In this episode, we build a farm gate out of two old packing pallets/creates, used to transport doors to a building site. The pull them apart and remove the nails, ready to be recycled into a large gate as the entrance to our chicken run/orchard/food forest. Lets see if the chickens stay in. Enjoy
In this episode of thebackyard.tv, we go foraging for roadside apples to be used later on to make my Roadside Cider. It is a small harvest after a dry summer, but hopefully we will be able to get something out of these apples. Enjoy
This weekends project was to clean out some old pipework running down to our dam, so we could add a pump and get water back up later down the track. Also a way of moving water from a barrel next to the house down to the day. Enjoy
Just testing out editing together an intro for the show… trying to use free online tools and creative commons audio as a starting point. Looking forward to any feedback and we will be hoping to launch the show in the next few weeks. http://ia600702.us.archive.org/21/items/thebackyard_tv_intro_edit/thebackyard_tv_intro.mp4 Cheers thebackyard.tv crew
