Shangri-La Frontier (Season 1): Mastering Trash Games and Epic VR Adventures

This is your boy Kokugatsu , here with another episode of the Zone , and I am joined by the lovely Mirror and Mule Jane , by the awesome admin , talos Gundam , and , of course , my boy , professor Tuck , of the Curse Family , and today we are talking about an anime that I personally say is heavily goaded and I am very surprised a lot of people have not been

talking about , and that is Shangri-La Frontier . It's already goaded , bro . Yes , okay , yes .

What things things that people think is a chance , random encounter is not by chance . It is because these people have the selected skills to be able to enact everything that needs to go . In the words of Talos , is D&D , homebrewed in its most extreme fashion . But , speaking on to this , my man Talos is fully familiar to this . I recently did watch it .

I watched the first season . I watched all 25 episodes . But Talos , he has had the chance of reading the webtoon and the manga as well . He's fully engolded into this . So , my man Talos , go ahead and take the floor , man .

Let me give you the plot real quick and we're gonna get out of the way . So the plot of this is it's a story set in the near future , where games that use old-fashioned display screens are classified as retro games , while full-dive VR games have become commonplace . Once again , typical , isekai's typical . You know , this is a typical story .

You know what I'm saying . So we have our main character , which is Rokuro Hizutomi . He's a trash game hunter , who is a person who , basically , he admires those usually trash games , those ones that we would consider like hey yo , this is not even coming to my house , this is straight garbage , this is trash . And he goes by the name of Sun Raku .

That is his gamer tag , that is his complete gamer tag . Now , he usually plays these games until he masters them , uh , regardless of difficulty due to their glitches . Um he when , as you see in the beginning , he clears the , uh , oversized trash game known as uh Faria Chronicle Online , and he's suffering from uh sort of burnout syndrome .

When he goes to his favorite gaming store , he literally gets a suggestion to pick up Shangri-La Frontier , and when he enters the world of Shangri-La Frontier , he uses you know , he uses his skills from every other game and they basically help him out throughout . So let me give y'all the character list real quick , because I want y'all to hear me .

We got Sunrock , who y'all already know . We got Cyger0 , we got ArthurPencilGon . Now ArthurPencilGon is one of my babies .

Alright , so Shangri-La Frontier was also created by Katerina . It was serialized as a serialized as a well . The manga adaptation was illustrated by Ryosuke Fuji and it's been shown in manga . You know the weekly shown in magazine .

It's anime series were adapted by C2C and we're already set to get a season 2 , which shall premiere October of this year oh , it already set for a season two .

So I want y'all to know something Currently , currently , and I want you to know this right , currently , we have in the mangas and such , we have 180 chapters , woo , 180 chapters Aight Now . So that should tell you okay , yeah , for this to be adapted , it's going to be very , very nice , lovely .

We have in the anime , like I said , it's going to be very , very nice , lovely . We have , uh , in the anime .

So once again , today I want to kind of since I'm taking the lead , I want to kind of get everybody's uh you know opinion on this , and get your opinion on this . What your theories and such , how do you feel about the characters ? What character you know , what characters stood out to you , whether it was main characters , villains , stuff of that nature .

Now I'm going to give you the titles for every episode , first and foremost , and then we will go from there . For episode one was what do you play games for ? Episode two is a peculiar one . Episode three is like Lycagon the Night Slayer . Episode 4 was a trash game . Realignment of elevated tastes . Episode 5 is Low thou art , assailed on all sides .

Episode 6 is the writing tool Night Queen . Episode 7 is Remnant of the Divinity , the Aberrant Loser . Episode 8 was the 300 Limit Pandemonium . Episode 9 , a Dazzling Sea of Trees . Episode 10 , let's Go Tomb Raiding . Episode 11 , the Glimmer of Truth . Episode 12 , regrets Always lie in the past . Episode 13 only resentments about the end of life remain .

Episode 14 squish . Episode 15 well , episode 14.5 actually was a special bonus episode . Um , it literally was just a special bonus episode episode . Now Getting in here First off , we're going to start with Kokugatsu . How does this anime check out for you ? How does it rate for you , man ?

. As I was talking about our pre pregame before we got into recording , this anime here has so many key details Like there'll be little thrown off , details that you that you don't think is important , but just stick in the back of your mind on how they put it in there .

And then later on , it was being one of the most crucial moments of how things went . Like starting off so simple as the fact that even just like sunrock gets a necklace from , gets a necklace from um the mule and literally just like it reads the description , it's just trash , it's literally nothing . It used to be an id card but it's pretty much pointless .

It winds up being a crucial moment in a fight later on with the Tomb Guard and you're just like how the fuck it came off so minuscule .

You literally made you forget about it and all of a sudden the villain just not the villain , but like the Tomb Guard just automatically notices it and it completely changes the fight , like completely changes how things went and you're just like holy shit , that one minor thing is just that fucking important it make you want to pay attention , don't it ?

yes , literally it is , and it happens multiple times where all of a sudden you know emule , the daughter of alice , and you're like the fuck is alice , what , what do you mean ? The daughter of alice ? And you got alice necklace and you're like wait dash , gave him , him , gave her that necklace . What are you talking about ? And it's like so many minor details .

That is so fucking important . The fucking dog , lycagon . Everyone's like , oh my god , we got to hunt down lycagon . And then one character just randomly announces , oh , sunny . And you're like the fuck is sunny . Wait , that's usually a name you would give a pet dog . Wait a second . Something's more about this game like this .

There's so much details to pay attention to . And I have another friend who's read the manga . He said he didn't even know that they had made an anime . He's been busy , he started his own business , he's got a bunch of stuff going on , but he did not know that they had already started making an anime of this and this was on his list of stuff for me to .

He recommended for me to read . He said you really are going to read this manga ? And I told him I said yo , I watched the anime . He said there's an anime of it . I gotta go check it out because I love the manga , it's fantastic . And I'm like holy shit , for real . He's like , yeah , yeah , like it's really that good .

I'm like , if you're recommending and you're saying is that good ? Because he's a very , very picky on what he likes , um , so literally , the fact that he's literally saying this is really good . I went in with high hopes and it did not disappoint at all . Like there's , there's no episode you get lost in .

Everything has something key , everything is important and like simple things . When you're talking about like oh , you know some rock mentions , about the fact that you know the footing in this game is so fantastic , it's got some great things , but playing so many trash games , that has such horrible footing . This is nothing to me . This is like on easy mode .

And then later on it goes to the crystals and he's like oh , this is difficult . That's saying something to me because I'm sitting here like that that's a detail to pay attention to literally more than half the anime . He's saying oh , the footing is like fantastic , I can do this . This is nothing . And then he's losing his footing on the crystal .

How fucking difficult is the crystal fish here's that . This must be hella difficult . If this dude's saying all the other shit is easy to , what other people are still trying to get used to , and he's saying this is difficult to him , that means that means there's a reason that everybody says this is so fucking difficult . This must be extremely difficult .

Like holy crap . There's so many details that's put in there in all of it , all of this important , every single thing . The brokenness of the fucking bag of holding , the ultimate , you know the little shit that they got to that stores all of their own extra stuff and it's pretty much a bag of the bag of holding . We know this .

Or the wrist gauntlet of holding , but still so much . And then , like the fact of them , of sunrock would be in like , oh , I can maximize , oh , hey , I use a little bit of mp , but it's okay because I can use this in and out . Da , da , da , da , da and I got it . Da , da , da and I got it .

And he's like just being able to masterfully use every single element that's in there . And he has even said that . He said this is definitely a god to your game . They put details in this and those details matter and I'm just like holy shit .

And then also even the point that he's like he's specifically pointed out he's like the conversations that's happening in this game doesn't feel like conversations that would just happen in a video game . They don't seem pre-recorded like some stuff obviously , kind of is he knows when something's happening , an event pops up and he's like do you accept and decline ?

He's already prepared for that . But some conversations just seem different and Mule seems really attached , not just like any other NPC .

This NPC seems almost real , almost like it really has a mind of thinking and it's like those little is those details , and it's one of those ones you don't just pay attention to because , oh , you've watched log horizon , you've watched dot hack , you've watched um overlord and stuff like that .

It's one of those things because of the fact that , like it , just something just feels a little different , like and he and he mentions it all the time he's constantly saying this isn't playing like other games , and I'm not talking about bugs and glitches , you're like this isn't it's not playing like other games , it's a little different , like I can't put my foot

on it , but something just seems different , him being the only person that's been invited to go to the rat , to rat pass's cat on the palace . He's the only person that has been invited there , something that's not heard of in the game . He's the only person that bears sunny's mark with like a gun's mark . Everyone is after him .

Everyone is like yo , what the fuck ? Yo , you need to tell us a secret . How do you do this ? Because apparently there's something major , because since you got that mark , everything has been happening to you . How did you do that ? And it's not just him getting the mark , but how he got it .

It's so fucking important and it's like , holy shit , so many , there's so many details

. I I don't have any hd , but I feel like I do , like my , I could , I could rant forever , shit , I really could . But overall , but you can understand my appreciation into this , our character developments , pencil Gone At first I was just like oh okay , pencil Gone . I assumed Pencil Gone was a guy pretending to be a girl .

To be honest with you , no , in fact , she's a supermodel . She's a supermodel . Everyone believes her to be the most pristine , nicest person ever . Sunraku's sister . She's like oh , I adore her as a model . She's fantastic . She's like the perfect woman . And here she is logging into the game . She's the most sadistic motherfucker you can meet .

Because all of a sudden you don't know that she's a model . They don't explain that in the story until you get like much further along and then some rock who's like , all of a sudden , he just knows this . You're like how do you know this ? Well , no , go back and watch the minis .

You watch the minis at the end of every episode they did a personal , get the little interviews and that's when you find out . You find out , like episode four , that oh , she's a supermodel , oh , she's the perfect person out in the real world . No one knows how she is inside games , except people who actually know who she is .

Because most people like , because everyone else in the head explained that in another meeting , everyone else that just walks around with her face on their characters , and they're just like oh , I'm the real one that pretends to be , but she's the real one and she will fuck everybody up if you pretend to be .

She's proud about her mark , about who she is , and she will fuck people up in a video game left and right . You better know better . And it's like holy shit , okatsu . Every character looks like sun roku , does sun roku in every single game .

But okatsu a pro gamer who plays trash games and god tier games and literally gets interviews , has the highest tech to be able to do so still damn near pales in comparison to sunrock on his skills , just being honest there . But there's also ones that he still has really great skills . He has great creative mind on how he does things and it's like yo .

There's something more into this game understanding all the like the developers . When we get a chance to meet them , we meet them for a brief moment in one episode and that's it . We don't see them again in the entire season . It's only one episode , for a short period of time .

The tomb guard was never supposed to be able to be defeated .

In fact , if one of the developers she was like no , I had to make it so , that way it was a possibility to defeat it , because the person who wrote up the story made him literally fucking impossible to beat and so they had to make a particular thing , but even still said , even with that augmentation that was made , he's not supposed to be beat for another 10

years . Well , at least that one group that found him it's like he shouldn't have been beat for at least 10 more years . How fucking insane is that shit ? I don't really play XIV , but I watch a lot of videos of people playing XIV and I understand some of those , some of the monsters . I understand the monsters in Final Fantasy XII too .

So , like I understand that there are monsters that massive people have come and tried to fight for hours upon hours at a time and literally nothing Like you can't hope to survive .

The scales are a very , very , very special item . Not just anybody is able to go get them from the library . Only Pencil Gone really had the ability to do so . Only Pencil Gone really had the money to be able to do something . You had to have somebody who had skills and you had to have somebody with enough throwaway money to be able to do this shit .

That's some fucking broken shit . That's one of those ones you're like oh , you can't just pay your way to the top . You need people who can pay and you need people who got skills . Now that you have both of you , I need to form a party that you can do something like that with , and it's just like so , so much detail .

Like I told you , I could ref ever , but I'm not going to . But you can get the understanding of why it is . I appreciate this . This is just season one and there's them . I didn't even go into all of the details . I'm still excited of meeting the fucking cat village , like what's the cat town , what's the cat city look like ? I'm curious what they look like .

You know what I'm saying .

And every time he's meeting a new NPC they just overly fucking power somehow .

When this dude just casually captures a wood monster that's just so fucking overpowered and just decides to toss , I want your 10th boss to be someone that I kind of personally caught and just tossed him like he was nothing and then a two-piece combo Doom , doom and then he was already back down again . I'm like yo , what in the world ? I said this .

I've heard of overpower , but , my God , bro , like this dude's been running around for five minutes , and then that was important too . Literally training for five minutes . And then that was important too .

Literally training for five minutes against this , against this monster that , when he loses his staff , goes berserk and just starts flailing out attacks non-stop , left and right , left and right , left and right . You're like , oh , my god , this is damn near impossible to dodge .

Oh , you had to have that practice , because if you didn't have that practice , you definitely would have never stood a chance against a tomb guard . When that nigga decides to pull out Clear Sky yeah , that was crazy , ain't ?

It Pulls out Clear Sky and just pops out every motherfucking attack , possible , thunderstrike , a giant fucking hand coming to swipe your ass down , and every single attack is a one-hit kill , so if you get hit by anything , you're instantly dead .

He was supposed to die a long time ago . And literally the way they developed this character , everyone's thinking , oh , they're fighting robots , because the horse is a full robot and he's in robotic armor . You see steam coming out all the time . All of them thinking , oh , we're fighting a cyborg , we're fighting a cyborg , we're fighting a cyborg .

But that one piece of information oh , he was supposed to die a long time ago . That man has outlived his time . You finally gonna put him to rest . He deserves it . He has not been able to lay rest that little piece of information . Pencil gun was like we're not fighting a cyborg , we're fighting a motherfucking zombie , we're fighting a night creature .

That's why we've been fucking up . We keep going after . It's like we're just fighting a cyborg . No , nigga , we need some holy water and look at this small details . Multiple times said that every fight in this game . Every fight in this game , every battle , is based on the lore of the story . Every fight is based on the lore of the story .

You had to have a piece of information to understand that , oh , he's not a cyborg , he's a zombie . So you know , to bring the right weapons , you still had to make sure you had enough party members , because , oh , he's gonna summon his horse , so you gotta be ready for that shit . You gotta be prepared for his one-shot area attack that instantly kills everybody .

If you're not prepared for it , you gotta gotta be ready for that shit too . Then you also gotta be ready , because you probably still would have never beat the fight if you didn't have the special charm around your neck that helped you out .

No , ladies and gentlemen , this is literally a dnd game that is homebrewed to , where you have to pay attention to everything , not just one thing . Everything is in detail , everything the death is in detail . You need every ounce of everything this game offers . In this entire anime , nothing is not important .

After watching it it's not . But when I tell you , it gave me the feeling like I was watching Sword Art Online for the first time and it's like Sword Art Online on crack right . It's like Sword Art Online on crack right . It's like you look forward to every episode . You look forward for a new high every episode and it's the .

The art style is reminiscent of , like some of the best shows that's out right now . Like you know , it's really great and you look forward to the next episode . It kind of ties in to Sword Art Online , log Horizon Is it Wrong to Pick Up Bears in a Dungeon ? All of that but it doesn't have a lot of the stuff that I really like .

Like you know , fan service and stuff like that . But I appreciate that they could tell a story without it needing it . It's the fact that somebody's just playing a video game , bro . It's like it ain't too serious , like it ain't that like sort of online where motherfuckers die , but it gives you , it enthralls you in every episode and it makes it like dope .

And I like the fact that the character ain't too OP , but at the same time they got such amazing skills and they understand that , like he still has amazing skills from paying all these shitty games and the background of it just makes the character more lovable that I can , I can wholeheartedly agree with .

I was there and this is a war story right now I was there when they released Pandemonium Warden and they decided , hey , we're going to test and see just how people do . And they decided , hey , we're going to test and see just how people do .

And we fought that monster for days and we still didn't whoop it , just to get it down to where the health bar was . Just like , all right , cool , it looks like it's at half . That's just how tough that is . And that's the reason why I love this . I love this .

This anime shows like , hey , I'm not here looking for fan service , I'm not here looking for that . It's literally what it's supposed to be . It's an action anime , so action fantasy anime . And it shows , hey , this is what characters do when they play the game , this is what you're playing for .

Like , there is , there may not be death , but guess what you will lose all of your achievements . Don't take it serious enough . You will lose all of your achievements . And not to mention the fact that you have people who have been playing trash games .

They're hobbyists and they walk into this game and literally begin to beat this game out of order , causing this game to literally speed up its internal clock . And it's like all right , somebody done beat this one . Hey , now it's time to unleash some new shit on everybody . Let's , let's make them hurt that right there .

That that's another reason why I love elden ring . Elden ring made it where you can go and fight anything you want to . That's another reason why I love Elden Ring . Elden Ring made it where you can go and fight anything you want to at any given time . It don't matter . But once you fight certain stuff , the next thing you fight is going to be tougher .

There's no such thing as a correct order , but once you go and start an order and the next thing you fight after the first , it's going to be tough . I hate elden ring .

I couldn't get my shit , I lost it .

I'm finna go fight him and I kept fighting him and fighting him and fighting him them , trying to get my shit back . Then I lost my shit and then I was mad and I still kept fighting them and I never could beat them . So I turned the game off . I haven't played it since oh , glorious shit .

while . It makes you feel like you're playing the game yes you feel so ? interactive everything it . It's amazing how the immersive the world is like , from even the character creation , like I felt like I was creating my own character . And oh , that the I love when we first fight uh , I'm saying it like I'm playing .

I love how , when we first fight , the , the like again and the like again marks him and the mark is permanent because , oh no , you're worthy . You're worthy to be my foe and don't worry , I'm coming back to get you like all my disworthy or in the words of the words

And Emerald Weapon was that fight that literally kept you up nights Like you would hop out of school and literally it was like hey , yo , after I'm done with homework , don't bother me , because I got to beat this . I'm , I'm not , I'm not taking this sitting down . Every time you get whooped you're getting back up Like I .

Cool , I came a little bit close , I knocked this much off of him . I need to , I need to do just a little bit more . I got gotta put this up again because I'm I'm finna , dodge this like it was there .

So , most definitely , I agree , I agree because it make you feel like it make you feel like you're in the game and not finna , front you not for a lot , a lot of things . I know that y'all have , because I know y'all have not relatively read the manga and light novels .

I want y'all to know , right , there are things coming that will put a lot of these fights that you've seen , especially the Weathermon fight , it's going to put it to shame . There are things coming that definitely it's gonna put it to shame . You're gonna be like , oh , that shit won nothing .

And everybody who's read the web novels would be like , yeah , y'all ain't seen nothing yet . I like how they did that fight . They did that fight justice . Oh , they did , they did .

I promise you , every time , while I was watching those episodes and they were fighting it , every single time , I'm already counting , because it was instinct . As soon as one lightning strike goes off , I'm counting Tick , tick , tick , tick , tick . I know exactly when he's going to hit another one , I know exactly when he's going off on this .

And then , once that mode changes okay , now we got another pattern to pick up . Now I got to see if this works . And this works . It makes you literally get there .

And I promise you , the weatherman fight made me consistently angry because I'm not gonna front you as a character who , as a person , who literally will tell anybody in an MMO , while it's best that you balance out a lot of things , but pick up speed as much as you can .

You pick up speed as much as you can because you don't want to sit still facing monsters that I literally know a-yo , okay , we gotta move , because their pattern literally dictates if you sit still even for the remotest moment . You're gonna die . You're out of there . You're out of there and you gotta start this all the way over . There is no healing for you .

No , nothing , there is no . Oh , I get to jump back in right here , right ? Nope , start from the beginning . What Yep know ? Oh , I get to jump back in right here , right , nope , start from the beginning . What yep ?

I'm talking about they better give me all of my hit points back plus all of my mp . It better give me all of my hit points back Plus all of my MP . It better give me everything Plus a buff , like as soon as I'm revived . It gives me a buff instantaneous Cause . If not , it's not worth that . It's not worth that a bit , it's not even .

Nah , you got it , you got it .

I promise you I can help you . I'm not going to spoil you , but I will possibly give you a glimpse into the future , if you will .

Maybe this is so close to her , maybe it's like family , maybe it's close friends . Whatever the case may be , because literally even son rocco said himself when he saw old girl at tomb he was like your clothes don't look like they were from him . It looked like they come from our world , like the real world . Why are you wearing that outfit then ?

Understanding alice , I definitely feel like alice is gonna be . I have a theory that alice is gonna play a much , much bigger role into this , because there's a reason that emule looks like the rabbit from alice in wonderland .

I definitely feel like there's a whole thing into that and , conveniently , emule's mom is supposedly named alice , yeah , and thenash being the one that , uh , apparently clapped them cheeks and Birthed all the reptiles . That's a lot of kids .

So I don't know , I got Theory that Alice is gonna probably either make a Comeback or maybe she's been locked Inside the code and the only way to Fully release her is to be able To defeat every other colossi , and just like going back to what it is that to be able to defeat every other colossi and just like going back to what it is that mera jane wanted

mentioning , with the fact that , uh , you know how all these colossi reminds you of shadow and colossus . And then , if y'all never played the game of shadow colossus I'm not going to spoil it , but just understanding this that apparently defeating every colossi in that game winds up unlocking . And there's a reason that these colossi exist .

They exist to lock something away . That's all I'm going to say . So I have a theory that's going to be something like that . That's going to wind up happening . Like I told you , I haven't read the manga web novel . I haven't read it yet , so I'm just curious .

I'm gonna tell you right , you're in the right direction with that . You are definitely in the right direction with that .

Now , as far as them holding something , they're there because there's something else out . Most definitely , there is something definitely out there that's stronger than them .

As much as you might be like , oh , they're super strong , now they're there , compared to the other thing that's stronger than them . That's sometimes way stronger than them . They're like beginning game , father .

Lycogon just pops up out of nowhere and that's the thing he's supposed to just pop up just to let you know that , hey , we some real niggas , you don't know , considering the fact that , like sonraku , wound up hitting critical after critical I think he said he estimated maybe about 500 criticals and it still pretty much did next to nothing like god just got pissed

, he survived too long and said you know what , fuck this teleport , teleport , teleport , and then just swiped off his legs and then delivered that final , that final hit to hit him with that curse yeah , nah , you lasted long .

I'm going to give you that mark and that's just something that I feel is very specific , because Lycagon just exists in that aspect To give somebody , or maybe even multiple people , because it could be possible for other people to get that mark .

Obviously , the way the NPCs talk about it , it may be possible for other people to get that mark , or maybe somebody else has gotten that mark before . The way the npcs talk about it . It may be possible for other people to get that mark , or maybe somebody else has gotten that mark before . Who knows um based on the lore . But it's like there's a reason .

Lycagon is in existence to be able to help drive that storyline is to be able to help things kind of move forward . You're not supposed to be able to fight to beat lycagon early on either . Like I have a theory that there's a reasoning into that because it's like that's just how it felt .

That's how it was like it felt like that character was written , felt like , like you said , like skippy caught it right on point . Like you're playing the game , bro , I promise it's just like . It's like when you get introduced to that one boss at the beginning , that's supposed to clap your cheeks and you , like bro , you keep trying . Your damnness .

Like what , what is ? Uh , I just um recently got . Devil may cry .

And then you go right back into the game and you're supposed to lose to properly progress the story . Otherwise there's no real progression . Like you , you wind up fighting this enemy that you're supposed to lose . Even if you have really , really good skills , you're supposed to lose .

That's why every like these early boss enemies have a one hit kill attack , not one that you can somehow barely win , even if you do , like a new game plus , and you have these skills equipped and it's like , oh , I have one hp remainder or something . No , this is an insta kill . It's coded for that on purpose to make sure that it hits that progression .

But then the other thing that kind of got me too is the fact like when I mentioned about theories , I'm like that's what . What also supports my theories into that is the progression of the world . Everybody was at 10 percent of Shangri-La 10 or 11% , 10 or 11% , and they went up to 13% after that . 1 of 6 , colossi , 1 of 6 .

I was like , but that only puts you up 2% . Nah , there's got to be something else . That's why I was like there's got to be something else hidden . There has to be something else hidden .

It has to be Because there's just no way possible for the fact that it only progressed 2% after beating one of these six major bosses in the game , and not just progression of the levels like major storyline bosses , but only 2% progression . Something more into that I definitely feel like . So I definitely feel like Lycagon is a pet .

There's a reason he's sunny , that's what I just know . I think he was probably Alice's pet and he's playing like care .

I'm excited in the fact that they ended the first season with the fact that they had the narrator wind up saying that Sunrock had no idea that his second bout is about to happen again and it kicks the life of Gon and life of Gon's like my prey's , strong enough now . Now it's about to get fun , alright .

It's not done , oh , it's not done , oh , it's not done . So these are the ones that are known . You have Lackagon and Nightslayer , which y'all have met . You have Weathermon , or Wezzamon the Tomb Guard or Wezamon the Tomb Guard , but there are three others out there that y'all will get to hear about , see , maybe Meet .

That's the Orchestra of the Doom , echo , Siege Worm , the Sky Ruler and the Saturnid of the Abyss . I want y'all to understand something , right ? Y'all think Wezemon was a problem . No , no , no , no .

Like a gun , cannot like and I want y'all to hear this and please pay attention to this For the seven colossi . They are seven unique secret monsters which can spawn anywhere at any time . All of them can , that included Wezamon . They won't respawn when they're killed .

However , they are designed to be nearly unbeatable and can only be defeated by triggering their unique quests . That line , that line right . There is the part that people have not paid attention to , because here's the thing right , lycagon ain't gonna show up unless his quest line starts .

As much as everybody wants to hunt Lyca gun , they're like no , he comes in random . No , like a gun , does not ? You have to trigger the quest line , just like with the rest of his brethren . You got to trigger the quest line , brethren , you got to trigger the questline .

Talk about callbacks , of hack , with the PKKers having a class of PKKers .

The attack god . And then her attack . Oh her , like that damn void attack . Oh my goodness , like literally there one of the stories I was writing um , that was actually a point that I wound up doing in that story was the fact that I had a character that does that like a void attack

. Of course mine is . There is some differences , so hopefully I can finish the story and get it published out , but so there is a little bit of differences into it .

But still that moment of like the casting of it , the acknowledgement of light and darkness man , when I was watching that I had such a flashback to that campaign , talos With that damn X-Arrow I was like this is what I imagined would be , happening and then wound up leading into that attack .

It plays out with discord where , hey , you know what People now have combined virtual reality and discord and a lot of things to where , hey , nine times out of 10 , you're living your life , life through virtual reality , like you don't really have to do anything outside in real life you still can , but a lot of people go online and do things , and one thing in

particular like rp . Rp is definitely role play . Role play is definitely a heavy thing on Discord and I have a character that literally , because of certain events , she has drawn Real , she has drawn virtual you know the VR shit into real life Because of one person , literally you know being an ass and the way that she Like , the way they brought it out .

Yeah , it's like now , oh no , this stuff here is crossed over . This stuff here is going to make things very much more interesting and with this , with these seven colossi over here in Shangri-La Frontier , yeah , yeah , now I can't wait for y'all to get to these next arcs . Like I said , with Soul Leveling .

I cannot wait for y'all to get to these next arcs , because for y'all , y'all have not seen Beerus .

We gotta take a step back , go into another arc , just to come back to beat him , Like that's just how strong he is .

We have a guild specifically focused on the giant and then we have a guild the guilds that we've known so far in the first season . We have a guild that's focusing that specifically the PKers who knew and was exploiting it about Weathermon . So that guild is pretty much finished and Weathermon has been eliminated .

Still find it funny that it was actually Pistolgun's brother . This whole time I was like call that family relations anyway . But , um , that was pretty funny . I mean that I was like wow , just straight up , like just absolutely trolled your little brother , didn't you just just , oh , yeah , my baby brother .

I just kind of had to remind him who's the older sibling . I'm like me being the younger brother , I was just like the youngest brother . I'm just like , uh , you know what ? Whatever , he was a jerk anyway . Um , and then , of course , you know we have a guild that is also focused on the story of shangri-la , like they're .

They've been trying to dive into it , they have , they have the library , they have so many books and they say even they've said there's so much more we haven't even dived into yet . Then there's a new update with a brand new area .

Not just new classes , but a whole brand new area is now being released out and obviously that area is going to be very important to the story as well too and configure . You know , as the area is coming out . Now also , the story is being progressed because of where the monster like destructs yourself , like because it is defeat .

That is like okay , we're really about to see how things are going to really play out here . It's like this is truly a god dude . This is a game that actually , like day , I kind of wish I could play like you're talking about watching it and being like you're playing . You feel like you're playing as you're watching man . I wanted to play this game .

I was like I want to play this game ?

Usually it's like you're getting to a point to kill the monster right . This time it's like to get the story .

And it's like you need to venture on these quests in order to figure this shit out , and you're just like , oh damn , there's more to it . I'm like like , god damn , oh , I can't wait . Season two gonna be great . I'm like man , I don't know what information we gonna get yet .

Again , I'm and really , this is one of those ones that I'm so inclined to that I'm almost impatient . I'm probably not gonna wait till season two . I'm probably still gonna watch it too , but it's going to be one of those ones . I'm like , damn , I'm probably going to go read this shit .

The one in the Rabazilla , the palace man , that fucking sister , that twin sister who rips your ass off Bruh that does not exist in real fucking video games .

Let me introduce you to this rare item that if you don't buy it now , it's probably not going to be here next time and you're probably not going to see it again for another fucking 67 playthroughs believe me , believe me .

We really zoned in by his whole creativity and the fact that he's like all of a sudden gets the whole saddle idea and decides to tie himself to the horse , to the horse's face , and he's starting to shake him around . He's like , yeah , yeah , as long as I'm here , you can't do nothing . Yeah , you can't get up , you can't get me off .

And it was like I think I'm losing some HP every single time he's shaking me , but I think I'll last long enough to make it to that 10 minute mark .

And again , I mentioned that 10 minutes Like that's some dedication as a motherfucker , literally understanding that no matter what skills and stuff you do , all the amount of items that you wind up using just to survive , because you have to make it to the 10 fucking minute mark , oh , my god .

And then there was a second 10 minute mark where shit just got more insane and you're just like bro , how , how , that part ? And that's still not even the fact that you entered the final phase . And now you actually gotta fucking fight the motherfucker and you're just like bro , this is not right , this is not fair but you can't give up .

You're so dedicated to that shit and literally , matter of fact yes , that's another key moment detail that I love in the fucking show Sun Raku gave . It felt like giving up multiple times and every single time was like nah , nah , I got dedication . I am this nigga . I can do this . The fuck am . I giving up for and then like , push through .

When I tell you that one gave me flashbacks to fucking the Valkyrie Queen with God of War 2018 , I , I can gladly say I am one of the 12% of people who bought the game that managed to beat the Valkyrie Queen . I am gladly able to say that I wear that shit with pride .

Not just I beat the Valkyrie Queen , I beat the Valkyrie Queen on the hardest , difficult . I was able to do it and I was able to like tell us when you was talking about you could count down .

One of the things I paid attention to is that when fighting every other valkyrie , every valkyrie attack in a succession of threes and I'm just not talking about like three individual attacks , no , like every attack , every , even combos , counted as a one attack . If they hit you with a combo , that was technically one attack .

That was a preset attack that was come through . Every special attack was a set attack and I had to mimic my brain to three attacks fighting every other motherfucking valkyrie , but then finally getting to the valkyrie queen who's able to and they're like oh , it's so difficult , you have to use .

They use because the valkyrie queen uses all the other valkyries attacks . Not only that she has an extra combo attack . She attacks in successions of four , so you have to be able to counter every single one of them in four and then you get a free chance of attacking .

And when you get that free chance of attacking , you only have exactly six seconds of attack before you need to back the fuck up or you're getting clapped with a counter combo because the counter combo doesn't count along with the regular motherfucking combo . It's a whole separate thing if you decided to keep going .

No , at six seconds , back the fuck up and get ready to block , because if you're not ready to block or dodge , you're getting hit with a counter combo and you're fucked and you're going to die and you're going to start that shit all the way fucking over again .

I put that game down for like a week and a half before I finally picked it back up again and still died another 20 months .
