This is a roundup of a trip to Italy with Donna and James.
Venice to the Cinque Terre is a wonderful and worth it side trip.
Cinque Terre is 5 villages perched on the cliffs and they are all rather different.
We arrived and used MONTEROSSO as our base.
Enoteca Da Eliseo is a great place to refresh and talk to the owner he has a great history and is a true mixologist!
Ristorante Ciak has amazing risotto.
There is no question in our minds that this place is a hive of activity when it is high season so plan and be prepared for the fun!
