Tales of Wedding Rings (Season 1): Magical Realms, Polygamy with Princesses, and the Intricacies of Anime Royalty

So I was like , oh yeah , I love tales . Tales of asperia was okay , but you know , tales , like all the other tales games , was like awesome . Tales of the abyss fantastic . I was super excited about all of this , but then I wound up starting to watch it and I was like , oh wait , this is not . This is not what I thought this was gonna be about .

Yo , all right . So we got in very , very short fashion .

I knew the stories , I knew what to do , so I'm just waiting on finding the princesses . I need to find all five of the princesses , oh , no , I got . I'm on the hot on the trail . For the first one , I'm going to the find the fire princess because she technically , she technically went the first one .

Sex nigga like ain't no fucking love love , love but love five different females exactly and some side characters look this is the general gist .

She gets isekai'd over to our world in order to hide away , because in her world , the darkness and the dark ring master is coming after trying to take the special rings that grant him ultimate power and was used to seal him away , lord of the rings anyway . So , moving past that , she finally gets of age and she's not old enough to be able to to wed .

So that way she's being brought back into her world by her grandfather , who is a great mage and wanted to bring her into our world . Our main man , sato , who grew up with her . He doesn't want this to happen . He doesn't want her to leave .

So he follows her and winds up jumping , immediately , interrupting the wedding when she was getting ready to wed a person who was supposed to be the ring king . But he willingly gave it away . Why ?

Why because he was in love with someone else and he knew that being the ring king meant that he was not going to really get the chance to be with that woman , because he did not want to have to marry five other bitches in order to get with his woman , including her sister , including us .

That's why I said yes and he was like I don't really want to do all that , I just want to have just her . So sato shows up and he's like , oh shit , this is my opportunity . And ditches that shit . So , goddamn quickly , immediately .

Sato , immediately automatically gets the ring , gets the kiss from his lovely woman , hime , and automatically now becomes the Ring King and at this point is now immediately pursued by every single dark , demented creature in existence . Everything is coming to kill him and take that ring , because he just happened to step in , because he couldn't know his place .

I mean , and I can understand , obviously you are in love with the girl , you're going to follow her into know his place . I mean , and I can understand , obviously you in love with the girl , you're going to follow her into a new world .

Now , I've already read the manga into this one , so I'm not going to spoil it , but I just want you to be honest . I want to just really let you know , literally , if you've watched Lord of the Rings , played any of the games Shadow of War games and stuff .

I swear for fucking God when I say this is literally a ripoff , aside from the fact that the whole ring story and all the rings being split between the different races in order to create balance and peace as well , too . Literally , the abyss king looks exactly like fucking sauron , I swear to god . So just look it up .

Just look up tell the wedding Rings and look up Abyss .

okay . So her brothers wound up really trying to protect her in a very , very , very that type of anime trope fashion . He is very much in love with his sister and so badly wanted to keep her a virgin until he became the one . Even though he never truly said it in the anime , it was very clear that he wanted to be the one to take her virginity .

That's just what it was .

She was not surprised , well , no , she was surprised because she wanted to get a chance to see it . So she finally got to experience it and so it was like , okay , it's different from the reading , the books , but she was so knowledgeable it helped out a lot along the way , so I'll give it that .

So the shelter princess winds up finally coming out , coming out of her shell . She's finally able to move on , move out of her protected city and I can understand that her whole thing into the fact that she was cursed by her parents per se .

And it's really the parents' fault per se , and it's really the parents' fault Because of the fact that her auntie wound up leaving saying that because she fell in love with the great sage .

So I understand Nefertiti's being able to leave Sheltered . Sheltered . People have to leave every now and again . It has to happen . I get that , so I will give that into the story . Now let's talk about , obviously , our bae grandon lord oh my , it got hot in here already . Hold on . Yeah , it's fire out here .

The fire princess herself , the princess of Nita Kidda . I just wanted to talk about that for a moment . Nita Kidda , yes , I need a kidda right now , yo that is baby .

I see why she was holding out for a hero or a king .

Anna , he's like you use the ring , use the power of the rings , and this fight would be easy . He's like , but that wouldn't really be fair . That's not my own strength . They're like , bro , I'm gonna be honest with you , your own strength ain't nowhere near enough to do what you're trying to do . Anna , use the rings , bro , just do it . He's sweating .

No , I'm not gonna do it . And she literally , honestly , she was so fucking boss that whole two episodes of her introduction she was so fucking boss literally walks into the steam room oh my god he is butt , ass naked , lays down and she says you come here and put my lotion on and and he's like you're talking to me .

She said ain't no other human in here right now , but you is there . Oh shit , let me straighten my towel up , bro . Hell , I might accidentally drop .

But then it's funny she says and my people , I'm an old woman who ain't never had no kids yet . And this is like so look , I'm tired of all these other weaklings , can you just put some babies in me ? And I'm in every episode ever since then she has done nothing but just say oh man , I need some babies , man , I need some babies . She's already fine .

She's already the strongest of the princesses , and stronger than our main character , of course too . And on top of that , all she literally says is just put some babies in me .

So , stone Ocean . That season the main character is Jolene . That season the main character is Jolene , who is also I'm surprised they allowed that because she's also a character in that , in that song .

Doesn't this just get in the way of what the main purpose is supposed to do ? Like literally like there's too many layers , there's just more layers . I have to take off . I'm just ready to fucking make babies and I'm like bro , just granada , come on , he ain't trying . There's plenty of people who are willing to need a kitty .

We need to go to the kingdom of nitty kitty because we need a kitty . We need to go to the kingdom and need a kitty because we need a kitty . Anyway , alright , obviously we talked about Granart as baby mama . She's going to be brought up a couple more times . She's going to be honest . She's probably the main reason I stayed with the show .

To be honest with you , actually , I think even in the group I shared a picture of her . I shared that little video of her in the picture and a picture of her . She had that little video of her in the picture and Shownuff had multiple people comment to him like what anime is this ?

And I'm like it's already in the description , bro , they're like bet I'm finna , go watch this .

They didn't expect them to be able to have emerged to that point yet .

They don't necessarily need their princess there because they know how to rule , how to actually take care of themselves , which is something you don't really see too much when it comes down to any type of monarchy . Like is usually very desperately needing their ruler to make decisions and stuff for them , but that's not the case . So it's pretty interesting .

Yes , the Fire Princess , ooh , but yeah , yes , lord , she is nice , but yeah , yeah . So one of those things is the fact that the , the kiddies , are actually able to rule themselves and , on top of that , are a very strong military-based nation as well , too .

Literally all of them can fight , like every last one of them , and that's very interesting , because I'm sitting here just like so y'all tell me , y'all set , y'all traveling , saying race right now , like y'all prepare for any type of . So y'all tell me y'all are traveling the same race right now , like y'all prepared for any type of bout whatsoever .

Y'all prepared for this ? And apparently , yeah , they are . So I'm like , oh shit .

That was the first person that we met , but after that you was introduced to men and women , but you mostly remember the women because even he may and um , even he may and uh , nefertis also was talking about . He was talking about them .

He's like oh my goodness , there's actual cat people we didn't think we'd ever see them for , like in real life , they actually do look like cosplayers and stuff like that . And so that's pretty much where you wind up sticking with is in Grenart , because once you met Grenart , there was no other cat person . Was important at that point ? Nope .

He chose his character to be . We're going to get into that onto a different time . All right so , but yeah , so it's one of those ones that I I appreciate that kingdom the most and the fact that their kingdom got destroyed . Instead of spending weight like spending so much time , it's like , oh , we got to fully rebuild our kingdom .

They're like you know what we're going to make a traveling kingdom , and they work with the dwarves to be able to do so , and so that way , their kingdom is merchants , their merchants . They're able to travel around and make really great sales

. One thing to also keep in mind into this show as well , too , and it's one of the ones that , for me , is a fault . I would love to know more about these . Um , we only focus on the five main kingdoms in the Abyss . Those are the only ones we know about . But the great sage Alabaster .

He did actually mention that there are other towns , and we get a chance to talk about them a little bit more when we meet Sapphire and the princess of Masa .

So when we get to the Masa kingdom , the Warder kingdom kingdom , which we're about to talk about in just a moment , but , um , there are other towns and other , um , there are other kingdoms apparently as well too , but they're considered not important , which to me , I think , is a real failing point into that . I want to know about some of these other kingdoms .

There's another show that I've watched . What is it ? It's with a character named Aladdin , but he goes by Aladdin . That's how they wind up saying it in the show .

It helps to me with world building I'm trying to tell you like you , mentioned these other worlds , but these other kingdoms , but you don't , but we don't see them . As far as we know , they don't exist .

That's one of the things that kind of fails for me on this show is the fact that I wish we got a chance to talk about some of those other kingdoms , or at least , and our understanding is that , like between episodes or between travels , days passes between them and it's like , ok , what happened in these days that they were gone ?

Was there any other conversations ? Like if they're unimportant , unimportant and I can understand the skit .

But if you're saying that there's other kingdoms but we never see them go to these other kingdoms or even worse , alabaster even mentions like they're not considered as important as the main kingdoms , as the ring kingdoms , that's where it kind of comes like , oh damn , that's pretty fucked up . Like unless it's a ring kingdom , we're not going to hear about it .

Oh , there's other kingdoms but they're unimportant and like to everybody else , that's how they're considered . These other kingdoms are considered unimportant because they don't have , they don't possess a ring , and that's pretty up , because if you're going up against this great evil , you're going to need as much help as possible .

Why are you excluding everybody else like that ?

So now we enter the kingdom of Masa , where we're introduced to Sapphire and her sister , where we're now understanding . This was where the story finally , to me , got somewhere , like otherwise every other episode . I was sitting here like what is happening ? I felt very lost , like I don don't , there's no world building , there's nothing here .

The only thing to me that was keeping my attention was granite . I'm just gonna be honest on that . I was like , okay , now we introduce granite , I'm gonna continue watching for her , um , and only her , but and I might consider , of course , nefertis as well too , but still , these I don't know . But otherwise , still , I'm like what ?

What is story is there to keep me watching this anime ? And then finally we get to the kingdom of masa and now we finally get some world building and you're like , okay , now I understand .

So now we get our prince mars who has who is the ring , the person who was supposed to be the ring king , but he willingly gave this away to Sato because he is in love with Sapphire's sister . And now we kind of get somewhere and it's like okay , so let's see further . What's going on into this Sapphire ? Of course it's the same name Sapphire , saphira .

That's why I couldn't remember . I had to look it up . I was like what is the sister's name ? Saphira is literally just an A at the end . Anyway , so he's in love with her sister , and what was supposed to happen was is that they had an agreement . He was going to make sephira his number one , and that's what her goal .

That she was like okay , well , I'm going to be a ring princess and this is what we're going to do . However , he wasn't happy with that . He did not like that . But there's two reasons for it . The first reason is , yes , he's in love with sephira . He doesn't want to make her number one . He wanted her to be his only one .

So he purposely chickened out at the given opportunity to be the ring king because it's not what he wanted , and I can respect that .

He doesn't specifically fully mention it straight out but , he kind of drops those hints that he's like I'm in love with someone else and I'll be honest , the way they wrote this story from the beginning , when they first had this conversation , I was literally thinking that Prince Mars was gay .

Even though they have a great military and they're super strong , they're still not considered a great power because they don't possess a ring , and the king is very , very pissed about that . He still he personally , feels that the other king , that his kingdom , should still be considered strong because of their military , even if they don't possess a ring .

So I'm like now we're finally getting that stuff I was mentioning earlier . We're finally getting to that and I'm like , okay , now we're getting somewhere , but unbeknownst to everyone else the ring king , not the ring , sorry the prince , the king of the other kingdom . he's actually working with the Abyss King and actually has an .

Abyss Knight working with him purposely to manipulate the king of Masa .

Every time she predicts a monster attack happening . It keeps happening and she tells them how it is that they're going to protect themselves and it works and it's on purpose , in order to build that trust . Of course , alabaster not being the great mage that he is and being as intelligent as he is , can see through this and it's like that's some bullshit .

She sees it every single time and she tells you exactly what to do every single time and you always win with no casualties . Yeah , now you know damn well , that sounds too fucking good to be true it's the power of friendship , you guys yeah , exactly . But even Mars' brother Solder also thinks the same thing too .

But because of how he is , he has to fully obey his dad . And he's like I just gotta do what I'm supposed to do .

And even though , like his other knights are saying , hey , we're being , hey , we're being flanked , we're being attacked from the side , we need to split our soldiers , and he's like and he's literally you can see that moment in his face and he's like I fully fucking agree with you , we should do this .

But the fortune teller said no , so we're not going to do that , we're just going to stick with what we're doing and watch . Everything's going to work out because I already know and sure enough . Of course , everything always worked out exactly like they expected , and he's like oh this is great fortune telling . She really teaches us things that even he knows .

He's like no , that's bullshit .

This is planned , but he just goes along with it to try to figure things out , and even though and he's also that nice older brother who's hard on Mars but he's hard on him not because he doesn't like him , but it's trying to help toughen him up , but trying to also protect him , because even he knows their father's up to some bullshit , but he doesn't really

know how to handle it yet he just doesn't want his brother to get caught up into it . Uh , which doesn't want his brother to get caught up into it . Uh , which reminds me very much like itachi , because he went through that very lot of parallels , right , yeah , pretty much .

And they went through that really , really quickly because , like with itachi , we had like years of hating itachi before we understood the truth because you don't have enough hate .

She's like is this really the group that we're supposed to seal away the abyss king with ? This is what we're supposed to work with she . She's like oh , we're offing to die . This is some bullshit , I can't deal with this . She gets mad every single time because everyone's trying to hop on Sato's dick and she's like is this really what we're doing ?

Is this really what we're doing right now ? Oh man , she's like I can't deal with this bullshit . I can't deal with the nonsense . She's like I'm just gonna go back to my kingdom , I'm done with this . She says nope , but I will say when she turned into a dragon , though , that was pretty dope , what .

That was dope and then find out it takes up so much energy and she's like oh , oh yeah , I can only do like like once every now and again .

Because they finally make it to the Earth Kingdom , they're still decimated , all the dwarves are still dead , and the Abyss King winds up awakening earlier than expected .

So Alabaster and Morris wind up working together to send Sato and the four princesses back to his world , and they have to live there for just to try to escape there , and just leaving that lasting message , just break the princess's ring curse , and just leaving it as that and like what the fuck you talking about ?

So my thing about is this you brought them all back , all of them are now in your home . You say just live normal lives , and then , of course , granite hits this other awesome phrase . So there's nodie people in this world . Oh , we got to fix that Time to make some babies . But you know , again , it's like no girl come this way . We here , just why ?

But no , for real , though , it's the fact that , like , we kind of get this understanding that the dwarves are so powerful that they were not even powerful . They were so technologically advanced , except for making that . Um , they're making the traveling city for the kingdom of Nidakiti , for making them traveling merchants .

They also built a robot well , a golem per se that's mirrored , exactly like their dead princess , which I also find out . The princess is dead too . It's also really fucked up when they made a golem .

She's immortal and they sent her to his world and she's been hiding there all this time until finally Sato winds up , being at the right place at the right time , shows up , meets her and she's like I have the ability to take us back and then finally , at this point where they're getting prepared , that's a plot hole for me . That is a plot hole .

So this should literally be a 24-episode anime , and that's it , it'd say , to be done . So it's like how , like , how is it going to really work out ? So I don't know , like I'm , I'm , I'm really confused onto it and it is very much a plot hole because they don't explain really how . They just say the dwarves died off .

Like they say oh , they were mostly killed off during the war , but the last remaining ones built this golem princess and sent her to another world . Okay , but they did this after the abyss king was was sealed away . So what , what happened ? Like y'all couldn't go in hiding , was there not ? Y'all couldn't go meld with other races , or something like that .

I'm pretty sure like the kitties would not have minded you guys being there , especially because in fact , you helped build their fucking city . Even granada even said herself , she said that if something was to happen to their city . They have no idea how the mechanics really work on that . So if it breaks down , it breaks down , it's , that's it . It's just done .

I would have hired , I would have brought some dwarves in and come in like hey , y'all the last few , can y'all come along that way ? Come in like hey , y'all the last few , can y'all come along that way , just in case some shit breaks ? Y'all the only ones that know how to do this , y'all teach us how to do this .

And , like you know , maybe you can meld with us too . We can be a double kingdom or some shit like that . Like I don't know , there is a huge plot hole into that and we get no explanation at at all , even for what I've read in the manga . There's nothing else there .

So I was just like , okay , well , that's another failed opportunity , but I guess it is that one .

They could've built a more harmonious relationship , they could've had small stuff , they could've fleshed out backgrounds about each individual . Like they missed a rare opportunity to make this a top 25 show . That's true , and it already got the lovely ladies .

Just being honest with you , like that would have been a great season one ending Would have been like he finally got Renwinnard , she finally joins , she joins the group and then , like season two , we start off with the water kingdom and then going to the earth kingdom . Like we could have had like a couple of seasons more world building , some more action .

Like you know , the abyss king is awakening and we're fighting along alongside his monsters . His monsters are terrorizing these other kingdoms and we're having to save them . Getting more understanding of how these other kingdoms are . There's so much more world building we could have had .

There could have been more of the dwarves' golems been around Aside from the great princess , and we could have had a hint building up to this princess throughout the whole show . There could have been a hint by .

Every now and again it was like , oh yeah , the dwarves have made these really awesome devices and these golems were sent to all the different kingdoms as a help protection device and stuff like that too . And you're like , oh , so they actually make golems and , yeah , sometimes these golems look like real people or even things like that .

Like we could have had hints about the dwarven people that led up to the princess revelation , where it's like , well , hold on , so dwarves are no longer here , but they made sure they devoted a very special protection to the room . Obviously it has something to do with a golem .

Maybe there might be something there , something that would have led to the understanding like , oh , this is where this princess is , versus , it was a chance encounter . Because , realistically , what if they never went back ? What if they never went back ? What if the Beast King didn't reawaken ?

What if it wasn't this deus ex machina thing that just happened that led them to go back and then be at the right place at the right time ? Like there could have been something more , some subtle hints , some like puzzles that would have helped the future ring king to finding out who this princess was .

Otherwise , it's like dwarves just set everyone up for failure , because if the ring king is not going to be powerful enough unless he gets all the rings , he has to have all five rings to be powerful enough , but you sealed away this ring . There's no way for the ring king to find this princess or find this fifth ring . Y'all kingdom was doomed from the start .

Like , was the dwarves stupid ? Like I'm confused . Obviously you weren't , but like , what's what's happening here ? Like that's what I'm , like there's a lot of failed opportunity here that I felt would have really helped the storyline move over .

And that's when , like , there's a lot of failed opportunity here that I felt would have really helped the storyline move over . And that's why I was like the story wasn't the best .

Because one of the biggest things that everyone complains about with lord of rings is the fact that , oh , the only thing they have to do is destroy the ring , and the only way to destroy the ring was to get to the fucking volcano . Just , there's tons of magic , you're telling me . Can't nobody just fly the asses there to do it ?

They had to go through this long walking journey everyone had to die for this it's some really simple ways of fixing this , but , um , that's just , I don't know . It's just one of those things into it . But the main , also one of the biggest failed attempts , is the fact . So I told finally was about to do it .

What he made he was finally from the go ahead and get this out the way . Grenard was finally gonna get her kitty babies . Lo and behold did .

Meanwhile , sapphire the whole time she doesn't want to say that she's missing her home , but she misses her home the whole time because she starts breaking down in tears when the portal opens . He's like we can finally go back home . Yay , type that girl just speak up . Like sato's been trying to talk to you about this forever .

Plus , I told I'm gonna be honest . I don't understand . I can't . I get this . He may is the one you really want to be with , but why you be neglecting time with these other girls so heavily like this , like he is . He's like such a horrible .

But when they first met he was all about trying to make sure that they're okay . But once they joined the group he was like , oh , fuck them , I don't care about them no more .

But as we've gone through , you can understand my point into what I'm saying . Like it had moments where I have a reason to watch , then it fell off . I have a reason to watch , then it fell off . Like I had a reason to watch the beginning because , oh , it's an isekai type anime . Okay , you know , I like isekai , I'm curious to see how it's going to go .

And then you married Hime . Oh , but the problem is you became ring king , so now you have to marry these other girls and I'm like , oh shit , this is about to happen . Oh , okay , interesting . Then it starts getting boring . Then , you know , grenard kept me interested . Okay , I'm going to watch this . Then it finally starts to get boring again .

Then we get to the kingdom of Masa and I'm like , oh we , the only reason I'm watching is for Grenard that's what I'm saying . Like that was the only reason she got naked so many times .

I'm going to be honest , if you're rating it out of a 5 , a 2.5 out of 5. , it gets half .

It's a ripoff of lord of rings not even a good ripoff to me onto that . It's just that there's so much more I could have improved on just me personally . And I'm going to take this lesson as I apply it to my story , because I will say my story that was one thing I kind of felt faulty on was the world building part of it .

And so I take this and go back and rewrite some points into my story , adding more world building , adding more to the kingdoms , and that I have into my story so I can make sure that we have an understanding of what's going on , cause , like in my story , these two kingdoms are going to war with each other and they're going to war with each other specifically

because of the main villain , so it's like there's a reason for that . So I got to build more into this world building , so now I can understand , so it will help me with my story . So that's what my takeaway from it . But that's this episode of the after dark when we talk about this Very raunchy anime .

Now there's another anime that just aired this year . They just finished their first season . When I first started this anime it was it's a hentai without being a hentai . I'm gonna be honest with you . Like there's , it's a straight up hentai without being a hentai . Like just being honest on that . But it actually delves a lot more into story , character development .

There is a lot of that that actually happens in the show . That makes it significantly better . You have to get past the first three episodes , which you probably won't have too much of an issue . I say that because it is a magical girl anime where magical girls , where our main character is a villain and she's a dominatrix and that is her power .

What she doesn't understand is that this magical creature is actually the leader of the villain side and turns her the opportunity . What she doesn't understand is that this magical creature is actually the leader of the villain side and turns her into an evil person . She thinks is a mistake .

But he very much makes it very clear that no , you have a lot of dark , evil tendencies in your heart that you don't realize yet . And she becomes that and her main power is dominatrix . And not only that , she also gets power ups . In the anime as well too . You find out that the more she dominates someone , the stronger she gets .

Oh , really , and she's very , very much in love with the magical girl .

Like I said , this is a . This is a hentai without being a hentai . I'm going to be honest with you . So that's my suggestion . Yes , when you were talking .

I said I don't understand how it's not . There's this literally hentai . I said these girls have been violated . Every episode , like legitimately , almost every single episode , these magical girls get violated . And I'm sitting here like bro , what the fuck are you having me watch right now ? What is this ?

And then towards the end , like as soon as we get further into the season , then I'm like , oh , there's actually character building . Oh , there's actually a storyline that's here . We just had to get introduced to our character and understanding who she is before we understand why the story is getting there .

I will accept that , alright , but with that let's go ahead and wrap this up and we will talk with y'all . On to the next After Dark episode .
