Solo Leveling (Season 1): A Second Chance to be a Badass!

I'm gonna let him go on to that , but , without further ado , we're gonna go ahead and talk about this awesome anime that hit everyone by storm who was not aware of it . We'll put it in that aspect there , solo leveling . In fact , this anime was so big that talos has specifically told us every single time a new episode dropped .

He said don't contact him , leave him alone , let him enjoy this show as it came on . So , without further ado , we're gonna follow on to his lead , talos . Go ahead and get us started , my man so , first and foremost , what's goody ?

There are three Different worlds for this . Correction , there are four Different worlds For this . There's the light novel , there's the . There's the light novel , there's the Manhwa itself , there's the anime . And I want y'all , and I want y'all to know something . The fourth that a lot of people don't really realize there is an Actual . What is it ?

There's an actual manga , not just a manhwa . There's a manga . The light novel tells a different story . It all falls within the same category , but the light novel tells a different story from the manhwa and the manga .

It doesn't just pull from the manhwa , it pulls a lot from the light novel .

Uh , so he's an e-rank because in their world they go , they have a power scaling system that goes from e all the way up to s , or at least it's known as s . There are double s's , there are triple s's in and above S's .

The triple S's are actually what they call nation ranked , but at least within the public eye and most known , they are just E through S . He is an E rank , the lowest of low . I want y'all to know this man when he first starts out , relatively can't hurt a fly it was given . Naruto .

He was getting hurt from like Weak stuff that most people Can knock over with like just a slap . He was getting hurt from that level of stuff , so can knock over with like just a slap .

He was getting hurt from that level of stuff so , as tuck normally does here with the timeline , we come to know of sungjin woo when he literally and when I literally , he's literally going into a dungeon , like we don't get to catch him outside of it . Typically I'm talking about like chilling . No , he's getting ready to go into a dungeon . He's with a team .

They're getting ready to go into a dungeon . They think this dungeon is pretty low level . What they do not realize is that this is a double dungeon , because , matter of fact , nope , before I skip too far ahead , let me explain what a double dungeon is . Double dungeons are your dungeons that house high-ranked monsters , but they're hidden .

High-ranked monsters , but they're hidden . Why are they hidden , you ask ? Because when you first see the first appearance , you'll see a boss and everything and you'll think the dungeon is going to close . But that's not the actual boss of the dungeon , because there's another part of the dungeon that's hidden . It's hidden away . That's the high-ranked part .

Most double dungeons Are kind of they're typically easy to spot , but this one was not , because typically you can spot a Double dungeon and know what kind of Level it's going to take take . So most people know , and especially when you're going into what is known as a e-rank uh dungeon oh , they thought it was going to be easy .

So the highest that the second part of the dungeon should have been would have been like maybe just at low c , low c tier , maybe just regularly like high d tier . So they could handle that because they had at least a b-rank killer . By the way , this b-rank killer , I hate her .

But in that aspect I will say this the trauma that wound up hitting her at that point was different , because remember they raped the girl right there in front . That that's a whole different type of trauma situation that's going to freeze you up , like right then and there , especially like she was a young girl , so like that's not something .

That's a whole different type of thing . Now , if you have been in battles , you've seen people get hurt dramatically , like you've seen people's guts get cut open and you know you have the power to reverse that type of thing . And she's been in I can't remember she's been in multiple dungeons . She's been in dungeons with June multiple times .

She's healed him on the brink of death multiple times . But right now you got to freeze up . You have seen death in people and now you got to freeze up . You have seen death in people and now you freeze up basically .

So , and mind you now where I am , if y'all are trying to figure out , we're still within the first two , first two to three episodes . Like I , I'm not even , we're not even in the double dungeon yet Now .

However , they had , I'll tell you right now , they had an opportunity to leave . They had a whole opportunity to leave . We wouldn't have had a story if they just chose let's get out of here right now . They got foolish and they walked into this room . Oh , oh , oh . You know that old saying when is your God ?

As a matter of fact , for those of you that have watched SAO Abridged , where Kirito says now , maybe you're wondering where your god is . You don't have to wonder anymore , because he's right here and he's fresh out of the emergency . That is the level of fuck around and find out that they here , because when they walked in there , those doors closed .

They thought oh wait , I am good , I am great . This is no problem , because it's just a bunch of statues . What are they doing ? Statues aren't moving , okay , okay . Sun Jin Wu had the intense , intense urge to be like . You know what ? I think we need to move .

And , sure enough , as he moved lasers from the big statue all one person down , they starting to panic . What do we do ? What do we do ?

This is before that , so understand for me , it was fresh for me on , like the first couple episodes that was kind of like it threw me off for a moment because you were just like oh yo , we need to dodge . And he even said it .

Like you know , I don't know if it was weathered , because I've been close to the brink of death so many times and I've been in multiple fights and my body just instinctively knows that there's danger , but something told me we need to get the fuck out of dodge , bro , like this is about to get bad , let's , let's look , look , I'm gonna you something .

There is no way , no way in hell . If I know my rank is low , hey , talos , you want to go ? No , talos is not why that right , there is death .

The moment he got there and touched that door they realized them statues ain't still Uh huh . Yeah , I'm talking about Completely decimated him . For those of you that got little kids , I would not let little kids watch this right now at their age .

If you're trying at least not to get them into gore and stuff , don't let them Because , yeah , that right , there was ugly , it was brutal , all right . So now , now we're getting up into more episodes . Hey , look , there's a tablet on a statue and the statue says pray to God , you know , basically worshiping . Alright , one person thinks to worship .

Well , first off , it was kneel before God . They kneeled . That stopped the lasers , but it made the big statue get up , the one that was sitting on the lasers , but it made the big statue get up , the one that was sitting on the throne and he started walking towards them , going to crush them . Next thing said Pray to God . Basically , worship him .

You know , one person thought that he was doing the right thing . This deity did not answer to the prayers of a regular God . No Hindu Buddha Christian prayer was going to help . He got squashed .

Them statues will kill you , cause that also fucked them up . They had to run towards the statues that were Gifted in Bringing praise , aka the statues with Instruments .

People start going to the altar , one by one , by one by one . Flames light up , all right . The door opens , oh , oh , we're great , we're good . Now we can leave One person steps off . The door starts to close again one quick thing that was .

oh , yeah , yeah , people had to die so then , even worse than that was the fact that he finally had made it to the statue , but in making so , he still wound up passing the statue with a weapon and wound up chopping his foot off . So he's also heavily handicapped .

While they're trying to do stuff , because now they have to drag him everywhere , it's important to the story .

A lot of people wanted to put blame on the party leader and stuff . Yada , yada , yada . Now you know , sung wasn't like I wasn't finna do that , not finna do this . And Sung knew okay , ain't , no way you gonna make it out with me , somebody has to stay . So son stays and them statues was basically about to kill him .

However , the system kicks in and says hey , you've completed the objective . Would you like to become a player ? He chooses yes and boom , wakes up in the hospital .

He's still registered as an E . They left him alone . Now , mind you , during this time he's still registered as an E . They left him alone . Now , mind you , during this time he's still . He's looking and he can see that he has something completely different Because he now has a hub .

He now has a HUD system , which now , which you know Tuck is very much so familiar with because , as his character plays in my D&D campaign side note you know tuck is very much so familiar with because , as his character plays in my dnd campaign side note , you know they have hud systems so they can see things just like as if it's a video game .

They can see stuff and they're like oh , what is this ? So you know he's , he sees that they have this little daily thing that he has to do and and he's not thinking nothing of it he's relatively not Until it gets late . Once it gets late and he hasn't done it , he hasn't completed it by day's end , he gets teleported to a desert area .

This area is definitely not on his own planet . Why ? Because there are gigantic centipedes , by the way . Whoever did that ? I want you to know to the artist , whoever thought of that part uh , fuck you . I'm gonna say it now loud and proudly fuck you . Why ?

Because , as a gamer , I hate those types of moments where , literally all of a sudden , there is a world within , there's a world within a dungeon that you have that you get dropped into if you're trying to complete a puzzle and you don't get a chance to complete that puzzle correctly , so there's a monster down there .

That's either a you can't kill it , or b if you do kill it , you don't relatively get nothing from it . Ie final fantasy 9 when , uh , the freaking cerberus chases you in one area and you just have to avoid him , because if you don't and you get in a battle with him , he can easily wipe you or you beat him . You don't get nothing from him .

But I digress . So after he survives and is brought back , you know panting almost dead again because like , oh my god , we skip around and we see , hey , when they come back to him in the next episode , this man looks completely different . He looks completely different . Muscles , all Bruh , he looks completely different . So look .

Look , we're not even gonna get on that .

Um , like I said , he's basically healing Everything else . As a matter of fact , no , hold on , side note . Side note he hasn't fully changed , changed yet . He's changed a little bit , but he hasn't fully changed . Um , before he goes and completely changes , let's go and kick it to where he goes into his first dungeon alone . He goes into this dungeon .

Now , mind you , he gets a key from one of the daily rewards because he's doing his dailies and everything . You can start to see where he's looking like he's starting to change . He hasn't completely made his change over , but he's starting to change , all right . So he gets this key . This key is for a dungeon that is basically in a subway .

It's basically in a subway , it's basically in a subway area . He goes into said dungeon and once again , the old him is still there . He relatively wants to panic and just be like I can't beat this , but he somehow comes up with the courage and just fights . He fights his way through .

I'm talking about fighting these animals , fighting these dogs , and he's starting to get titles , and in here . Those titles give you abilities . Case in point , one of the titles that he earned allowed him to basically kill any beast . It basically made him stronger against any beast , monster , beast type monster , if you will . So he's literally just like .

I can do this . I can do this now . I got this Because , once again , there's another system that we need to talk about , real quick , too their monster system , their monster system . Their names have colorations to them . If you see a name that's in red , that monster is stronger than you . If it's orange , it's relatively , either on the same .

It's relatively either on the same level or either either a little bit stronger than you , just a little , not much . But if it's I forget what color it was , I think it's gray then that monster is weaker than you .

So , yeah , he was basically beating monsters , and the first monsters that he had come across were these uh hounds , these iron jaw hounds , like and he's like he's fighting them , fighting them , fighting them , fighting them , them to the point where now , as he's going further down , they're no longer a threat to him , like he's just beating the brakes off of them .

He has a Snake boss to deal with , and it was no , like no Ordinary snake boss to deal with , and it was no ordinary snake boss , you know , it was like one of these big ones . He literally broke his sword on its scales . That's just how tough this snake boss is . What did he do , though ? To beat this snake boss , you ask ?

This man used his full strength and suffocated , basically breaking it's windpipe and spine they did a really great job for that like .

Your weapon is not stronger , nothing like that . You just did your strength . Granted , it does help improve your attack because you're swinging the weapon , but there is a difference in support . I like how he was able to pretty much understood that because you're swinging the weapon , but there is a difference .

I like how he was able to pretty much understood that . He was like you know what ? I increased all my strength , but this weapon isn't really doing what I need it to do . So he unequipped it and was like yeah , let me just use my strength on this .

Boom , we finally got a big difference and he was able to see okay , putting all my stats , putting much of the stats and the strength made a huge difference . I really liked how they were able to explain that and stuff .

Well , the guard that came that was over there did not recognize because while he was in said dungeon there was another dungeon break so they were trying to contain it .

By the way , in dungeons happen throughout the world Monsters can break out of said dungeons if those dungeons are up too long and no one goes in them , or if that monster is just strong enough and can literally break out in an instant . Those are those high level dungeons , but we'll get to those . Those are those high level dungeons , but we'll get to those .

So he literally went and because this uh guard was was like hey , you know , you got , you can't be in this area such and such . And he found out he's a hunter , like oh , you're meant to come over here . And as he was just passing by , he saw that there were D , d and C rank hunters Fighting some C rank Stuff .

They had a B rank healer who y'all already know , and she was already having flashbacks From the double dungeon . So she was no good , no good , like they were gonna die . Sun Jin Wu was like you know what . I can kind of help him from here without getting into any , uh , you know any , limelight .

So what he did was he took the broken sword , cocked it back and I'm talking my major league baseball pitched it right into the Stone Golem's head , cracked his entire defense . He cracked the Stone , golem's entire defense .

After that episode , that's when you see the full transformation to the Sung Jin Woo that most people know . Oh , his whole demeanor , his whole outlook or outward appearance was changed . That man was literally . His whole outlook or outward appearance was changed . That man was literally . That man literally had rids and he didn't know it .

I'm going to say it like it is that man literally had rids and he didn't know it .

Now we start to get to where , hey , we start to get to where , hey , he's starting to meet uh , his , his actual teammate , teammate . And he met his teammate , who his name is you , jenho met his teammate and another raid that he joined , this group was looking for somebody to pick up and we're gonna tell you right now , this group was shady .

They were shady as shit . They literally was just trying to get people to pick up so that way they could get them killed .

Now , at first they were going to kidnap Eugene Ho and use him to blackmail his father and to give him the money , but they figured out a better way to do it because , hey , we can let him die in the dungeon and then just say , oh , we don't know what happened , we survived , we couldn't watch their back , you know , because it happens all the time .

But here's where things messed up . They didn't know how strong Sung Joong-Woo was Because , hey , they went into this dungeon and they left them too . I'm talking about barricaded them in and everything they left them too .

They thought the boss of the dungeon which was a giant spider , by the way , very cliche but giant spider they thought that boss was going to kill him . Nah , not likely . Sungjin will beat the living brakes off of this monster .

All right , they came back in Mind you I'm only doing this because I want us to have enough time here to tell everything . So they came back in mind you , and I'm only doing this because I want us to have enough time here to tell everything . So they came back in . Sung jin woo was like what up ? They thought , uh , yoo jin ho beat the monster .

So they were like yo , yoo jin ho , you know , like you know they . They started trying to tell the plans and everything else . Like Yu Jin Ho , look , go ahead and kill the E-Rank , like we got you . You know what I'm saying . Go ahead and kill the E-Rank , join us and everything else . Alright , the system didn't take kindly to that .

The system literally told Sung Jin Woo yo , you got a brand new mission Right here , right now . Them fuckers and I'm gonna put it to y'all in my turn them fuckers . They could say they wanna kill you . Kills them , if you don't , you'll die .

So His brother didn't know what was going on and I might just give it a little bit at the end , like his brother felt , like , you know , felt sadness in himself , like oh , something has happened to my brother , or whatever .

But continuing on from then on , yu jin Ho and Sung Jin Woo you could see them hanging out together , like that man was like Yo , I want you on my team , like let's knock these dungeons out , etc , etc . They were Doing the damn thing .

One key major factor here to notice , to note Right within this section here coming up , is that sungjin woo had another , another major fight here , because we're going to go , we're going to go through I'm gonna skip some point , but we're going to go through here here , another major fight with an assassin . This assassin thought he was billy .

Badass , don't getass , don't get me wrong . Before Sung Jin Woo got what he got , he was Billy . He was Billy to a degree . We ain't finna say he wasn't . He was Billy to a degree . However , the assassin was hired to do a job . That job was to kill three prisoners , because these prisoners killed this man's child .

Yeah , this man's child yeah , his client's child his daughter so the assassin did his job too well . He killed the three prisoners and he killed two other people that was in on the mission that was only because they wound up being in the wrong place at the wrong time .

Song Chi Yu was the leader of the double dungeon that failed . This was basically a redemption card . The other two guys that got killed Were also in the double dungeon . But they blamed Sung Chul at the time .

Hmm , yeah , they were True , but hey , first mistake of the assassin you went at the healer Nope , yeah , they were True , but hey , first mistake of the assassin you went at the healer Nope , sun Jin Woo stopped that shit . Like yo , what you doing ? I know you didn't just reach over here Like you thought shit was sweet . Alright Now .

First off , the assassin went at Sung Chi Yu , at Sung Chi-yul right Now . Sung Chi-yul . He's a mixed up case in which this is something that I don't like about this world .

Like you know , hey , they're giving gifts , but their gifts don't always match up with what they actually can do , because his gift was he was given magic , his skill set , basically said he's supposed to be strong in magic . However , he's a martial arts teacher , so he's more physical , so basically , it made him a magic sorcerer .

With that , though and that's one of the ones that you can say based on the writing or even just the character itself into the fact that , if I have martial arts , that I've been giving the gift of magic , obviously I'm still going to be using my martial arts skills , but I'm going to be building up my magic too combining had a hell of a time .

He could have been like Ines , you know shit . Like Ines has like a magic form . Ines has a magic form , he has a physical form where he excels in either one , and like how he chooses to fight , he has , he had options and as old as he is and as many people that he's trained , it kind of was a really like drop ball .

On the fact that he just literally let one side go . Yes , because at this point , yeah , he lost an arm . Well , guess what that means ? My physical is not gonna be as strong , but that doesn't stop your magic , bro . Like , come on , man , you had . You have abilities .

I can see what you mean on that , because it's like you really dropped the ball into that and you're a teacher , you should know this .

So them two were fighting , them two were fighting and the assassin was basically about to win . Sung Jin Woo steps in . Hey , y'all know how this goes they fight , they fight , they fight . Assassin gets a little cocky , but then Sung Jin Woo knocks him back and he's like yo , you're not normal . So the assassin basically goes and uses his move stealth .

He's like I got him , I got him , I can win this . Sung Jin-woo makes this man fear God , devil and every piece of dirt that was in there , because when this man literally went to go and look at him and go to strike him , the move that Sungjinwoo used hey , no , he showed him I'm death , you about to fear everything .

That man stopped in his tracks like what the fuck ? And died right there because Sungjin will kill them . Like there was nothing he could do as he was dying . That man even said you're not human .

That makes it . It makes a big deal . You use those strategies right and some like he did a great job in the fact that he was able to learn that pretty quickly . He was able to like okay , I know what this attack does . It scares my opponent , they freeze in place , giving me an attack of opportunity . So it's like really good job on that one .

He's getting stronger , but he's also mentally increasing himself as well .

Well , what happened before Sungjin walked out , one of the killers was still alive . He took him to the boss's room where it was like a bunch of goblins . He let them goblins kill the killer , kill one of the criminals actually the prisoners and then he ended the boss .

So , yeah , that should let you know already what kind of what kind of level this man is on . So after that , after that one key , one keynote , real quick one keynote , um , he basically went and knew that there was going to be kind of some trouble . Uh , government officials came what ?

The same one in particular that had talked to one of the same ones in particular had talked to him before because , by the way , the assassin was the other government official that was there in the room that , when they tested them again , um , the other government official that was there in the room when they tested him again , the other government official came and

this government official was like , who did it ? Who killed . And so his teacher , which is Song well , song , basically , was like no , I did it , I killed him . Look , I have a B-rank killer with me . You think I wasn't going to win . You know , make Making up a lie .

This man's whole thing was kept secret , so government believed it , went on about their way , even though they were still suspicious as hell . At this point here , lee , who is our healer , she quits , she retires . She told Sungjin Woo hey , look , after seeing you do what you do , I'm done . This is not life for me , I'm going home .

struggling . He has to do this Like that's not an option . His sister is still in school . He has to keep paying for . He's paying for his sister to be in school . He's paying for his mom's healing and shit . Like he has to do this . She ain't need none of that . She ain't need none of it whatsoever .

As soon as that PTSD kicked in , you're like you know what my family is ? Well off , I'm gone . I'm pretty well off . I don't need to be doing this .

So here we go , moving forward relatively kind of quickly , um , after this him and quote , unquote , his sidekick , cause that's literally what they consider , this man , they can they consider Eugene , who his sidekick , basically , at this point , um , they start doing dungeons .

Dungeons uh , this does not go unnoticed from other people because literally , what you have to do is , in order to do a dungeon , you have to have at least a team , and that team has to at least consist of I believe it was , uh , four to eight people . Yeah , yeah .

So what they did was they hired people just to sit around and be lazy , sit around and be lazy while him and him and Eugene , who basically went in the dungeon and they wiped out dungeons , like , like you , you got to literally know All right , this man is beyond strong for it to only take two people to wipe out a dungeon Two .

So another key point here you can't get the shit out of me During this time , right During this time , before I leave , and goes this next key point the shit out of me During this time , right During this time , before I leave , and go to this next key point during this time , we had an individual from another guild like yo , I want to hire you , come ,

whatever you got , we'll pay you whatever what's-her-name is paying you double . And so I'm going to tell y'all now , at this current point um , in the anime , it's , I believe , they say it a little bit differently , but in the uh manhwa and light novel , he basically told him so basically , you're gonna give me your guild building .

He's like huh , yeah , that's what he offered me . I'm , I'm , I basically Own the guild building . You have to give me your guild Building in order for me to switch and come over there to y'all .

I have to be able to run your guild , like and he asked the dude , like you know , he used his ability on old buddy Because he wanted to know , like , who knows my information out here in these streets , and why are you ? You know ? And once again it was just hey , you know , simple shit , folks , just being nosy because you're making waves .

When you make waves like that and you're soloing dungeons almost by yourself , basically because that's really what he was doing , walt's name was just there for like , hey , I'm just gathering shit , I'm not going to fight nothing , I'm just gathering .

And I like how he did it , where he cut the dude , he scratched him and then was like eh , and then after he's like , okay , I trust you . Now they gave him a potion and told him to drink dude drunk and he's like Holy shit , wait , I'm healed . He said what the hell was that ?

Where I'm moving on to next is another big major fight for him . This is where he fought Cerberus , where he wanted to test himself . He fought Cerberus . Man , that dog was beating on his ass you talking about Sanjin ? That dog was beating on his ass . That dog was beating on his ass . This dog basically blocks the entrance to the demon realm .

It took him a minute . He beat the dog , but it took him a minute . That made him realize . Yo , I'm not ready for this just yet . I'm not ready . Um , from there , I'm gonna tell y'all , now he goes and does a couple more dungeons . From there , I'm going to tell y'all , now he goes and does a couple more dungeons .

Um , he , let me see , I don't want to make sure we skipped anything , because the next major one in my head that I want , that we definitely want to tell about , uh , because we're getting close to telling about Egress .

The only way to make make it to go through these Boss dungeons , which is what led him To fight the Slurvers .

So , ladies and gentlemen , boys and girls , children of all ages , I know a lot of fans who are very much so ahead , be telling y'all ooh , ooh , y'all can't wait , wait till he gets to the point of where he has his armies and and stuff like that .

And you know we're not trying to spoil you , but man when y'all get a chance , when y'all get a chance to see tusk and you know , beru and all them like .

He whooped that man like the room had wronged him . He basically used that man to beat the room . That's how bad this fight was . He used that man to beat the room . How you beat . Ooh , how you ? Ooh , when I tell you , when I tell you that this fight was so , so nasty , ooh .

Please cause that man got better air con mode , because the Tekken creators out there , please put . Egress in Tekken , please , because that man got better air combos . That man got better air combos than a little bit .

I'm talking about straight eye , not how you juggle this man Into a seven piece combo , knock him into the wall Into a bounce off the wall , knock him into the wall Into a bounce off the wall and collide with him , hit him and drag him from wall to wall to wall to wall .

I'm talking about no , but by the time they got done , you tossed that man into that throne chair and that had that man looking like yup , that's it . Mama said I'm supposed to go home , I'm going home . That whoa , that was ass-whirping that man .

Let me show you what Mike Tyson taught me . Ring the bell , ring the bell .

He was going to die , but it saved him and he was like , oh shit , this allowed him to because when he went in that room he couldn't use potions , nothing .

Basically he can control any and everything . And he was just like , nope bye . Crushing armors left and right . He figured out , oh shit , I got to kill spellcasters in here . That was making it where it was easy . Once he did this and completed everything , that was when , hey , you got your job upgrade .

Yeah , that's when , ladies and gentlemen , you can see , he started Summoning his Infamous army . The beginning Now .

Ladies and gentlemen , it gets better and better because , once again , I say you have not seen Beirut , you have not seen . I mean , you bought Nini Blu-ray over there because of the housing , don't get me wrong . I love you , but that's just something to talk about later .

Like you know how , there's always a big difference between when they make the anime TV shows and when they make the movies , because , like the movies , they put more detail , there's more time into it and animation style looks much more crisp .

You can see that the CGI is done fantastically into it as well , and every episode hit like a movie as far as its animation . It was just absolutely fantastic . It was gorgeous , fucking gorgeous , and so it emphasized every fight scene to its maximum , maximum potential . So every single monster that he wound up slaying , it felt you could feel that slaying .

You felt that destruction . He was like , yes , he is becoming our main character , he's becoming that strength .

My overall favorite part of season one obviously the whole fight between Igris , but really the conversation that he had with his corpse Because , mind you , he realized at that point that there's a maximum number that he could have at this point of his army .

He only has so many at this point and I'm saying that on purpose and I'm not spoiling nothing else but then he realized he had to sacrifice 10 nights in order to get Igris and he was like , damn , yeah , he's just that fucking powerful . But he's like I'm not leaving without him .

But then he also realized he only had three attempts to be able to try to resurrect Igris to join his army . First attempt failed instantly . Second attempt he tried talking to him a little bit . He's like come on , you know you're really powerful , I need you over here . And Icarus again resisted . But then that third time he's like I'm not going to give up .

And he had a whole conversation with pretty much in the gist is this he says look , you are a powerful , amazing person . He's like the fight that we had was glorious . I got my ass handed to me left and right and I didn't think anybody could ever do that again .

But at the same time , you are too powerful to be wasting away at an empty throne to a king that may never return again , king that may never return again . Your king is dead , your king is gone and you will be stuck here guarding an empty throne for all of eternity , or you can rise up to a new king . Rise up and serve me .

But I suggest , if you want to get to that , I would read Solo Leveling first . But just so you know , in the spinoff he does have a kid and that kid is just the kid , ain't even dead shit , but the kid is just as powerful as him . He had a kid From Bert , and that's just in the spinoff .

This is the same way how I feel about um being reincarnated as a slime . Shout out , remember to click this cause if you have not read the light novels and stuff once again . So my boy Sun Jinu . He's that underdog , that E-rank hunter that went with his friend Juhi I hope I pronounced that correctly and a bunch of other raiders well , hunters , excuse me . They went to what is known as the double dungeon and it went south fast , like you're thinking .

Oh , they cleared the dungeon and then this second dungeon showed up and they had to appear from all these statues and the statues was killing them .

Left and right there was 13 people and only six survived and essentially , enu pretty much figured out the riddle to this dungeon at the cost of nearly his life , like he was almost gone like his leg got chopped off , his arm got chopped off , it looked bad and he was like I just wish I had a second chance .

And then , next thing , you know , the system popped up and he managed to get up out there . But from that point forward , life for genu was like a literal video game , to where he had to daily quest . And let me talk about the daily quest where he had to do 100 push-ups , 100 sit-ups , 100 squats and a 10K run . Does that sound familiar to y'all ?

I thought so . Anyway , by the time he put in like a few days of doing daily quests and whatnot , he got jacked . And I like how the nurses at first was like who's that in that room ? You know , they acted like they didn't know who Genie was Like they didn't really notice him until he got the muscles .

So , gentlemen , listening to this , you know what to do Hit the gym , lift those weights like they love it . Hey , don't , don't let them say that , oh , we don't like men with muscle , like , look here , I had this one friend , I'm not gonna even go down that road , that road for her sake . Point being is , just because they say , oh , just be yourself .

I'm like nah , fuck all that Self-improve , get in the gym , do what you can , get your bag , whatever you have to do to really be digging yourself in this world . Because all that political correctness there's a point to where y'all is straight up lying to people . But anyways , essentially genu is as he says in the last episode .

I like how they did the title drop too . It's like , uh , my soul leveling journey is over . Now they got his shadow army including ignis . And oh man , that fight with ignis , man like I like how ignis was like hitting genu with , uh , you know , like jojo style , like just punching the shit out .

Now I'm not saying that I was hoping genu would lose , but I guess you can say that I was very impressed by the Jinoo versus Ignis fight because it gave me base day , night , unlimited blade work , survive . You know how there was like a blend of 2d and 3d animation going on with that fight . And of course , ignis was like the hardest guy he ever faced .

You know he fought that snake . He fought the three-headed dog , the cerberus , if you , uh , other monsters that it's in my mind right now but witness was by far like the hardest challenge . And then after that there was like this unlimited wave .

It was literally like a video game , if you want to put it like that , and he thought it was over for him , like he was lucky he had that penalty to where . Okay , I got like what ? Five , wait , four hours ? It was four hours . I got four hours to think of a way to get out of this jam that I'm in .

And as soon as he got back he was like , oh shit , the mages . That's who's creating these unlimited . Yeah , see , that's the thing . Like , if you play video games , you will probably be like man . I could have told you that .

Um , one thing that kind of caught me off guard was the whole Kong situation , to where , essentially , him and the other guy at first visited you in the survivors of the double dungeons and three prisoners who are hunters so they can participate in dungeon raids to reduce their sentences .

And on the side there was this one customer that was like , hey man , these prisoners . They sexually assaulted my daughter , she hung herself afterwards and the whole shit made my wife go into shock and she got hospitalized . I want you to kill these guys . I got $3 million Well , not US dollars , I think it was like 2.6 .

It was 3 billion yen , I think it was , and that translates to 2.6 million If I'm correct . I may be wrong . Anyways , kong , I like how Kong was , like shit .

I would have done it for free because but you know if you're gonna pay me , alright , because the thing is , kong was like niggas think I'm fighting to save the day , but really I just like to fight , nah , but in a killing form , to where , like , this dude was like one of those psycho kills .

He even had that psycho killer look on his face from time to time . But of course , you knew , handle him . I'm gonna be honest with you .

I'm not gonna say a whole lot of shit that hasn't been said already by the other guys , but it was really good and honestly , I can't wait to see the final form of if you know what I mean , because keep keep in mind , it was like

three . Like , for instance , when you see the cover art for the solo leveling anime , you see Jinu when he first started out . Then you see Jinu when you see him for the majority of season one and then right into the background , you see up the top and you see this silhouette and I'm like that's the Genu that we know to where .

Like you know , he got the haircut and all that he's like . You know how they say you stare into the abyss long enough and the abyss stares back at you .

That type of shit to where , essentially , genu is going on this morally gray path of where sometimes he has to kill other hunters as part of the game and for some reason , the system wants him to succeed , something like that . But in a way , what can I say ? I just love a good underdog .

I could watch the rest of the mom welldogs , I could watch the rest of the mom . Well , not watch , read the rest of them . But um , I'll get to it when I get to it . So far , I would rate season one of soul leveling Five out of five stars it was .

I was so engrossed as soon as I started it , like okay , by the time I got to the end of episode one I'm like uh-uh , I gotta finish this whole thing , shit , yeah . So , with that being said , I know it was pretty short , but you know I keep it short and sweet . Watch solo of me if you will . I'm really hoping that Season 2 comes out real soon .

In fact , I'm hearing that we're going to hear more info about Season 2 on 4th of July , but until then you know the drill Stay nerdy . Remember that great things are coming . I'm zoning out of here .
