Episode description

In this, the second in an occasional series of podcasts exploring major themes and resources from the Project's 22-year history, we are going to do something a little different and focus on one particular lived theologian, the radical, feminist, liberation theologian Dorothee Soelle. We have an exciting interview with Dr. Sarah Pinnock, professor of contemporary religious thought at Trinity University in San Antonio. Dr. Pinnock is the author of many articles and books on theology, theodicy, Holocaust studies, and of course the thought and theology of Dorothee Soelle. The interview with Dr. Pinnock features a rich conversation about Soelle, her contributions, and what we can learn from her provocative theological voice. Dr. Pinnock even shares with us a little bit of what it was like to live with Dorothee Soelle for a short time in Germany. You will not want to miss this interview.
