Joy Crookes is swiftly carving a place in the hearts and minds of so many, and she's showing no signs of stopping yet. Collecting accolades left and right, from the BRITs to NME, she speaks her truth in a way that I really respect. It’s almost impossible to listen to Joy's music without feeling some kind of way, and given that so many of her tracks are steeped in South London soul, I think it’s only fair to delve a bit deeper into her relationship with London.
