162 - Cure

Odds and Ends: It's been a couple weeks, so it's time for another conversation about AI, but we also talk about the dead internet theory (and dead Steak and Shakes); Nick revisits a favorite from his youth; T.J. is otaku'd-up and talks about two more Japanese movies

Feature Film: Nick's horror recommendation is Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Cure,a sort of horror, sort of detective movie about, well, killings and stuff, but also... there's a lot of this that went over our heads. But we think we got it. So like, it starts and this guy beats someone to death with a pipe, and our theory is that that is murder. There's more to the movie, but that's the gist of it.
