Episode description

Cornell Watson may be relatively new to photography, but he’s already making huge waves in the industry… not just with his stunning family photos, but also with his message. And it was a combination of those two things that recently helped Cornell land a solo museum exhibition - something very few photographers ever achieve, much less within two years of the start of their careers.

Today, Cornell and I talk about how the opportunity for the show came about, the concept he came up with, and the execution of that concept. Whether or not you’ve ever been interested in having your work featured in a gallery or museum, you’re not going to want to miss this.

Please note - between the time that this podcast was recorded and the time that it aired, the museum hosting the show had to change the dates/format of the exhibit due to ongoing Covid restrictions. As of August, 2020, the plan is for the exhibit to run in November of 2020.

In the meantime, you can - and should -find Cornell here and here (and be sure to check out some outtakes from the show below).
