This will give me for our podcast? What Up? I'm Jizzo. That is John Magic and we are back.
How much awareness do you put onto like people listening to our podcast?
Like do I consciously think about it? Yeah?
Not that often me neither, Like I don't think about who's listening or do we even have listeners? Yes? Sometimes I When we load the episodes, it kind of for it forces us to see how many downloads, and sometimes like I come up to you, you know, we had some big numbers on this episode.
Certain episodes do better than others.
For sure, and it's like, oh man, people are really listening to this because sometimes you're right, we don't.
I think I take that radio mindset, yes, of like I'm just talking to one person. Well, and also like I don't think about that there's like thousands of people listening to me. I take it as like I'm just I'm just laying this, which is radio one on one, right, We're supposed to be talking to one person, And I kind of have that same vibe when I'm doing when we're doing this podcast. Obviously it's a little bit easier because I'm talking to you, but I'm thinking that just like you know.
I don't know if you ever had this mindset, because I still have this mindset when I'm on the radio, and this was a mindset that I had when I first started twenty five years ago. I feel like no one's listening. I know, I don't think anyone's listening.
But you'll be surprised too, because people will come up and say things about what I've said on air or what we've said on the podcast, and I'm like, oh shit, like someone did care about what we had to say at that point in time.
Well, I just got a message on my Facebook page a couple days ago and the message said when's the next episode? I need an episode? And like, whoa. I didn't really think people cared like that.
Yeah, we've been off for about a few weeks, three I think maybe, yeah, three weeks.
But I guess that's why, you know, we were trying to think of an episode of like, wait, why are we putting this episode out for this week? And I think that's a good place to start, is maybe why we've been gone for three weeks.
Yeah, Well it hasn't been anything crazy or bad.
Well no, yeah it's not bad. Yeah, yeah, it's life is lifing.
Yeah, for sure, especially this time of year. I don't know, but for some reason, the fall has always annually been busy for me personally and at work. Thankfully we don't have to be at the fair anymore, but that used to be like take up you know, a week and a half of my life as affair is still going on at the recording of this podcast, but I wasn't able to take time off during those times back then, and I actually decided to take time off now that we can during the beginning of fall.
Real quick, before we get to your time off and what you did, yeah, I mean we just we let's paint the picture of October like you said, you know, the fairs in town football season for Fresno State, which we're partners of.
Yes, so we've been going to those games.
And then just pass the amount of events, yeah, like Clovisfest, concerts, all these little appearances we have to do. It's if you looked at my calendar, it's just full October end. Yeah, it could get stressful. And that's like one thing that I wanted to.
Ask you is.
Because what was it yesterday when I was like venting your work is getting wild? What are like some of your ways of dealing with the stress of work.
Well, I think the one thing that I did is I forced myself to take a vacation in the midst of all this.
Which I haven't done yet. I haven't vacated for the past two years.
Wow. Yeah, you're gonna need that, bro, Yeah, You're definitely gonna need that. I think vacation is something that I've been reluctant in the past to do just because of my anxiety of like not wanting to miss work and not wanting to feel behind. But I've had to force myself to just do it. I mean, I have hours and hours and hours of vacation time, and i've been
the past few years. I think when we first started talking about this podcast and saying the changes that we wanted to make, and one of the things that I said is I wanted to experience more stuff and go out there and do more things. And I forced myself to do it. And man, that's that's been a lot.
That's been so good to do that because I've felt better coming into work and the anxiety will still be there, you know what I'm saying, but it's not as bad as what it used to because you really do need to take time off, whereas sometimes maybe you don't feel like it because you don't want to feel behind, but you really got to force yourself to do it because it does really help well in me.
My past vacations was always with a partner, if it was you know, an ex girlfriend or family, and I right now it's I'm at that zone where people are like, yeah, take they're forcing me to take a vacation. I'm the kind of person that likes shared experiences. I want to like share experiences with energy with another person or people, and right now at this moment, I just don't have that. And I've done the traveling by myself. I've done that many times and I kind of just don't want to
do it. So like I'm trying to think of a way to VAK, but I don't.
Know, like it by yourself.
I mean some people say like it's it's one of those things it's easier said than done because people say, you know, and by like a group of friends together, which we've done before with like a bunch of the homies, but everyone is everyone is busy, has a different schedule.
That's tough too.
Yeah, I don't know. I mean my classic going to Hawaii once a year. I haven't done that in years. That might have to be a move.
Yeah, well then what else are you doing then to destress yourself?
You know what, It's tough right now, so maybe, like you know, therapy, I've been. I'm back in therapy. I started in person now, so I'm not doing it in zoom, which ten out of ten recommend in person helps me. It feels like I'm I'm enjoying it and getting a lot more from it doing it in person. I don't know.
I mean, lately, I've been consciously telling myself to meet new people, surrounding myself with new energy and friends wise, and also in that same category within my friend group, out with them more, just like on one on one lunch or something like that. DJ Straws and I just had lunch. We've never had like a one on one lunch before. Just been doing that lately, where it's that whole thing where you it says, surround yourself with like
minded individuals with good energy. And I'm still in the process of like in this healing journey sort of thing. It's only been like a month, so that's been helping.
The one thing that I did because a good distressor for me was working out the gym. Yeah, I'm still doing that, but I've switched my schedule. So I've always been afternoon evening gym person like kind of the end of the day, and it's always worked for me, and I just wanted to do something different and kind of reverse that. And now, I wait, I do an early morning gym, So I wake up at six in the morning and I get my workout in and start my day super early. And I don't know, that's something for me,
that's new for you. Yeah, that's new for me. You know. Obviously I don't my radio shows not till three, but I come in a few hours before that, so I technically I could always sleep in. I've always had a good schedule with that, and I've done that and you know, work out later in the day. But this early morning wake up has just been hitting different. And I don't know why. I think it's just it's starting the day off before maybe a few other people, kind of taking
your time getting ready. Not that I ever like rushed before, because I would still, like, you know, take my time getting ready, but this just that extra that morning breeze. And then when I'm done with work. There's never the thought of like, ah, I still got to go work out, even though I would always still do it, but there was still that like you're at work and in the back of your mind like, damn, I still got to do something after this. And now it's like when I'm
done with work, like I'm done. I was about to ask you what I'm free, Okay, I just have more time to do other stuff, you know what I'm saying. So I don't because you know, sometimes me and you would talk after work and we'd be like, Oh, we'm gonna go do this, but I gotta go to the gym first, so it should be a little bit later.
Yeah.
Now it's like nah, like whatever's good, Like I go anywhere after work now and I don't have that oh I still need to hit the gym in the back of my mind. So this schedule has actually been working for me, and it's made me feel like more of an adult, if that makes sense. I don't know, it's just been working for me. And like this morning, I woke up and now, like the season is starting to change, so it's getting a little colder in the morning, but it's still got that fresh fall air in the air,
and I don't know that's helped me. So maybe like a switch of schedule, because I know you're somewhat like me, where I'm very like scheduled, right, like my every day is just not act not as mine as a little overboard and this I thought this would be kind of hard for me to do. But basically I just switched it around because I'm still like on the schedule, but now it's just switched around in and it's I don't know, something about switching it up has just changed me. I
feel like I feel better coming into work. I feel like good coming into work, you know what I mean.
So the way my gym schedule goes is it depends on the day. So sometimes after work on certain days Mondays, Thursdays, after work, I'm I'm limited in time because I have to DJ that night, so I'll usually go in the day.
So you kind of wherever you can fit it in, wherever.
I can fit it in. So I don't have a set schedule, but even but I think the the common thing that happens is I have to go.
Each day, so regardless, it could.
Just happen anytime. Sometimes you've even seen me leave and come back in my gym outfit and I'll leave like around four pm. And so it's just switches for me. I don't have a regular schedule. My schedule is going, so I just I have to go. And also something that I just recently started. I know it's an ongoing thing that we talked about, is mean Keto. But to be honest with you, for the past maybe six months to almost eight months, I've been like eighty percent keto.
Like Monday through Friday, I'm pretty decent, and then Saturday and Sunday it's a wrap like I'll eat anything and everything. And what I've kind of been noticing is, yeah, I sort of un stabilized at the weight where I lost, but that's it. I've even gained a little bit too as well. So just as of late, just to get
my mental back. Speaking of mental health, I remember when I was one hundred percent keto, and you remember this, my mindset was I was in a different mindset energy wise, just so I want to get back to that.
So are you trying to go like one it's a week. It's a little rough still, not like the first time though, right, No, not.
Like the first time because I think I'm used to not having carbs. It's so, yeah, it's a little rough, but not as hard as the first time. But and it's also just only been a week, so I'm also giving myself some grace of it's things are not gonna happen like right away.
But you know what, though, it's good to reset though, Like it's almost like you were doing the eighty percent, but you almost plateaued being that you were doing at one hundred percent for all that time. Because remember there was a time where you were dropping and dropping and dropping, and you're always putting up like I've the twenty thirty forty, and then it would just be like one or two or three pounds. And now you know, you dropped off
a little bit. But now this reset is going to like motivate you again, gonna make you feel good again, and it's probably gonna like help again even more so in a way you fallen off a little bit could
have helped, you know what I'm saying. One thing that I actually wanted to bring up to you in person, and I keep forgetting to I mean, like when I say in person, I mean like off the pod, and I keep forgetting to do it, but mine as well now that we're on the pod, because I know you've been talking about like you want to do more hobbies, You've been looking for something to do. And this just clicked in my head the other day when I was
watching it on TV. Have you ever decided to get back into magic?
No?
No, that's something you don't want to do. No, why you say it like that? Like I'm dumb for saying that.
And it's not that you're dumb for saying that. It's just it's it's in my head to not want it, like I don't want to get back into it?
Really? No, why not? You just don't have no joy in it.
There's no joy in it for me. There's no joy in it for me.
Interesting, yeah, because I was trying to think, like, you know what, what could you do to be a hobby And I was like, you know what, like magic's actually good at magics where your name came from? I think I saw a magician on TV or something that just popped in my head. It's like, damn, would you be willing to like go back down that road as like a hobby again or like study.
Twenty years ago?
Though I know there's new tricks out there.
I don't know no, no, I have no you know how for it? Yeah, you know if you would have said something and then a light bulb.
Like oh shit, you're right, yeah, yeah, you shut that down fast, no joy No, well never mind that.
Yeah, that's a big thing, the whole hobbies thing trying to think of. You know, my therapist said, go do things that you want to do, and I'm I struggle with what do I want to do?
I know you were golfing a little bit.
Yeah, which that's gonna happen more now that the weather's getting better, because you know me, I don't like the heat, Like I get angry upset when I have to be out in the heat. So now that the weather is getting better, you'll see me golfing more. Okay, So that's a new hobby that that I know got into. Yeah for sure.
All right.
But yeah, I'm still in search of, like go do things.
And well, I mean I think you're on the right track of wanting to have these little one on ones with friends, because you make a good point. I think a lot of times we do things in groups. And like how you said, like how many years have you known straws but like having one on one with them,
you probably got to know them even more. So I think that's something that actually I should probably get more into because I've always kind of done the same thing where I've done like the group thing, or we all kind of like do a group thing, but maybe more one on one with people, just to get to know people a little bit more and maybe that opens up things.
I mean, speaking on one on one. You know how this happened for me too, is and this goes into the bubble of mental health. Over a month ago, I deleted my Instagram.
Yeah, but you just got it back, right.
I Yeah, So I waited like a little bit over a month and reset it. And when I say reset, I mean no more no friends, zero friends, zero following, zero pictures, And I just restarted a few days ago, and I'm only adding like real friends right now, And like that's Is.
That a mental thing, like mental health thing or is that just so what's the reason.
I'm not gonna lie to you the initial route and the reason for me even deleting my Instagram It wasn't genuine, it was it didn't come from an authentic, genuine place.
But so do you regret deleting.
No, So that's what happened. Once I deleted it. Social media became such a negative thing to me. I felt like it made me toxic inside, like I need to get away from social media, just the idea of social media. I just needed a break.
It almost like you were guilted.
But like I said, after after that, it ended up being like you know, then it the energy changed to let me take a break from this because it was so negative. It gave me such a negative energy that I was like, I need to get away from this. And you know, each each week you kept asking me like do you miss it? Like no, like it was actually good to not have it. People were calling me all right that and also like hey, where's your Instagram? You know, how are we gonna know what you're doing?
Like just what you're doing right now? You called me like I haven't talked to you on the phone and so long.
So then what was the positive that you got out of it?
I think the positive I got out of it from that break is not it's not part of my life like that.
It's not it's not that serious.
It's not that serious because I mean we talked about this in past episodes. Where we would stress about how the numbers, how many people are liking it, how many people are watching our stories, our reels, and side note. A lot of that has to do with our work, our work, and that's what I was using my Instagram for.
It was work.
We were always told numbers mattered, the numbers mattered for our work, and that was my reasoning for having for using Instagram.
I mean I can honestly say and authentically say that that's honestly like ninety percent of what I use it for, say, I really do. I was actually just reading this, I was prepping it. I think it said damn. I want to say it was like how many days, like three days? If you add it up all the time that you did, it was like thirty six days out of the year that you're on social media or something crazy like that.
And I know everyone has their reason, but I think I can authentically say that, like ninety maybe like seventy five eighty is just work. Like I'm because I follow a lot of like I don't want to call them like gossip sites, but like pop culture sites. So I get a lot of information that I share over with radio through these social media that I follow and that's
mostly what I do it for. And then of course I have like the entertainment side of it, people that I think are funny or whatever like that, that I still do it for. But I can honestly say that that is what I use it for, is to keep up sort of like what's going on in the world, because I don't really watch the news like that. I don't really like watch TV like that, so social media is kind of my outlet to get a lot of the information that I relate to people.
The big question that I got was, well, if it's for work, why did you delete it?
Then?
If it's for work, and you know when I answer that question, well, here it is I realized that my mental health is more important than work.
There you go like, I like that.
That's the reason why I have no qualms in deleting it is because you know what, like this is fucking with my head so much that I don't I don't care if I got fired because of deleting, because my mental health is way more important. I'm prioritizing me.
As you should than this app and to your credit, me and you are people like that that we would never think like that, like work has always been first in our lives, so for you to actually like take control of that is like, that's pretty good.
And so what's happening now is I just want authentic, genuine connections. So I'm just gonna follow like people I actually know and talk to, you know, people that mean something in my life, you know. So yeah, I just started. If you guys want to follow me, you guys can follow me at John Magic. I actually got my name back yeh, which is cool. But yeah, it's an all new page. And I just want to be more connected with people that mean something to me.
And you know, it's funny because usually promote our podcasts on your social media, but we actually haven't done any. So I ended up ended up kind of like working out that you didn't have to, like, you didn't get to promote our podcast, but we haven't done any of these past few weeks. I think there was one week where we did a podcast and you had deleted your Instagram by that time, but you know, I still had myndsels that would handle it. Yeah.
So another thing with mental health is something that we talk about is energy shift. And I'm hoping that you obviously you've seen me this past month I'm hoping that there's been an energy shift with me these past couple of weeks.
Yeah, let's get back to that.
Yeah, because you you were with me these past few months with the personal ship that I was going through.
Yeah, for sure, and.
With me doing therapy and me kind of just focusing on myself. I feel like I'm progressing to a new energy shift. I'm gonna admit that I'm not fully there yet.
I mean, and I would keep it real with you, like you're definitely not there, but it i mean, if we're looking like you know, a month ago, it's definitely a big, a big step from from then. But I think it's going to take you a little while still because you know, Tom Hill's everything. We talk about it
all the time. But I'm glad you're taking the right steps and not because you were in bad I mean, let's be real, you're in bad shape, you know what I mean, Like we're not We're not going to get into the details about it, but like you would call me and we would have talks, and it was you were in bad shape. So it's I'm glad you're definitely on the upside right now.
It's wild you saying like in bad shape and me just looking back at just being overwhelmed with the things I was going through, you know, I mean the one thing, the big the big thing is a death in the family, my dad passed away.
Yeah, I mean it's I mean, it's been family, it's been personal, it's been work, it's been a lot.
The wild thing is there was no space, there was no gap. No, it was one thing.
I felt like once you were kind of getting through one thing, like boom, here's another thing.
Yep.
Yeah, it's that whole. When it rains, it pours, and man, it was pouring on you.
Yes, so I think that it was rough. Yeah, so when Jesus said it says it was it was a.
Yeah, it wasn't just one thing, and it was like you were in bad shape because like you were getting hit from everywhere while trying to main working still exactly and then like you know, the work stuff gets in the way.
But as of late, man, it's I'm because the feeling of hopelessness. Yeah, I was there, but lately I've been feeling hopeful.
Yeah.
Yeah, which is a great feeling, just because I know there's a lot at the end of the tunnel, for sure, But man, let's switch it up.
Let's get on a lighter note.
Well, it's part of what you said you did. You went on a vacation. Oh yeah, yeah, and you did some like really cool ass shit.
Yeah yeah, let's recap that real quick. I went to, you know, I've never done Halloween whore Nights again because our October has always been busy and having to be at the fair and stuff like that. But I was like, nope, I'm taking time off in October. So I finally did Halloween whrror Nights and it was cool. I mean, I wouldn't say that it's maybe it's just because it's not
really my thing. Not that I'm like scared of haunted houses or you know whatever, it's just that that scene is not really my thing because I don't really even do them out here. I've been to like Hobbs Grove and it was like whatever to me, But that it was cool. I got to do two houses, a tram ride and like a show, so I did. The very first one that I did was the Weekends Haunted House did he has? That was actually cool, like cause the
setup look tight, they're playing weekend music. It gave kind of like a party club Vibe, and I was like, oh shit, I can like actually rock with this, and then like you go through it and it's just like music's playing, and I actually liked that, like it'd be cool if like a lot of them were like that. And then I did this Texas chainsaw one that was
that was bad. I didn't really like that. It's just smelt like farm because it was like supposed to be like a slaughterhouse, so just it smelled like a petting zoo. And then you do the little tram, which is cool because you actually get to walk by like the was it the Psycho House and the Bates Motel, and then it's like a whole blumhouse. Characters are running around, which is cool. And then I did this little chuck he show that was there that was actually entertained and really funny.
And then then it shouts outs to the homie f Yr who DJ's here with us, and and this girl Gloria met us up there and we were hanging out with them and that was like a lot of fun. But I was there earlier in the day, like at the park, so I was I was done.
Yeah.
I did the regular park and then stayed for lolloween horn Nights and when he finally came, we was kicking it for like a few hours, but I was like, bro, I'm gonna have to tap out because I still got a long vacation ahead of me.
Yeah. I've done Halloween horn Nights a couple of times. The recent one. It's just a lot because if you look at all the lines and the times of just to walk through the house, three hour waits, Yeah, bro, And isn't that well that that's what time it closes is hours? Yeah, So you'll only do one thing, so you just make the best of it. And and I think you know, I did, and we got to do as much as we could when I went, and yeah, it was cool. It was a cool experience just to be there.
I would say, if it's something that you're really into and you really want to do it, definitely get like the express laying passes. It costs a lot, But if that's like I said, if that's your thing and you really want to go in and hit all the houses, that's what I would suggest, because you're not doing that with the regular ticket. You're getting maybe two. Yeah, I mean you're getting maybe And I think they have like eight.
Uh.
So that was that day and then from Friday Saturday Sunday I was at La Comic Con for that convention, and that was cool. You know, I'm a convention person and I don't dress up or anything like that, but I you know, I walk around and see all the cosplays out there, and then I got to do some photo ops with Rosario Dawson and of course he plays like Ohsoka and then like Hayden Christensen. You know, he played Anakin in the prequel Star Wars movies. So that
was pretty cool. I posted at on my social media if you want to check it out. And then I came back on Monday, and then it was back on work on Tuesday. But it was definitely something that I needed. Although I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation because I'm always on the go, Like I don't ever do relaxing vacations.
I like doing that.
Yeah, see, I never do that. So I was like up early in the morning to get you know, to be there at the convention, and then stayed all day and then was up all night and then just did it all over again. So I was actually waking up earlier on my vacation then like a work week. Yeah, well, well not anymore because I work out early in the mornings. But yeah, so I'm I'm still kind of like trying to recover from that. But it was good mentally.
Well, so I'm going to put it on my to do list that at some even if it's just a staycation where I drive up to Yo seventy or something. Yeah, man, but I'm going to take that break before the year ends, for sure.
Just got to decompress sometimes.
All right, let's wrap it up with things we're watching. A lot of people always love when we talk about what we're watching because it gives them ideas. I started watching that Monsters, that Menendez brother's story.
Yeah, so I haven't gotten into that one yet, but I know a lot of people are talking about it.
I was two three episodes in and I'll was sort of getting into it, like, Okay, this is a good series so far, and then fourth episode started just dipping down, like where is this going? It was kind of dragging. So I've just been stuck at that episode four. I haven't continued. So that's one thing that I tried to watch, though it kind of dropped off, dropped off on me it It started good and then it started getting a little corny. But so that's one thing on Netflix. If you if you guys have seen it.
Have you got into the mister McMahon yet?
Oh yeah, I watched that one.
I think we did.
We talk about that one.
I think we did, but I think you weren't finished at the time. I don't know.
I didn't watch it yet.
Oh you okay, yeah, and watched it, but yeah, okay, yeah, yeah.
It was cool. I mean, when I was a kid, big w w E fan, so when it was w w F. Yeah, and it goes from the beginning and it was cool to see the progression of where it is now. And you know, my nephews love it now and I don't watch it as much, but it was cool to see that aspect and then just the shady things that's happening with mister McMahon.
Yeah, man, So yeah, I thought it was a great documentary because not only does it talk about his life, but it just kind of talks about the early years of w w F. And I don't know if you would notice because you weren't even living here at the time, but there was some scenes where I was like oh that show. I remember that show was in Presley, like, oh, like that's the selling arena, like I remember that stuff.
And then the Attitude era was such like a great time, like I mean, it's a stone cold the rock like they did and looking back at it, like they did some wild shit. They wouldn't even be on TV anymore, but it was of its time. But yeah, it was great to see the beginnings of Hulk Hogan in that era because you know, growing up, he was like my favorite Ultimate Warrior, that was my favorite.
Yeah.
Yeah, so so it was cool. I really enjoyed it. It was like eight episodes, I think, watching about an hour each.
Yeah, sticking to Netflix. You know, this is one of those what do they say, where you just need you don't You want to watch something where you don't have to think Yeah yeah yeah, so love is blind those shows and sometimes it's you just want to watch it because you don't want.
To think about yeah yeah.
A storyline or anything. You just want to watch the chaos.
Where are you at in that show? Halfway man?
Halfway?
Yeah, like they're living with each other now? Yeah, Okay, this season definitely doesn't compare to last season.
No, not at all. I mean, there's a couple storylines you get interested in, but this one's on the weaker end. Yeah, but obviously we'll just kind of finish it to see what happens.
Yeah, pretty much. I just saw right now actually that the reunion is October thirtieth, So if you're into it, mark you for that. But I haven't even got through it because I feel the same way like there was so many like viral moments last season with the girl of you know, she thought she looked like making Fox, and there was just so much drama there and this one so far, I haven't really seen any drama, and of course that's what makes the show fun, is the drama.
I guess the drama is happening after because now there's little TikTok stories they're finding out about these people, these people with hidden lives. So I don't know if they're gonna touch to that, but we'll we'll see when we continue. I got this on this one show that I wanted. The last show that I want to bring up is I went on Hulu and this show popped up called from and it.
Said, well, is this the one you text me about? Yeah?
Yeah, and it's but I got this, and I'll tell you why.
It's actually an older show, right, it's.
An older show, And it said from the producer's creators of Loss, and I'm a big Lost fan. So I watched the first episode and the first episode kind of catches me like, Okay, whoa, what is this storyline? Second episode? Whoa?
Okay?
And then that's when I text you. I said, have you seen this show? Is there from There's Something here which I was enjoying episode three? Okay, we're getting somewhere here. I can't wait. And by the way, on Hulu, when you when you click on it, it said like this show is brought to you by MGM plus or whatever. Okay, So now I'm ready to go home to go see episode four. Turn it on, press it and it says, if you want to watch the rest, you have to subscribe subscribe to MGM.
Plus Focus MGM Plus.
I'm like, no, no more subscribing to these all these streaming services.
To just finish it though, and then just cancel it.
I was thinking that, but there's like three seasons. Oh man, I think it's MGM plus is only free for like five days.
I think, yeah, yeah, And.
I'm just there's a lot of there's too many streaming services.
It almost feels like cable all over again. Yeah, I mean I feel like, I mean, I at least have all like the popular ones. I guess I never even heard of that one, but fuck man.
Yeah exactly.
I'm just like plus yo, like it's like hundreds of dollars. But I mean, I can't help it. I'm consumed by all this content.
Oh I could help it because I was like, I'm done.
A couple shows that I that I'm like really on right now that have been really good as a couple of comic shows is The Penguin on Max. Now, this is like a spinoff from the Batman movie that came out a couple of years ago with Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitch. She was Catwoman and Colin Farrell plays Penguin. So this is a spinoff for his show Man. This show is tight, Okay, so I have that. Yeah, it's tight. It doesn't because it's just about him. So there's no Batman.
Don't even even say Batman. But you know it takes place off obviously in Gotham City, and if you remember the Batman, it's very grounded gritty, like in the streets. And I don't know if you like mob movies like or Sopranos, but it's very that vibe. So it's very mob vibe is what I like about it. And he does a really good job as a penguin. He's like almost unrecognizable as the penguin. So that one has been really good. Yeah, yeah, Colin Farrell. That's Sunday's on Max.
The other one that I've been watching is The Agatha All Along, which is on Disney Plus. This is like the spinoff from WandaVision.
I don't have that one.
You don't have Disney Plus. Okay, so this one's actually good. Remember how WandaVision though, how we liked it and how unique it was so kind of that same vibe. It's very unique. It's very different. It almost doesn't feel like a Marvel show. It's very like about witches and stuff like that. So that one's been pretty good too. That's pretty much all the shows that I've been on right now.
All right, I see, I'm gonna get on that Penguin one.
Yeah, get on that one for sure. That one's tight.
Yeah, I mean that's all the shows that you know, the Lakers are. The season's basically back. I know, it's still preseason. I can't wait for.
Football right now. Yeah, you know, yep, it's Baseball is in playoffs right now. Yeah.
So I'm watching a lot of that too, which those I'm glad that I get to stream.
Yeah.
Yeah, like technology mans, Wow.
We actually have to pay to watch games now, right? Is that crazy?
Well? Oh, I know, yeah that is, but I'm using my mom's.
Yeah, because you're a Niners fan, right, so you got to have Amazon Prome to watch that game that was on yesterday.
Using my sister's Amazon Lime. The that's the thing you have to do. I hope you got to cheat the system, right, Well, if you have you know, a family members, everyone just gets different ones and then maybe that's the way to do it.
Well now they're cracking down on it though, but yeah, that would have been the way to do it.
All right. Man, Well, we're gonna figure this out. If someone has an MGM plus.
By the way, I get that one.
Get the past words I have finished from
