, Honestly, it was you're just trying to say that you don't anymore. Yeah,

I don't. Like I was somebody that loved going to restaurants. I was kind of one of those, you know, Monday through Friday, like cook at home, eat at home, and then on the weekends like go to a restaurant. Yep. And I enjoyed it. But you know, the pandemic obviously that took like a back seat, and just the fact that you know things have changed, like quality went down, but prices went up.

Service got really bad because you know, they kind of just hire anybody because you know, a lot of people don't want to work because they don't want to pay, and they're just like so many it's all like a money factor. And I would see it and feel it in the restaurants and I was just like, you know what, just like ain't for me no more. I mean you got to find I agree with you, but you have to find the ones that you enjoy. I do. Like it's not like

I completely, you know, knocked them out. Yeah, Like there's still restaurants, like, you know, one of my favorite restaurants, he know Ouishi. I'll still go there, and I have like a handful that I kind of rotate through. But the days of me just going and like, oh what restaurant am I going to go today? Is just not my thing anymore. One restaurant that went out of business during the pandemic I think I think it was during the pandemic and it was one of my favorites and I

wish they would bring it back was A Sweet Tomatoes. Oh yeah, the salad buffet, salad pasta buffet man. That was one of my favorite spots. Honestly that I would probably still be going to that spot. I was still here, yeah, yeah, but it's not every time I went there. I never went for the salad you I went for the soup, the pasta they have, the little bit, the pizzas, that bread, there's that bread that you put butter on. Oh man, the free ice cream

at the end. Oh my gosh. I never went there for the salads. I just went for that other stuff they had it. They had some good stuff there and they went out of business, and I've just been like, man, that was such a good spot. But a buffet they actually used to be in Fresno years ago and is making a comeback. Did you hear about this Golden Corral? Oh? Yeah, I heard about that in

the news. Yeah, so it's coming. I think it's going to be over there in the Shaw and Brawley area where the old Hometown Buffet used to be. I think it's in that building that was a place I used to rock back as I was a kid. I used to go, and I've actually went a couple times because they have won in Bakersfield that I've went to on my way going to LA and my way coming back. And I don't know, I might check it out. I'm check it out when it comes

here. It's tough for me because, like you know, I'm I'm back on keto. Well, I was on keto maybe eighty percent of the time, but just as of late, i've been one hundred percent keto again, that's true. So yeah, it's so going out to restaurants. It's tough for me, but I know how to maneuver my way at restaurants where I can find something to eat. Yeah, yeah, real quick, that's sweet tomato things. Just a little fun fact because I saw it on TikTok.

This was maybe a few months ago. Oh they opened one, right, yeah, and Rancho Cucku Maonga they opened a similar one, but they basically it's the same but a different name. I've heard the name of it, Okay, but there's one out there, so you might have to make the drive of your feybe maybe because I heard it's like the same stuff. Real

quick, you brought up the prices. Yeah, you know, when we go to restaurants, the good ones, well you know, the sit down not you know, casual, fancy, whatever it is, you're gonna expect to pay like, let's just say, for two people, it'll be you're over one hundred bucks, damn easy. Yeah, well that's really bucks for a casual, you know, because then there's the drinks, appetizers, yeah, meal. It never felt like a hundred bucks, felt like it used

to be like sixty fifty maybe. Well, to be honest with you, just the past few years, a little bit over one hundred bucks. To me, it was a norm if it's for two, okay. But the thing, you know, what's fucking me yeah, man, you know what's been fucking me up lately is you go to a fast food drive through and you're ordering for two people and it's up to sixty bucks almost seventy Like yo, yeah, man. I noticed some people were pointing out things that like

McDonald's specifically because they been getting a lot of heat. Matter of fact, I read this research the other day and it was talking about the past ten years, so from twenty fourteen to twenty twenty four how much percentage these restaurants

have gone up, and they're pretty high, like savvy five percent. McDonald's in ten years has gone up one hundred percent, And a lot of people have been pointing out things like, you know, you can go to like let's just say, like a like an Applebee's or something, and it's like the same prices like a McDonald's, Yah's that's what I'm trying to say. I have McDonald's in like ten years, so it'd be crazy to me to

see those prices. And yeah, wow, do you think they have to well not, I don't even have to ask you if you think it's you know, it's the price is going up for rent probably and then that whole twenty dollars an hour. Yeah, yeah, that's definitely has a lot to do with it. I know that they're like sort of hearing people out because I think they're coming up with more like you know, five dollars meals or stuff like that. But yeah, the price is I mean one hundred percent.

That means that something costs like five bucks ten years ago, like that same items like ten bucks now. That's wild. And also what I'm seeing is the automated where you go in and there's only one register, but no one's there. Oh really, that's only there for emergencies. Maybe I don't know, but everyone. There's multiple Kiosk stations now at McDonald's. At McDonald's oh wow, and you could just order there well like an iPad or whatever.

Yeah, I mean they make it. It's a big kiosk, big screen, and then your food comes out, which to me, I mean, we live in the future. Like it's fucking technology. I embrace it. And by the way, I just saw this, not that I was eating McDonald but I have seen it. It does suck, you know, because obviously technology we want to grow and we want to go grow with technology. But it does you know, people do lose jobs in those situations. But it's just kind of one of those things where you just got to keep

up with the world. What's your opinion on the twenty dollars an hour for fast food workers because when I was a kid, yeah, working at Wiener snitzl in minimum wage in Rialito, California. Yeah, I think minimum wage back then was like nine bucks. Oh damn. That seems like a lot because I know some people they work full time jobs, they don't even get paid it's like twenty dollars an hour. But I mean shouts to you know, fast food workers. I know they work hard, so I'm not even

mad at them. But that's like only a California thing, right, Yeah, Okay, I'll say the same thing. You know what I'm not it's tough. It's because I'm kind of on the fence. What I mean by that is same with you. Congratulations shouts outs, and then for making this twenty dollars an hour. But I wonder if more people are getting fired because they're they want less live employees. And also as a consumer, it does make me not want to go spend sixty dollars on a McDonald's meal. Like,

yeah, so there's the give and take. Yeah, now they're getting bait twenty bucks, but they're gonna raise their prices, and you kind of lost me as a consumer that used to go all the time, but now I'm not. And I'm just speaking in general, not me personally. How

you been feeling about this, like Chipotle stuff that's been going on. You've been hearing about the right the portion sizes and then people bring out their phones and record Chipotle while they're scooping it, and so they get bigger scoops because they don't want to be put on blasts. Yeah have you. I haven't seen it in real life because I keto I could go to Chipotle. I haven't seen it yet. But I haven't seen it either. I just keep

seeing videos pop up on TikTok. They're really putting a lot more. Apparently it works because they're you know, people have gotten frustrated with the portion size at Chipotle, and so you know TikTok it always gathers people, and they were saying that, you know, record them, and if you're you're recording them, they're gonna make bigger portion sizes incause. Yeah, in case you're making a like a video. Yeah yeah, I mean that's smart of both

sides. That's smart for the con humor and smart for the business, like you know, make yourself look good. Yeah. I mean I haven't seen it because because I walk into Chipotle too, I usually just do like a pickup order. But apparently it works. So if you know you're going to Chipotle, you might want to bust at your phone or something and maybe get bigger portion sizes. Here's my thing with Chipotle that because back to me being on Keto, Chipotle is one of my spots that I can go to.

This is the thing that kind of irritates me, but obviously I don't say anything. So you know, if you're gonna get a regular bowl, it's the there's a certain cost for the bowl, but what can you put on there? You could put the rice, the beans, the meat, the veggies, you know, everything and then the extra is the guac for keto. All I'm getting is the veggies, the meat, cheese, sour cream and guaq. Yeah that's my bull order. But I'm not getting the beans.

I'm not getting the rice. Why can't I get more meat place of it? Because I'm I'm not taking money off the rice and beans. So essentially, what you're saying, and it makes sense, is the portion size of the entire bowl should be the same no matter how many toppings you get, right, Yes, Like if I'm getting just like two things, like, it still should fill up, right, Yeah those two things? Yeah, yeah, that makes sense. I think that's how it should be.

But should I say something? Should I make a video? Yeah? There you go right, taking your phone and start recording. How about stores? You want to talk about stores that are closing down? Yeah? What are some of the stores that we've been seeing in the news. Apparently this was a while ago, but so you were talking about the gym. We go to the GB three and I go to the one on Palm and Nice, and on my way back home sometimes I'll stop by. There's a sprouts.

Next to the sprouts is a ross. Next to the ross is a store. That I used to go to and get stuff from my house. Bed Bath and beyond. Yeah, I used to go to that one too, And this was recently, maybe two months ago. I noticed it was closed and I was like, no, what, bed Bath and be honest closed And friends were saying, that's I think it's been closed for a while, Like really, yeah it as I used to I like that store. Man,

was a bunch of stuff in there. They had a lot of stuff from Shark Tank that would be on there, which was always kind of cool. A lot of good Christmas presents. Yeah, you could buy there. Yeah. I would get a lot of stuff from my kitchen there or like even my bedding stuff I think I got from there. But yeah, I remember that coming out that they were closing up shopping. That one that's right there near River Park is done, so man, man, now there's just

raws and the sprouts. Yeah. Also, malls, I mean, malls are becoming not like what they used to be. No, what mall was I at? This was a mall somewhere down south and it was wild how empty it was. Yeah, it was still open. Yeah, the mall was still open to the public, but hardly any stores were open. There were random like a you could skate here. We opened a skate like you know, skating rink in the mall. Yeah, small, super small, like it's inside one of the stores. Yeah, yeah, a small skating

rink. Or it was all like mom and pop shops. Yeah, they're letting anybody in. Yeah, make rent even like Fashion Fair, which was like the popping mall out here in Fresno for years. Even walking through that, I'm like, this place used to be packed like wall to wall almost, and you just see random stores popping up, like damn the store like this would have never been in here before. Like and it kind of just like I said, like, anybody anybody want a space, like, we'll

throw you in here. Any business, it doesn't matter, and it's just not the same the more. Now, do you feel that it has a lot to do with online shopping or is it a generational thing? Online shopping for sure, But then there's people like me where I know people will say, oh, online shopping is so convenient. I don't know. Sometimes it's not convenient to have to return something you don't want. Yeah, so that's why I like going to the mall. Just you tried it on, you

like it right there, you go home with it. Yeah. Yeah, but you're right, I haven't been to the mall a lot lately. Yeah. Yeah, sometimes I'll stop by if I need something specific. Yeah, but or even what about the days of just going to the mall to hang out, Like that's definitely not a thing, And no, that's not a thing anymore. I think that was a generational thing. Yeah, that's where that came. I mean, even if that was a thing now, I

don't think I would want to because we've done that. You know, you know what seems to do better. I don't know if they're called is it? Are they called like outside malls? Is that what they call? The outdoor mall? Yeah? Don't you feel like those do better? It's been a thing. Yeah, I've seen a lot of those lately, especially like in California where like our weather is good, is there the outdoor seeing the

outdoor shopping seems a little bit better than the traditional indoor mall. I've kind of seen that, but yeah, man, you know it's just I remember growing up and the mall was such like a fun thing to you as a kid, and then even when I got to a teenager, it was kind of like the hangout spot, and you know, during the holiday seasons it was packed, and it's just not like that anymore. It's almost like sad,

like a ghost town when you walk in certain malls. Now there's the other side of it where I would I wouldn't mind that it is not packed. You could find parking and you go inside. I don't know if it's the whole social anxiety thing where I'm good with it. Not a lot of people there, yeah, yeah, but Fashion Fair Mall is to me they're trying because they're gonna be I heard they're opening new restaurants there. They're opening

like in the food court area. This one they're open. I don't know what they're taking over, but this one, Fresno is gonna go wild for this one. It's a Filipino fast food restaurant called Jolly Be. And I think you've talked about this before. Yeah, they've been making a lot of waves through social media because the food is amazing that they're known for the front our chicken. But then there's like, you know, little Filipino food specialties

that they made americanized friendly. But Jolly Be opening in Fresno, it's gonna be so I'm gonna be breaking keto for that when that opens. Is that? So? Is that gonna be in the mall or like outside the mall? If I'm not mistaken the story that I saw it, it's taking over one of the stores outside, man, I think, but don't I'm not too sure. Yeah, because I'm trying to think what's gonna get taken away?

Chick fil A is not gonna I don't think it's Chick fil A. And then what there's the fancy restaurants there, Flemings Cheesecake, That's what I was thinking of. So I'm trying to think where where was it a bigger restaurant it is, it's a restaurant chain. It would be to me, it would be weird if it was inside the mall. Maybe on the other side of the mall. But there's nothing. No, that's not a good spot for job. It has to be right there where you could see it

on the street. But a no, it's it's in the news. It's happening. It's happening. By the way, there's one close to here and Delano. Delano has one. So if you know people in Delano listening, you already know Jolly Bees but when it comes to Fresno, game change, man, game change, because you got to tell me what to get a store that I'm kind of I'm gonna miss. I don't. I don't frequent it a lot, But there was a time where I went for the just chips. There was these veggie chips I used to get a lot. It

was the ninety nine cents store nine nine cents only stores. Yeah, I mean I would go there if we needed stuff for work, like things that you know, it could be cheap where it doesn't matter, like we do Christmas lights. That's where we get the Christmas decorations or any holiday decorations. They got it there. Yeah. I usually went for just these chips that I got all the time. Yeah, I'm a I'm a Dollar Tree guy. And they're closing up shop to a lot of family Dollar. I think

they're the same company, and so they're closing up a lot. But what really pissed me off is when they went to a dollar twenty five. Yeah.

Yeah, because I'm the same way as like man, I can get like snacks or like little things that you don't want to go to like a big store that you could just get at the Dollar Tree and I would go all the time, and then they started doing the dollar twenty five and I was like, all right, And now they even have like a three dollars section I think, all the way up to like five bucks now, so it's not even the same. It's literally just a regular store at this point.

I mean, they still do have things that are a dollar twenty five, but it's just not the same. And again with the raising of the prices, but then we see what happens because now they're closing up shops. So it's I don't know, it's like people are raising their prices and they're in they're getting rid of employees, but then they're also going out of business, and it's just it's wild, man. It's everything we just do is like online now. Usually we're we have notes when we like do these episodes,

and this one I don't have notes on. Just just off the top of my mind. How about stores that are still open and we're wondering why they're still open, like why, like why do people still get why is it still open? The one day like Arby's. I was just about to say that, I was gonna say the one day. It gets me all the time, is RBS. So this is when I hate that I keep repeating that I'm on keto now, but before I was on keto, I don't know. I went to Arby's a few times. The fries are hella

good. The rose beefs now which is are good. I don't think I've ever been to Arby's in my life. Maybe when I was a kid, But I know some good stuff at Arby's. They have the meats apparently, but I don't know anybody besides you that goes to Arby's. And yet I remember a few years ago, I think they were I don't know if it ever happened, but they were gonna buy out Buffalo Wild Wings or something like that, and it maybe go. They have money. Not only are they

not closing up, but they actually have money to buy another business. There's gotta be some money laundering shit going on there, man, because I don't know anybody besides you that goes to fucking Rby's. And they had these commercials that play off all the time, and I don't know, I don't know, but hey, if Rby's your thing, this is no shade on Arby's. It's just I personally don't know every anybody that goes besides you, And yeah, I don't know how they're still open, but hey, they had

this one dish that was the one dish, one sandwich. It was a was it a pork belly sandwich? Like a big slap of pork belly barbecue sauce. Oh my gosh, I'm I'm not mad at Arby's. Like and also the fries they had good curly fries. Yeah, I heard their curly fries are speck and that's like the only thing that I would hear about is their curly fries, but not enough to make me go so Rby's, man, don't hate on it, but but yeah, you're right, I hardly

see anyone going to Arby's. What else do we think that, like, why is this still open? Do you have any Nah? I don't, Like I said, I usually we have like notes on this stuff where we could just go right off, but we kind of freestyled this one. But I mean, the gist of our commerce station is that so many businesses are raising their prices going out of business, and it's just it's just a different world, man. And I felt like the pandemic really sped up that process.

You know, because there is something to be said about how fast things jumped, and usually we see these this type of inflation like over a few years, and it just felt like within those couple of years it was like oh shit, like we hear now like this is how much rent is this? How much prices are for McDonald's. I would have never thought. The last thing I'll mention is Fresno local good restaurants are thriving. Support them, man, Well, trust me people are because we frequent those like Anesso's,

there's the Pismos, what else west Woods it's big time. I mean they're like pretty big time restaurants, fancy restaurants that's only here in town, owned by people from the valley. And it's packed every time we go, it's packed. So the Fresno staples are still lasting, which is good. Yeah, there's a new one called Sizon that's that's cracking. The there's it's a Mexican fusion and it's cracking right now where you have to just do a reservation.

They don't take walkings. Okay, but are you know we had Lewis here his spot west what is it called west Woodwards? Woodwards? Yeah, so so I guess if nothing else, support businesses, man, they're thriving, and it always feels good to give back to your own community. So hints like you know, like I said, he know, Ouishi and those restaurants I still support, but man, somebody's chains. Fast food used to be fast, cheap and convenient, and man, it ain't that no more.
