#9 Healing from MS and transcending programming through diet, meditation, and self-empowerment with Delaram Raisdana, L.Ac, MSTOM
Episode description
Delaram Raisdana (Bella) is an acupuncturist, a holistic nutritionist, a functional medicine practitioner, a sound healer, and a yogi. She is also completely free of any symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis, a diagnosis she received years ago. After feeling unsupported by the medical professionals who were treating her with pharmaceuticals that brought on even more symptoms, she decided to take her healing into her own hands. She studied traditional Chinese medicine and functional medicine, mostly to arm herself against this diagnosis. Today, she's not only symptom free, she is helping others to thrive with health.
In this conversation, we discuss how she empowered herself to heal her body, the cultural programing that kept her from sharing this story until recently, and how anyone can advocate for themselves when receiving a devastating diagnosis. I enjoyed this conversation so much and am honored that Bella courageously shared her story with the world on this platform. I believe that healing stories like Bella's will be more common as we reprogram and think outside the box when it comes to our physical, emotional and spiritual health, becoming our own intuitive healers.

The mantra we mentioned is the Mool Mantra. Here's my favorite version by Snatam Kaur.
