Episode description

In 1913, American industrialist, Henry Ford invented and implemented the modern day assembly line. This assembly line allowed Ford Motor Company to reduce the average amount of time it took to create a car from 12 hours down to just over 93 minutes. This also allowed Ford to create cars in larger quantities and at a lower cost. How does an invention that took place over 110 years ago factor into small businesses today?
