Odds and Ends: Call us Nick Hollywood and Prue Teej and let us teach you how to make incredibly unhealthy soups; T.J. watched a lot of stuff, and we talk about them all, including revisiting Nope and Bodies Bodies Bodies, as well as The Black Phone and descending further into the Hellraiser franchise.
Feature film: We discuss the debut feature film from Paul Thomas Anderson, Hard Eight. It’s got a stoic Philip Baker Hall, a baby-faced-but-not John C. Reilly, a likable Gwenyth Paltrow, and a show-stealing Philip Seymour Hoffman. That’s about all I can recall to write about this movie because, well, because I forgot. I can’t even think of a joke here. So, bye.
