Episode description

I am...a white woman with brown-eyes., Petite, with short hair. That's what you see.

What you don't see is that I am a Jew. I am a Jersey girl. I am an advocate. I am an ally.  I am a sister, I am a step-mom, I have one daughter. I grew up in an upper-middle-class family.  I am a wife. I am an orphan. I am a pet mama. I am a survivor. I am an anti-racist.

Our identities are complex. I am so much more than you can see. And, we rarely get a chance to share some of these details with others.

In this episode, I draw my own line in the sand. My line around bigotry, hatred, and what my parents taught me about "never forgetting".

And I share why I believe we are all connected by different pieces of our identity. A web of connectedness.

It's time for all of us to #thinkcourageously about this broken world we live in. It's time to rise, speak up and make a difference.
