Episode description

Odds and Ends: We prove our street cred by talking about putting together IKEA furniture and our thoughts on the Great British Baking Show season finale; T.J. wanted to talk about the new Pokemon, but settles for complaining about Wal-Mart instead; we talk about a random Youtube find called Possibly In Michigan, and why this old short film from the 80s is so fascinating to us.

Feature Film: We take a look at the zany sci-fi cult classic The Fifth Element, directed by the uhm… questionable Luc Besson. It’s a 90s space adventure, so it’s probably exactly what you think. But Bruce Willis and Chris Tucker are in it and bring their own particular charms, so what’s not to like? Well… still a lot, but at least they’re there.

Next week’s movie: The Hunt (2012)
