Episode description

On episode 76 of the Think Courageously Podcast, Amanda Buss joins me! At the young age of 28, Amanda was diagnosed with breast cancer. 4 years later, her breast cancer had metastasized leaving her with an estimated 6 months to live. But Amanda was a competitor, and she refused to let cancer get her down!

Amanda's diagnosis led her and her daughter to the Kids Support Program at the Cancer Support Community. Shortly after, Amanda became a volunteer and an ambassador! Her volunteer gig turned into an Executive Director role with the Greater Lehigh Valley!

Amanda shares about her competitive time playing college basketball. It was during this time that she learned to have tough skin and to get back up! Those same skills were ones she has embraced throughout her cancer journey!

On this heartfelt episode, Amanda and I discuss:

-being the best version of yourself
-serving others
-embracing a positive mindset
-finding your fulfillment
-choosing gratitude
-comforting your suffering friends
