Episode description

Our relationship with alcohol...well, it's complicated.

Molly Watts is an author, podcaster and mentor. She is also a mother, wife, and an adult child of an alcoholic.

Molly leaned into her own pivot when she decided to explore her own mindset around alcohol. She is the founder of Breaking the Legacy podcast which is dedicated to helping habit drinkers and adult children of alcoholics create a peaceful relationship with alcohol: past, present and future.

Molly’s approach is based in science. Her approach challenges others to use their own brain to change “unbreakable” drinking habits. Molly says " nothing has gone wrong, you’re not broken, you’re not sick...it’s not your genes. Creating peace is possible and I’m here to show you how."

Molly lives in the Portland, Oregon metro area with her husband Joe, two dogs, and four young men who now only stop by for months at a time during global pandemics. She loves to walk, write, read, drink coffee, and sit in her backyard during the summer.
